Saturday morning
It's a beautiful day
Walking towards
my favorite hangout
A local arcade
Tons of video games to choose
I find what I like
A action-shoot
I add somes coins in
And off I go
Shooting aliens left and right
Gaining high score
I haven't lost a life yet
My score goes higher
I have a audience
They're all impress
I've reach the final boss
Time to get serious
I'm sweating, I'm focus
I lost a few lives
Only one life left
It's now or never
Boom! I did!
I've beating the game!
Everyone cheers.
I win a coupon
Coupon for a free pizza
Today, is a great day
What you hear about me
is a story made up of lies
by someone who tries
to steal you from me!
Never believe in a guiltless liar,
all he does is spy and feel despair;
listening to private conversations,
even changing Spades into Kings!
He tells everyone we are two plain fools,
living in a virtual world where fantasy is cool
and things are unreal and nobody drinks boos,
where players love the arcade game Zool!
Never, never believe in a guiltless liar,
spare yourself agony, stay in one piece;
don't let him stop you from being honest and fair...
you chose me, I chose you we are the perfect pair!
Never believe in a guiltless liar,
he'll make you lose everything;
never believe in a guiltless liar
who claims to be a real king!
At the arcade excitement waits
With games galore for everyone
An entire afternoon of fun
Saucy hot dogs and ice cream plates
Some new friendships and fun-filled dates
Lots of fantastic prizes won
at the arcade.
The enjoyment never abates
Like the shooting gallery gun,
Oh, and the hot cinnamon bun
Then, of course, I won paperweights
at the arcade.

Poor graphics,
disappear with your friends
into a quest;
Tokens
succumb to virtual reality,
Shut down the arcade..
Game Over.
when young I rarely played alone
many friends visited my home
among the many in my company
were heroes, cowboys. and fantasy
video games and an old arcade
I seldom went but often played
games of chance that tested me
my aim, skill, and tenacity
I traveled to space riding a cardboard box
took an imagination minus locks
kept butterflies for a little while
with ants for friends in a domicile
then came a steel Erector set
that daddy gave, and I did sit
building cars and Ferris wheel
seeing that as a mammoth deal
riding a birthday bike
I rode the trails of a little tike
traveled the alleys sidewalks and roads
looking for pets like turtles and toads
Pong
First commercially successful
Video game technology
Pong arcade video game
Made by Atari
Loved by millions instantly
Started an 80 billion dollar industry
Pong -no Ping-
Just Pong
Simplistic graphics still astound
Mesmerized by the sound
Blip
Blip
Pong, blip
Blip
Pong, blip
Pong, blip
PONG!!!
Hah! Point made
In the shade!
First to eleven
In Pong heaven
Blip
Blip
Pong, blip
Blip
Pong, blip
Pong, blip
PONG!!!
A social lubricant it became
Relationships formed
Playing the game-
Rocking to our favorite songs
Staying awake all night long
Taking turns playing Pong
Pong -no Ping-
Just Pong
Game Girl
Game Girl broke down the door at 3:00 am
She came demanding sex and marriage
Game boy was a virgin
This was his house
He gave the intruder five dollars
Vowed to see her later at the arcade
Game girl smothered him in kisses
Settled on the five to play
Then went away
Place your coins in the machine
And watch the puppets dance
Or carousel go 'round and 'round,
The ponies all a'prance.
The fortune teller makes her guess;
The baseball players swat.
The circus comes to life
For just a quarter in the slot.
The old arcade is still alive
On San Francisco pier,
So naturally, we did indulge
As long as we were here.
But I got taken by one game -
The name: "End of the Trail" -
A desert with a skeleton
And wagon, built to scale.
I wondered what my money
In that scene could make occur.
My quarter caused the shreds
Of wagon cloth to slightly stir.
Okay, it was a sucker's bet,
But how it made me grin,
Well worth the change I paid
To one who thought he reeled me in!
