Geometries Poems | Examples

A cold monolithic grace

shadows stretched
from unblinking stone
a sun dares trespass
it's obsidian skin cold

wind whispers unknowns
of forgotten wars
iron tears flown

upon obsidian flank, rust
earth exhales silence, ancient
shrouds frozen breath, dust

within its hollow soul
pushing the rank crust
pulse, violet dark

strange geometries bloom

in the frost upon a base, lost
flock of silent wraiths, gather
circles unknown speak, daggers

ravens scream, unseen
taste of ash n bone
bitter stone

in the air somewhere lingers
broken metronome, marching
sounds all shone

nowhere home, north
a ragged crone, standing
cold monolithic, grace

waiting, watching all alone

Sweet River

Adam's rib, but a simple wand
in the fingers of YHWH,
And fair Eve, the summoned Spell
of this earthen fashioned Dust.
As such, these were the roots
sculpted from towering Mythos;
Finding a rapturous Vienna Genesis:
sweet river of olden scripts,
And yet the Movements of Universe,
still cloaked in geometries unknown.

Lovemathetics

What is the formula of love?
Is it written on a woman's lip
Or hidden within a man's thought cause

Some relationships are like coordinate and plane geometries
While others are advance differential calculus, it is full of mystery and clouded by major and minor characters

Some lovers are like "X" and "Y",
Blend together thoroughly in a simultaneous equation,
Deservingly giving birth to a positive or a negative number

Some words behave like fraction
Gently taking part of a whole in someone's life
But it is either proper, improper, like, unlike, or complex

Some kisses appear like trigonometry
Determining an unknown angle or side
With the ideas of Pythagoras

Some relationships are arithmetic
Addition means to add
Subtraction means to take away,
Division to divide and multiplication to times

Though life is a library of many experiences,
But how can "Love" be defined,
Is it the compilation of feelings through written notes or words

Nameless

worlds within
and without are all waning
insatiable
chaos
vacuum
the void
which sat between heavens
heavens splitting the waters
the waters, the weeds
create living geometries

etch-a-sketch drawings
of silent mandalas

now the dreamweaver
lotus
now the lucid unwaking ones
who appear at your bedside
disdaining your closet

while you lie
awake
sleeping
hypnogogically paralyzed
their eyes burning green
freeze your skies
red
as

Christ
comes

you
trapped in misogamy
you
flying through tattered air
you
stoned off this oxygen
burned by the stare
of a mirror

Premium MemberKissing Snowflakes

Like ballerinas airdropped from on high,
Snowflakes pirouette to damask the air,
Tutued geometries dimpling the sky,
Veil our stinging eyes with arabesque fair.
Downy fields we walk, where aureoles tide,
And white breaths upon your face softly flare.
As my swooning kiss to your frail smile dips,
A wayward prism alights upon your lips.

Message In a Bottle

they talk incessantly of flashbulbs
rickety stories, anchorless
friends are geometries
everytime they sit
in an isosceles triangle
two or more persons
form a conspiracy
the tongue is a genie
smuggling, plotting, spying
friendship, brinksmanship, companionship
all ships are enclosed in bottles

Precarious Miracle

For all that it is worth was contained in a single droplet of thought
in symbiotic deliverance
shall pass perhaps unnoticed by a billion suns
or find it’s way in chaotic course
discover the enchanted spells of Icarus

And in form so complex present itself

Centuries coalesce into a single moment
the precariousness of miracles
only await for recognitions nascence
what other supplicants breath so endeavors
in exultation of a universe

And in form so beauteous reveal itself

It is but a living thing
so of molded intricacies ever described in geometries
to distinguish the passages of galaxies
the potential heartbeats of a billion witnesses
stand upon the precipice a precarious miracle it is

And in form so singular only perfection could have created it

For all that it is worth was contained in a single droplet of thought

Chaos

Pardon me, did you just called my name
This Worldly chaos is deeper...
Do I dare "to measure its fathom"
Voices are all lost...souls I find none

I see figures...geometries of a man
Inhaling the thin mist...to fill the hollowness inside
Did I tell you...I found emotions...”Sheltered"…Old & stale
And the mist is all around me

I walk through...following the lines
Ending up in circles
This chaos is deep…much deep
And I didn't hear you voice

Premium MemberScars Left Behind

These are neither ritual cuts
under the left eye
of a married man,
nor those forehead to chin,
proving Prussian manhood.

I speak here of geometries
describing present then gone,
marking disassembly
within the flesh
drawn upon.

My father’s traced excavation,
down from the throat,
under seventh rib
to spine;
cracked open,
the dark parts scooped out,
replaced by I don’t know what.

My mother’s marks
recorded her history of
loss and pain,
loss and pain,
dissertations in white script,
writ on the body
that breathed me to life.

My own trace flaws
gone sensitive to touch
in the corpus of knowing myself.
