Premium MemberIf Mother Earth Came Forth Today

If Mother Earth came forth today
she'd throw her hand up, and would say.
"Oh my dear world what have you done?
Look closely at what you've become."

Humanity with no regard
to live in peace can't be too hard!
Destruction, pillage, selfish greed,
all comes from want, and not from need.

You strip the trees, the soil is bare
You mine my lands without due care.
You take and take, do not replace
You slaughter half the human race.

You poison water ways and seas,
and spread around filthy disease.
You cut the throat of fellow man
what once was good, now out of hand.

With dirty politics you fight
make sure that love is out of sight.
Instead, keep taking from the pot
quite soon you will destroy the lot.

So when I stop and look around
there's little joy that can be found.
Despite the crisis found of late
You're still at war! consumed with hate.

Perhaps I'll offer some advice
before you pay the final price.
The future's really up to you,
and will depend on what you do.

Be thankful that your still alive
but change is needed to survive.
What legacy you leave behind
is really up to all mankind.

Come Forth

Hear God’s shout across the skies,
Calling your name - no more surprise.
Come Forth! He says, with a rocking voice,
Foundations stir, they know His holy voice,
Let the miraculous realm arise,
A flood of wonder before your eyes.
A new unction-oil begins to pour,
From heaven’s gate to your troubled soul.
It will replace the sigh with song,
A shout of praise where hearts belong.
Speak His Name - Jesus, Jesus,
Healing flows, it never leaves us.
Don’t wait until the war is done,
Shout now, the victory’s won!
Lift your voice, let triumph ring,
Even as saints and angels sing.
Come to the Table, take your place,
There’s full provision, boundless grace.
For all we need, so rest in Him and go,
Peace is found in Him - we’re made to glow.
So keep on worshipping, don’t cease,
Till high places fall, and hearts find peace.

Just a place to be
 prominently
 the premise

 disarray such a man
 contracted testament
I am a picture in His plan
I am my Father’s voice
Set to words
caretaker of this earth

Go Forth

The struggles and challenges are real
Go forth in the upcoming years
Have no fear but many cheers
Gather strength by accepting the right deal
The deal is give up or fight
For me the end of the road is in sight
There will be delight in the light
Hold Tight

Calling Forth

Etching my name immortal
the words when left my pen
Take on a new perspective
beyond both me and them

Etching all time eternal
the future is renamed
Calling forth beyond true north
— my destiny reclaimed

Premium MemberA dirge in PRAISE of MGonagall's Forth Bridge

A poetaster I will always be
Renowned throughout eternity
For wonky metres and dodgy rhymes
Amongst my other versifying crimes
Like dull images and dreary words
Not to the liking of animals and birds
Whom Orpheus charmed with lyrics rare
While my efforts they just cannot bear
McGonagall is the master to whom I bow down
The man who merits the peerless crown
Of poetry so ludicrously solemn
That it earns derision in any newspaper column
His Forth Bridge production garners distinction
For drawing down mockery on its versification.
I must thank the website to which I belong
In allowing me to keep singing my song
That honour I bestow upon Poetry Soup
With its generosity towards my glutinous gloop

Back and Forth

Back and forth
The words shoot across
Slicing through my pale quivering skin
Sometimes there’s no pause for air
As the hate spews from both sides
I’m torn between the love I created
And the love that I have chosen
There’s no winning tonight
And it’s only just begun

Premium MemberI SO COME FORTH ONTO THE EARTH-

A day in a night that has changed
A twenty-four hour period
God stands outside of time
He watches over all things

Although I am one of His offerings
I am His

A week has come and gone
The universe still sets above
I am encased, embraced in His arms
I am a child of the living King

He reigns on heaven and earth
Elohim creator of all
Minute’s mere seconds I left heavenly places
I am from heaven, I came, I come forth to earth

Bullet-like bursts forth her dawn

On sleep-starved heavy eyes, tired, torn,
Straight like bullet begins her morn.

Kids woken up with a warm kiss,
She hurries that naught is amiss,

Last bestirs hubby’s languid bone,
Straight like bullet begins her morn.

Bare in time she breasts her office,
When home, there awaits some crisis.

Forever hurry, worry-prone,
Straight like bullet begins her morn.

Out of His Side Came Forth Life

Yaldabaoth, the lion, ripped open Adam’s side
Divine life busted out of his bleeding hole
The mother of life flowed out and became his guide
Through this first divorce, death swallowed mankind whole

A roman soldier pierced Jesus’s side
Flaming blood busted out of his bleeding soul
Living waters flowed out with arms open wide
Through this death, life met Adam again to console

I Step Forth

I step forth
By Michelle Morris
10/12/2020

I step forth into my true self
I walk forward on my destined path
I am grace and hope forthwith
I am love and light so blessed

I step forth and I walk tall
I am a true blessing to all
I am protected and guided in all ways
I am given strength for all days

Blessed be...
