Fortuna Poems

Fortuna

I thought I left romanticizing the future in the past
I thought I left this life
I thought I left the life of worrying about what depths my present actions will result to
I thought I'd never be in a delicate situation again
I was wrong because I live remembering the past I thought I'd never see in my future
I thought I quit being in situations that let me think about my future being on the line
Now I stand faced by the fully awakened thoughts of my past
All this isn't bad per sa ,it's Just that I never thought I'd do it all over again and at this thought I never fail to suppress a smile
It breaks me

Premium MemberA Letter To Salicious Crumb

Dear Salacious Crumb, where did you go?
I saw what Luke did to the sail barge,
as Leia jumped off I witnessed the blow;

Echoes of your ceremonious laugh
lingered after that swift disappearance;
Did Skywalker hit you with a Skiff’s staff?

Bib Fortuna cackled ‘He’s no Jedi.’
I have a feeling you saw through all that;
You know all the smugglers who stop by;

Personal sidekick of Jabba The Hutt,
it’s logical you’d know how to escape
right out of a hidden palace shortcut;

Could have traveled to another planet,
or hidden with those wild desert Jawas;
You’re known for being such a sly bandit;

If not on Tatooine where have you been?
Where in a galaxy far far away?
I gotta know; Sincerely, a Star Wars fan.

Dream come true

You just feel like a dream come true
So ordinary, yet so divine
Ebullient yet so peaceful
Clumsy yet so graceful
Looking at you made me question
Is it just me,
Or do you truly define beauty?
Said it once, will say it again
You feel like a dream come true,
You sound like a poetry made with love
You look like an artist's greatest work.
Had merry been a person it would be you
Had love been a person it would be you.
Favoured by Fortuna
Beloved of Aphrodite
Blessed by Athena
Favourite of all, even the deities.
Darling you,
You just feel like a dream come true

Pense

Pense

Pensemos:
em todo o mundo
todos os anos,
- 50 milhões
de crianças
querem ter
um negócio;
5 milhões
estudam para
criar
um negócio,
500.000
apreendem
como criar
e manter
um negócio
profissionalmente,
50.000 continuam
durante
a vida adulta,
5.000 chegam
a notoriedade,
50 chegam a
abrir outro negócio,
4 criam uma fortuna,
2 criam um legado
para outras
pessoas fazerem
com pouco
mais e mais.

Felicidade

Felicidade

Se você deseja
felicidade
por um ano,
herde uma fortuna.

Se você deseja
felicidade para
o resto da vida,
ajude outra pessoa.

Ame os outros
como cada um,
quer ser
amado,
julgue os outros
como julgaria
a si mesmo,
valorize os
outros como
você estima a si mesmo.

Quando jovem,
nunca pare de lutar;
quando forte,
cuidado com o sexo;
e quando velho,
cuidado com a posse
e serás feliz.

Thorns

I reached out
stretched farther than ever before
I'm not sure what I expected
why I thought it might
end differently this time
Audentis fortuna iuvat
Fortune favors the bold
My fingers pass through
shadowy specters
grasping at ghosts
phantoms of fantasies
mocking me maliciously
leaving me to languish alone
lost in a mist of nothingness
that swirls like smoke and ashes
cremated creations of my own mind
Hope revealed to be but a vine
covered in thousands of thorns
in which I am entangled
slicing and piercing my soul
in its most sensitive places
as the clouds above burst
soaking me in salt water
Yet I will dare to dream
again tomorrow
that someday my hand
will take hold of something solid
Someone in that mist will grip mine
the stinging silence broken
by a simple 'hello'

Premium MemberThere's No Place Like Home

I adore our beautiful island
in the middle of the Irish Sea.
And since we've entered lockdown,
there’s no other place I’d rather be.

All my travel plans were cancelled,
so I’m enjoying a super staycation,
and my lovely little bungalow
is a perfectly natural destination.

I often visit ‘Casa Del Back Garden.’
It’s a picturesque place, I must say.
I love to potter about in my greenhouse.
For safety sake, it’s at home we must stay.

Despite us being on lockdown
we’ve got ample food to eat,
and I get creative in ‘Gran Kitchena,’
where I can cook up a real tasty treat.

I miss seeing my friends and family,
but we contact each other by zoom,
and we can chat away quite freely
from the comfort of our own living room.

My holiday doesn’t ‘Costa Fortuna’
as lockdown rules mean we cannot roam,
so I created my own virtual vacation,
but in truth... there’s no place like home!

A Outra

A Outra

Hoje em todos os tempos;
todos os dias,
na vida ou nos negócios
para fazer fortuna,
preste fortunas de serviço
à outras pessoas,
sempre faça mais e mais
para a outra pessoa.

No Clube das pessoas
herdeiras da vida;
grande parte da herança
é a oportunidade
de se tornar líder de você,
próspera e feliz
e sempre fazer mais e mais.

Para Sempre

Para sempre

Hoje em todos os tempos;
todos os dias,
na vida ou nos negócios
se quer felicidade por um ano,
herde uma fortuna,
se quer felicidade para sempre,
ajude outra pessoa.

É a solidariedade da ajuda
que faz a pessoa seguir adiante
cada dia, pouco,
ou muito de cada vez
a fazer sempre
mais e mais.

no one goes down it,
Autumn evening.

Primeiro

Primeiro

Em todos os tempos,
nos tempos de pandemia,
nos tempos desafiadores,
em todos os tempos,
trabalhe mais em si mesma
do que em seu trabalho.

Se você trabalha duro no seu trabalho,
pode ganhar a vida;
se você trabalhar duro consigo mesma,
poderá fazer uma fortuna.

A renda, os seus lucros,
os seus bônus ou salários,
raramente é maior
do que seu desenvolvimento pessoal...

Fortuna

Acredite;
se você faz
uma venda
diariamente,
você consegue o seu sustento.

Se você encanta
seu cliente
você faz uma fortuna.

Palma

Palma

Na vida
ou nos negócios
a pessoa que faz
o que quer que seja
melhor e mais rápido
e
com mais quantidade
tem seu futuro
e sua
fortuna
na palma das mãos.

Se você conseguir

você pode conseguir o seu sustento.

Se fizer um investimento
de tempo
e bons  serviços
em um cliente,
pode conseguir uma fortuna.
