Ghoulish Gear

Gears to grind, grey grimace?
O ghoulish, gold to get?
Turtle, beneath carapace!
He who sleeps forgets!

The champion of the city?
A far off challenger?
This may not - Well, pity.
O for thee, sound! Sad? Sure...

Soul in care of, portal?
A sword will sort it out?
Heart blood, pump! Pour, poor pill!
Ravine rill runs the rout!

Fire-god, in a stern tall forge.
What there will we see?
Abyssal the chasm gorge!
Flickering flock, thy fee!

Guns atop the atoll?
This strategy worked when?
Downward plunge into thy hole!
O dragon, doom! Death! Den...

Rack of lamb for dinner?
Thy supper's sorely got.
O vampire, vine! The winner?
It couldn't be thee, thought.

Cold thy core, O bonfire?
It never seems to get.
Heaven and Hell, murk and mire!
Pinned down, O my pet!

ROSE dear, in you I see my control gear
RISE from your doubts, feel not any fear

HOT looks of yours, makes me totally wet
HOP and hug me, for you I readied a jet

WAG to me you become, to have my kith and kin
WAR of any kind on earth, for you I will surely win

A Soothing Si

It revivals the obvious
scripting fun and pleasure
a mix that is as addictive as
anything one could
find needing
octave monte' in ranges
situated between measures
a sound that is different than the
sound
that it mad by the musician who
chore to be perfect and
more on time
Six Double Basses provided
the deep sound
along with a Tuba, 6 bassoons
and a flute that glided
on the warm summery air that
was fragrant with a Monte Cristo scented
dining area
we awaited lunch as we were hungry from
a day of rehearsal
salad and sandwiches with a
raspberry-tea and French Macaroons
she wrote the lyric here
she said it was from being in love with what
was going on.
" I watched her want to be
with someone she thought
was out of her League
I took the opportunity to be
someone she would the envy"
"What makes perfect the night
from the start of a lovely day"

Missed a Gear With Much Fear

slipped and missed a gear
worried and was with much fear
did run over deer

God who is endowed
made much thunder which was loud
coming from a cloud

each thunder instance
was done with much persistence
close or from distance

thunder was abrupt
destroy and is corrupt
upset and disrupt

Defeated By a Woman

The Election result is a kill-joy
And has a man made a boy:
A result so blunt I’m trying ketamine;
That should my recovery determine
My BP should’ve been key issue
And its treatment a Toilet Tissue …

A woman has captured my capital
And what’s next if not Hospital?
The whole stuff taken to any doorstep
And claiming to have watched my every step …

My eyes have been fed humbling scores,
Another shutting of my political doors
An angering spread sheet on my lap
Underscoring my defeat by a gap.

And I swear animals what these portend,
Birds to laugh if I do them contend …

Right now A chairwoman Elect!
And they wouldn’t me select.
Already, I can see her sky-scraping head gear
And celebratory fanfare in high gear
Artificial eye-lashes one can glimpse from hundred meters
And music-powering generator with hundred litres …

And guess I’m emigrating to Dakar
Or to far-off fourth Africa
Or perhaps nearer Niamey …

No eye-lashes wearer will chair me.

Engaging the Gear of Lust

At all women was he looking with a leer,
So evident too true and clear
You can this verify from A seer…

Even at women no longer near
And ones their hating eyes could spear
All of them passing off as “His Dear”
Save one he’d reserved “My Deer”
And would eyes into her sear:
A knife neatly slitting a pear;

God’s Seventh Law denying fear:
His sharpest lust The Engaged Gear.

Gear Up

It is set to take the stage,
We see signs of its coming,
The tillers eagerly await,
Its visit brings life, hope and newness.

A Deservedly Misunderstood Driver

A Mitsubishi breezes out of the South at Seven,
The North storming at Eleven;
The driver’s continual worrying of gear five,
The tires of the machine ever roaring alive;
In pyramidal slights of screaming passengers
Now-turned doom-alerting messengers.

It’s a driver clearly going bananas,
His remarks classically proving his uncivil manners;
Kano pedestrians openly mad at him,
Now and then attacking him as a team;
Fears that he ‘d been weaponizing his journeys,
Each murder charge circumventing with bribed attorneys…

Always about spillage of blood on a coal tar,
Which he had their bills settled in a lone bar;
The other day, all the passengers dead and cold !
Driver and conductor assisting ambulance told;
Only minor injuries to driver’s finger nails
And serious injuries to conductor’s toenails.

She taught him young how to walk,
But later he chose where to go.
She taught him his vocabulary,
But later he chose what to say.

She sang him a mother’s song,
But later he chose his own lyrics.
She even picked him out a spot in the choir,
But when he was older, he picked out the songs!

Life gives us an atlas and a compass,
But it is we who put our plans and live-in gear.

Premium MemberTwo Gear Changes

Two gear changes is all it would have took..
Two gear changes and perhaps a second look!
The result of you not checking your speed, the
result are now to painful to see!

Policeman keeps asking! too numb in silence
and horror at what you see to answer questions
he’s throwing at you.

Idle driving will now crucify the mind of you.
Idle driving - it wasn’t that you couldn’t see

How much time would you have saved the
policeman asks. How much time was that
little girl’s life worth to you?
How can you answer truthfully, how can
you justify what you see:

Two gear changes.

Welcome To the Jungle

Hide away in fear,
For the dead begin their reign.
Try to escape and they think they are in the clear,
But according to the girl that is like a megaphone, this is only the start of pain.

Fight away through the fear,
No more hiding, there’s no choice,
Even if a sugar rush may cheer,
The wilted flower speaks the hard truth through his voice.

Drive away through the fear
All gassed up with a positive view.
Make sure that he hits the dead with his steer,
So they have a peaceful few.

Drive right into the fear,
Right into a city of the dead.
Now they’re free, but they’re back into the drear,
In a macabre carnival they fled.

Crash right into the fear,
Because they just can’t catch a break.
The eldest that stands tall like a statue tells them to kick it into high gear,
But the torrential downpour will awake.

Drown out the fear,
Run through the cold November Rain.
They’ll reach the final stretch at a pier,
Yet the bridge might be their bane.

Premium MemberSet Complete and Let Loose

For Steve with Love

More vague than unclear the causes cry out an alibi.
I choke on sour taste as I attempt to slide by.

Feelings bunch up, they crouch within my throat.
My tries to set them loose, just cause them to float.

I want to make it complete,
just take this life and wrap it up all nice and neat.
BUT … my scissors edge is bland
               and they shake in my hand;
                   … my paper is worn
                          and the gold edges torn;
plus, my tape won’t adhere -
say … am I in the right gear?

It’s smiles I want in greed’s own count of more.
Some wants wash out in contamination's pour
of severe thunder-reared, heavily flared dank-air
ill aimed at my wants soft dreaming atop mohair.

Shift The Red and White Polka Dots In Gear Mama

From parked rains the little boy lets out a scream
Past the clouds and rainbows his eyes day dream
His umbrella shields his pent up pain
And his shouts weigh on mother's vain
For he tears eternally for a sister's voice and gleam
Please mama, he says, bring me a red and white polka dot
For loneliness of being alone, he cries and fraught
He asks his parked stork for a girl wonder
So he can be her yearning big brother
To babies cries and stork's flying wings, he waits and sought
