Andrew Cooper farmer of the land, of Croyde Devon; in old
England decided he'd plough some fields again? as the sun was shining through the English rain, yet some eco-loonies including a judge? hit him with fines and orders and they don't want to
Want to budge.' O K he remted it to the relic's archialogical
Whatsama-thingammy..Cant deny it' and he took a fee' twenty
Years went past, now surely he can till? again.? At last!! No
Mention of a clause; or legal waiver, .' I'd say to farm again is
His right and favour.' Old England will benefit' the people all
Round need the crops to go into the ground.' A balance is
Great between preservation and farming.' Yet this is an
Imbalance. And most alarming in a time of Brexit and
Challenge of change a nations interest are more relevant
And this injustice must be changed.! Give ear to reality, and
Allow the wheat to grow, as in ww2 the fields need to be sown i am with Andrew.! (the Coope-rman)of Croyde Devon,! may he live long and hale to continue farming that land.!

What is there to say now
What is left to be said
Has it not all been expressed
Let’s refrain from speaking further words
Discussion can turn into argument
So let’s just walk away agreeing to disagree
We do not have to agree to be friends

I respect all your views
You are my closest friend
Yet we don’t always agree
But that doesn’t have to tear our friendship
We are too mature for such foolishness
We can always accept agreeing to disagree
Let’s vow to keep our friendship true and strong

You always show respect
For I am your close friend
Though we sometimes disagree
There is no need for us to argue
It is good we can rise above the fray
And live our lives as friends agreeing to disagree
And communicate adult- to-adult

We value each other
And give ear to our views
We have so much in common
Which is the basis of our friendship
A strong bond and relationship each day
So let’s model how true relationships are maintained
Friendship is one of the greatest treasures

Surely on this we can agree
Friendship transcends full agreement
On all matters in life

*This simple acrostic combined with the photo and the song represent a message I've been preaching since my return, ie, Poets for Peace. A similar message can be found in my lyric - Song of the Poet, and my series of senryus - Winds of Change. We live in a world that is fractured and splintered like never before. Hatred, bias, suspicion, accusations and so on are the order of the day. My sincere hope is this place we call Poetry Soup can become a haven, a place of rest and peace. May this be your prayer as well.

Poetry Soup is the place to be
Art's on display for the world to see
Revolution's now in progress
And the future is clear
Do unto others
Is the message we bear
Grace is the way forward
May all present give ear

Solidarity, I believe
Humans long to achieve
Isolation brings sorrow
For a better tomorrow
Tolerance and kindness are key

let love and peace reign supreme

Land of the free.? Are there any there brave? Anyone who
Will stand and some decency save? Instead of dishing out
Punishment..' instead of dealing marked cards..'
Why not study your constitution.? Maybe its not that hard?
Could there be generosity? In your political home? To me
That seems probable.? Yet its you who must own.! Own
All posibilitys.! may America stand tall.! Pardon for our
Hero let it echo through your halls.' Recognise that our
Julian for human dignity stood." A pardon might restore
Americans faith? In basic good.' Let your eagle of destiny
Out of the cage..That shouuld never have been fashioned
Let your legend have range.' May God bless Ameicans
Who give ear to my call.' Sons and daughters of liberty
I'll salute you one and all.!

Premium MemberPLEA FOR RESTORATION

Seeking now for recovery
I beseech God to heal my soul
from wasted years of misery...
oh, so longing to be made whole.

Seeking help with sincerity
my heart wrestles for earnest plight
freedom from addiction's pity
pleading toward step in the light.

Oh, I long for sweet peace* and joy
amidst teardrops, sorrow and pain
please smite worry's doubt that annoy
grant me wondrous thanksgiving gain.

Lift my spirit from feeling low
to seize life's quest with eager zest
let me bask under serene flow
finding haven in hopeful rest.

*Psalm 39:12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.

GOD SEEKER

You carried HIS THRONE
...I should have my own
You worshiped HIS NAME
...I should be the flame
You did your duty, as commanded
...I will never be reprimanded

...by that MAN

The moment you saw
You could not un-know
How physics would let out
How life would flow

Plans and schemes
Then the declaration
In between it all
A valid accusation

I would be a better GOD
I am setting myself against Spirit
Don't try to send me help or TRUTH
I refuse to give ear to hear it

I will sit up a system for man
Comprised of honor and reward
God and country, served
With promise to shield from famine and sword

I will have an industry
Built on entertainment and pleasure
Creating a feeling of entitlement
For entering in at leisure

I've covered all the basis
With knowledge on its throne
I will harvest souls as payment
For humanity thinking they could own

....MY WORLD

Waste Not Want Not

She sneaks upon you
When you least expect
Beware, little one
No tolerance of disrespect

She will stand near
Seeing if you will give ear
...but never linger
The moment you perceive
Reject or receive
...unable to linger

Once, maybe twice
TRUTH will come to each
But for those pure in heart
The connection will reach
..................................WISDOM............................

Centered and focused
LOVE has a home
No time for lies
Of being alone

Individuals will come and go
TRUTH clothed, will always KNOW
...where you are
Naked, blind, halt, or lame
She identifies her children by a single name
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>LOVE<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

He has no time to waste
ETERNAL has no haste
Time will stand still
As REVELATION reveals
......the waste of lack
...........that can never give back

Premium MemberBe Wise

Wise are all those who heed the call of God,
"Repent, for the kingdom of God is near",
With the Gospel of peace, you must be shod,
Salvation is through Jesus Christ, oh hear!

