Edge of Sanity

She skates along the edge of sanity.
The line between disaster and divine.
Heart now tasting the inhumanity,
without the lonely sip of the sweet wine.

Digging whilst drowning the depths of darkness,
rummaging righteousness religiously.
God bleeding sunshine into her starkness,
pruning the soul hath lost prodigiously.

Placing the lotus seed into the earth,
seed splicing and spiraling down and up.
She senses the sprouts swaying, giving birth,
spilling atop the ground below the cup.

Watering new life, soaking up the ground.
Flower below the earth, above the mound.

Premium MemberReligion vs Spirituality

brought up a Christian
we were taught to believe
Jesus is the only true saviour
saved from sin ~ burden we heave

somewhere not far away, another soul
born and brought up in a Hindu household
chants mantras in a tongue incomprehensible
trusts fables endlessly retold ~ delusion takes hold

fierce war of words oft ensues about narrow beliefs
religious fundamentalism is the curse of our age
although Mother Earth does not discriminate
the fire of intolerance continues to rage

if it were not tragic, we would laugh
for simply by thought cessation
ego recedes and pure heart
imbibes God’s vibration

Gold Diggers In Danger

I saw two gold diggers chasing  by dangerous dogs.
Hidden behind the hindu golden statues of gods.
Screaming for help, some people came to help them,
One dog caught one gold digger and bitten her bottom
Dogs' owner blamed by one driver who carried goods.

Premium MemberMarching On God's Path

Come,
All of you, my brothers and my sisters,
Let us join hands and march on God's path,
The divine path,
The one that would lead us into His arms
Whether you are:
Christian
Moslem
Hindu
Buddhist
Shich
Jew
Animist, or
Of any other religious persuasion.

Come,
You are all invited
You are all welcome
You are all needed.
We need each one of you
We need your presence
Your help
Your energy
Your enthusiasm,
Therefore,
Let us join our forces
For
We all are God's children, and He loves all of us the same,
No matter what our nationality,
Our color
Our creed, or
Our status.

Come,
Let us embark on Faith's boat and sail over the enormous
Ocean of spirituality,
Keeping our eyes on the lighthouse of love,
The only lighthouse able to lead us
Into the blessed harbor of understanding
Of acceptance,
Of compassion,
Of peace and of
Universal brotherhood.

Come,
My brothers and my sisters, come,
The future of humanity depends on
Your arrival
For
To end the reign of war, division and
Hate!

Hindu, Muslim, Christian,
    Buddhist, or Jew...
The beliefs seem omnipotent
    To all but a few.

Tolerance appears absent,
    Among those who dissent.
While dominance over others,
    Allows each to resent.

History provides a record,
    That can't be denied.
Though humanity hasn't listened,
    As if it's petrified.

The spirit burdens love,
    By a willingness to accept.
Where common ground is
    Demanded, for all to respect.

Those to believe in this unity,
    Favor power more than most.
As compromise won't linger on,
    Firm adherence to a host.

Billions of souls throughout time,
Have shown we'll never see the same.
Towards those visions of God,
Since he goes by different names.

Nationalism, Not God, Is Behind War

FROM A COMMENT TO ONE OF MY GOOD READERS/ Soupers:

"It's a blessing to have known Jesus through one's parents. I was 30 when I began to take Jesus seriously ("an acquired taste," for a Hindu nationalist). It's NATIONALISM - of whatever kind - THAT IS CAUSING WARS, not God/Jesus. Study wars & it's civil & uncivil causes will be connected with "ethnos" or ETHNOI, a la Russia & Ukraine, just for a current example of similar peoples fighting for their identities (and ego). They probably worship the same LORD and belong to similar denominations, would be my guess. Yes, material resources may be at stake, but if that CAUSE is paramount then you agree with the Marxists who believe only material/economic factors determine our humanity and behaviours.

Awed By God

I
When trouble comes
Guilt is behind
With Regret Ready and able
(No time for pun on Cain or Abel)
But don't give up on God
Or even the vilest offender
As the hymnist sang, if s/he truly believes
Pardon from God one truly receives
If you must ---
Give up on the accusers, not on Jesus

II
I have been hurt by Christians
As badly as by heathen, Jew and Hindu
Yet a brother in Christ, or sister,
Can heal with human words too
As the accuser-humans hurt with theirs
And thievery of all sorts, to boot!
Don't shut your ears & heart to WORDS
GOD USES WORDS TO HEAL almost all
That other men and women kill

God Pain -,Not

I
First one feels family-hood
As Muslims or Hindus may do
Upon learning, "she's Catholic, he Hindu"
Soon, what denomination are You?
Or, are you a Druze, Shi',i, Sunni or Jew?
Then God becomes estranged
Because we want to help but use chains

II
A west African told my daughter in 1995
"My money is blessed, not your kind,"
As with bumper stickers - most unkind
But cute, smart even, but does it teach?
The love if your God? He couldn't luv all
St. Francis said, words not best to preach
Are our lives, yours & mine, within His reach

Hindus Are Right, In This, Too

I
Hindus and their admirers often speak of their Trinity: Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver/ Sustainer. And Siva the Creative-Destroyer (in the way death of a seed, or if old family members also intimate). One theory of Cosmic origins similar to the Phoenix rising from ashes was also endorsed by the Vatican around 1920 (a Belgian priest-scientist gave us that theory of a cyclical Universe).

