Gametes Poems | Examples

Reef

The moon,
Just past full,
Calls down to the coral.
   Lunar ballad pierces
Sea’s briny top soil.
Amorous chords
Penetrate past clown fish
Past pygmy sea-horses
Past the anemone’s crown of thorns
Into the stony castle’s womb
Igniting a blizzard torrent of gametes,
 Kaleidoscopic confetti
Hurtles toward the surface
Reaching. touching, meeting
Achieving consummation
 In the undulating reflection of
The moon.

Brother I Heard Your War Cry

BROTHER I HEARD YOUR WAR CRY

Yes my old friend I had your challenge
I couldn’t help but laugh it off….
You who just cut your teeth yesterday
You I saw soil your under gametes
You I saw take your first steps…
Now you have the guts…

To think you have wit enough
Wit to challenge us
Us schooled and skilled in the art
Us that breathe and live by wit…
Is but the greatest foolery if you my opinion seek

Brother I heard the challenge…
Cower not when the time comes
Let’s make our ancestors proud
I shall with my pen come
 Let’s duel.

Xensual Abc

X-ensual abc

Another besotted, charmed, dissolute evening .
Fondling gadabout’s hearty invite.
Jubilation kindling lusty memories.
Nightly, orgasmic, phallic.
Quivering rose’s swelling titillation unabated.
Veritably wet. Xaerning Yang-Yin zygote`.

Notes:
Xaern= to enjoy something so much you begin to hate how much you like it.( According to Merriam-Webster, word-central)
Zygote= a cell resulting from the joining of two gametes.

The Scientist

Writing to the gates of your heart
pick it up _ a wise choice
it's deeply from sane mind
take a long walk through with it

now to your very own heart
keep this with you always
a chemistry related to Esther's
on tito is my angel T-shirt

epundu _ you'd be happier ever
I'd apologize, maybe later on
love is still a science course
maybe _ the gametes would die.

Premium MemberImprobable Me

The human genome consists of 20 000 paired genes… about…

During meiosis, gametes are generated by randomly swapping genetic material… let's shout…

 2^(20 000) = 10^(6 000) possible sperm (proud of daddy)… boy scout…

 2^(20 000) = 10^(6 000) possible ova (proud of mommy)… far-out…

 2^(40 000) = 10^(12 000) possible zygotes… freak out…

 1 zygote in 10^(12 000) = Improbable Me… no doubt!

When Dad Is a Biology Major

When Dad is a Biology Major

By Elton Camp

I liked to give an answer complete
With specific details to be replete

Child’s, “What are girls made of?”
Brought information too far above

C, H, N, O and not too many more
The explanation proved to be a bore

Nitrogenous bases purine & pyrimidine
Are found in the DNA molecule I mean

Adenine, guanine, thymine, cytosine
With P and deoxyribose sugar are seen

In this wonderful helix they all lie
“Daughter, you can see it if you try.”

My answer was far too complex
About replication, gametes and sex

Since all she was really asking to hear
Was repeat of a nursery rhyme, I fear

Xi: How We Feel

Dearest Vicar –
Did the vergers say it?
Did the ears hear it told:
How we feel – lads & lasses?
Not like stones as you thot
Not like wood as you felt
Not even like your vagabond vergers!

Are we men & manlets;
Were we also born to grow into men?
Were you also born of gametes?
Did you ever see a little soul born?
Did your gametes ever carve a soul?

Darest Vicar –
We feel – in case your ears heard not!
Not like slaves as you thot
Not like mugs as you felt
Not even like your vagabond vergers!

Darest Vicar –
We feel human
We feel like the liberty of birds to fly!
We merit treatment above the slaves;
Purge the headiness & arrogance of the play!

Mockingbirds

Have-beens went into fury.
Like silkworms, after the shock
spinning the myths around them.

Then the gossip will turn towards
the words, locked in extra
sensory awakening.

The gametes move in a chasm,
needling the pastoral scorn.
From the barrel of a gun flows the religion.

Spreading the thighs and baking
the sweet croissants. Will the honey
heal the wounds?

Of centuries? Moon god to moon god
under the swaying palms
man still cannot bring the house in order.

Evolution Ii

... the swimmer
swam up the tube
within a frantic assemblage
of other swimmers
pushing
shoving
striving
writhing
towards an egg queen serene
in a womb room needing
swimmers for seeding
begetting gametes to collide
and form a more perfect union as
a zygote only a mother could love.
Fish-eyed unfeathered fetus
eons
     beyond
           the beginning.

The Scavenger Dog

The scavenger dog

Moving along the dirty streets
With its standing ears down
Sored at both tip. No gametes
At sight sex unknown no proper noun

Running away from stones
Well targeted, thrown by the jocular juveniles
For showing interest in contested bones
They laugh unhappily as their best friend flies

Feasting on the black round faeces
Of well fed fat goats
Or a week old lorry ridden rats or rotten Pisces
Puddle. Lucky when it sees a bone that floats

Playing seriously with Latrine flies
Who always surround its nine vivid ribs
Sucking nectar where it wounds lies.
In its hair dead ticks build their cribs.

Lying comfortably on the puffy street sewage
Allowing the fighting mice to lull it to death
It was after a drink from the drainage
And barking on a scorpion which it later ate.

Shaking helplessly on the road
Till the lead trailer ran pass it.
It was buried by cars and buses full with load
The worms and flies could not just die with it

It was a pregnant dog.