Wise are all those who gain understanding,
Choose instruction instead of mere money,
More precious than red rubies enchanting
Is the taste of the Lord, He's like honey,

Wise are all those who fear God, hate evil,
By wisdom, kings reign and rulers make laws,
Whoso finds wisdom escapes the devil,
Whose clutches are sharp as a lion's jaws,

Wise are all those who listen and turn back
From worldly ways to Heaven's open gate,
Wisdom calls out, give ear to Master's track,
Be wise, choose life - Christ Jesus, the Way Straight.

Prayer of the Broken-Hearted

Father, where are you?
Please give ear to my plea.
Those I started the race with have gone far,
And I am left far behind.
For my legs have grown feeble,
Too feeble to carry my weight,
That I fall with each stride.
Going forward is a great ordeal,
Going backward a stigma of cowardice.
Did I desecrate your consecrated ground?
Did I cause the treachery of man?
Or are my teeth set on edge
Because of unripe fruit eaten by others?
My heart is always bleeding
From pangs of sorrow and pain.
My eyelids are heavy
From an ocean of tears.
Each night, ghosts torment me
In the day, phantoms ridicule me.
When the wind blows,
Needles caress my skin.
When the birds sing,
It is dirges I hear.
I wanted to find succor
By taking the course of Judas
When he realized his greed for silver
Had caused the shedding of sinless blood
But I abhor the ignominy of self annihilation.
Please, the Benevolent One,
Deliver me from this abyss of despair
For in my own mortal imagination
I have done no wrong.
But if You say I am not guiltless,
Forgive and lift me up.

What Would You Say To the Wind

One has to think
Where will the words reach
Where shall the destination give ear
Will my message be received with joy
Acceptance sent back with respect
My Lord, I have asked you this question many times
Look deep inside of you
For not many of you knew
Our Lord Jesus Christ
Spoke to his wife
Father's church was our union
Saw no division
Heard the words from our Lord
Move towards
Our true future is filled with love
Grace by our Father's feathered doves
I live inside of you
I have made you a new
Now we are aligned
At the same time
Hallowed be thy name
I love our new name

Give ear to stream blowing rough ground
Vying spreading plain voice
Spring wind swings spruces blown around
In the calm vale of choice

Yields a cool, clean dwelling
On a calm sea, whistling
Lifestream contemplating

Swept by the dream
Give ear to stream

Keep On Keeping On

You may rest awhile if the trek be tough,
Grab a breath when the terrain is rough;
Let the oars have some respite,
And the rower fresh viands bite.

But the going must anon continue,
For time tells motions of the brave
(According to lores heavens gave) ,
Shall all forever subdue the earth;
And man's toil shall win him mirth.

Pull your ear from naysayers' sigh
That affirms that man forever can't;
Keep the company of them that try;
Dwell in the fold of champs of hope.

Remember it's no crime to slip a cry
If bristles of fate spanner your heart;
Allow a tear if straining be too much,
But through all remember this part:
You must ever keep on keeping on!

Nothing has ever successfully stood
In the bold path of a determined man,
Who keeps walking despite the mood.
The world lacks case of one who tried,
And was the object of his zeal denied!

Give ear all that hear the spoken word,
For none like this has ever been heard -
The esoteric code that rules the world:
That you'll have to keep on keeping on!

Premium MemberMellifluous

Music to my ears, so mellifluous
is the nightingale's song, ambiguous,
Give ear to her notes, they float on the breeze,
swirling through the air, they're tuned to appease;

I dance to her song, so mellifluous,
She's sitting somewhere, inconspicuous,
Her aria drifts down and I’m entranced,
In the stillness, her whistling sounds enhanced;

I hear her melody, mellifluous,
and I forget all my cares, strenuous,
Lost in her lilt, feeling romantical,
All I needed was Nature's canticle;

Such mellifluous strains, simply classic,
I hear the voice of God in her music.

Ready, Set, Activate

Activate the artist in me

Show me things other's can't see, but believe they are what I show them to be

trust in me to explore their minds, to captivate their hearts and release their sublime. They too are gifted by these hands of mine.

First step in the trust of my guidance, wholeheartedly is your chance

Believe that you can do and see, no need for a second glance

peace will be still, no matter what is all around, You need give ear to my voice, listen "souly" to it's sound

I will activate your gifts, like the writer to these words

I will activate your faith and heighten your senses for which my voice is heard

Are you ready?

Are you set?

Great

Letter To Peer Pressure

Lessen your crimes now and give ear to me
Perhaps I can still make you understand
How a force for bad you've chosen to be
To many in the firm grip of your hand.
You cajole the one, abash the other;
Promise acceptance, threaten rejection.
All in an unfair attempt to smother
The voice of good, and enthrone perversion.
Do I wish you were not in existence?
Would I really snuff the life out of you?
Far from it, I recognize the potence
In you to cheer and uphold what is due.
Decide, then, to turn a new leaf today,
And I may have good about you to say.
