The melancholic pair of his deep brown eyes, depicts the contusion of his heart,
his stained skin and the deep furrows shows, how viciously he was torn apart. .
The bruise on his feet, the scratches on his palms,
the blood on his sleeves, and his nodding stance,
The moroseness in his stare, the abhorrence for the hues,
an arduous spin of emotions, he connects to few.

Expectation
Is a wasted exercise.
Attempting to surmise
The content of a situation
Leads to misconceptions:
A woman cries,
A source of pride,
The setting of the sun;
Exchange it for another one
And stand aside.
Don't squander time
With speculations.

Furrowed Brows
My mind, a cornucopia of ripening words.
Idle thoughts hanging loose
pollinated by the muse
Temptation’s beauty
dances on the winds of change
an audience of one.

the face I see is furrowed fields
as if dug deeply by the plow of
life penetrating into the soul
as seeds are planted to become
crops of experience alternating
with joy and sorrow as the years
passed by with health and pain
of drought and floods which are
ingrained upon the facade of the
man of furrowed fields

August skies bring summer showers
Thorny thistles, starry flowers
Perseids burst before my eyes
Star crossed furrows, in disguise
Garden angels of the night
Prickly blossoms of delight
August skies bring summer showers
Thorny thistles, starry flowers

'Pon my brow furrowed lines of great care
Out on the porch in torment went
Pain and agony of soul
Refreshed now with morn's cold
Peace, tranquility
Flows 'or me for
Creation's