II
The dance of atoms, molecules, particles and waves is anticipated in the Hindu teaching that after several thousands of number of years, the cosmos atrophies, so Siva dances Creation again ( dance if molecules?). The Hindu Scripture focus more on all life and creation is nothing but vibrations. Gold and lead are dancing or it's molecules are dancing different dances, yet dancing vibrations all.

Wagering As Pascal

I
Does morality need some religion?
Does humanity need Creator, Creation?
If I'm good even when I'm bad
Morality and religion we must have
As with government, as with queens, king -
Humans need umpires in everything

II
If Jesus makes me a better being
Than I was as a Hindu, even Unbelieving
Where's the harm, if I do as Facebook
Created by Zuckerberg; WA; Telegram ...
Peddling many views, with some decorum
Hard to enforce everywhere, yet there's Reform

III
If God does not exist, and I believe in Him
No harm, no foul. Bonus: no hell, no heaven
But I was better while rising to a human Be-ing
Not just a human Do-ing, wherever I'm going!

Premium MemberBlue

A streak of white in the big blue sea,
a motor boat racing past to flee,
a streak of white in the clear blue sky,
a pilot captains his craft to fly,
a hum of sound, swish of bifid tail,
watch the display of the big blue whale,
ringing of bells, show of piety,
temples worship hindu deity,
hindu avatars are coloured blue,
to show that God is infinite too,
blue is the canvass in which we live,
to show our moods the colour we give,
dark blue are the lips when out of breath,
warning from nature - care for your health!
when the chips are down, blue is your mood,
get life in line, it should work out good,
when young in love and blue are your thoughts,
for someone you love, you have the hots!
blue can be a sign of warning too,
poisons in nature give caution clue!

colour is language nature employs,
blue one amongst its many choices,
live life in full with all the colours,
rejoice flowers under God’s bowers!

The True God

The True God

I exclaimed in astonishment,
There was secular agreement!?
All the folks,
Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Gentile or Jew,
Christians and everyone,
They bowed before one god,
O’ bless us almighty lord,
Thou art the only hope,
Bless us before it is to late,
Bless us, bless us dear internet!

Save us from the site cookies,
End our suffering,
Accept our offering,
Increase our surfing speed,
Oh Lord bless us with a noble deed,
Bless us before it is to late,
Bless us, bless us dear internet!

“Save you I will!”
I am the key to knowledge,
I am the master of arts,
I am the source of inspiration,
I can end your starvation,
I am the answer of every question,
I am the means to the end,
Reality I can bend,
“Bless you I will”
“Bless you I will”

“Bless us he will,
By using our data for us,
By taking our passwords for us,
By leaking our data for us,
What use is such a god of,
Whose deeds are so gross?”
Said I,
Keeping my spirits high,
Keeping my Spirits High…..
“Hey, google, do my homework,
The net is important, this is no lie.!”

Zero Tolerance

Prophet Abraham took an axe
He smashed the idols
He broke them except the biggest one in size
He hung the axe around his neck
When the people came back
They were shocked to see broken idols
They said who could have done this
Abraham have you done this to our gods?
He replied ask that big one
They said you know idols can't speak
He said you mean they are just dumb and deaf statues
Why do you worship them if they aren't god?
They started yelling toheen blasphemy disrespect..
Q.What lesson do we get?
Ans.Chak day phattay.
Masjid dha day mandar dha day?
Dha day jo kuj dhenda?
Us banday da dil na dhavin
Bhulya jiday dil vich Rab rehnda...

The God I Call Upon

The God I call upon speaks every language,
knows every dialect, sees every thought,
hears every prayer, seeks every soul...

The God I call upon loves Hindu and Jew,
Muslim and Quaker, Catholic and Buddhist
and He loves as well the lukewarm agnostic
and waits to welcome the diehard atheist...

For the God I call upon must love each soul,
the lost as well as the found, else how could
I or you or anyone call upon a lesser God?
No, the God I call upon is always More,
never less, but always so much More--
endlessly More, eternally More...

Tramp of Democracy God Bless America

We Christians know enough ... we know
About false prophets and yet shut senses galore
Then we shocked Hindu, Muslim, Jew by loving him
And voting, defending Donald: Liar, Egotist, Trampling

When he lost, he wanted to kill, maim, mock democracy
Hang on to free lodging at The White House
(Maybe it is time to rename this House of Tribalism)?
Trumpling, Tramp of democracy, Trifling with Global Government!

Will we (Christians) ever learn
If they do not talk, walk, share ... about Jesus, Yeshua Hameshiach
They are the anti-Christ if elected by our majority, Believers,
Evangelicals, Catholics! (Biden #2, may correct this tramp)
