Fried egg heart shape, funge
Fried ham and juicy hotdog
Cup rice, crepe for brunch.
My aunty is a foodie She loves, tastes and eats food only. Her small belly rules her sharp mind.
She makes her dear as a foodie. Foodies are liked by her
She drinks, eats, sleeps and lives free.
She buys, makes, enjoys and shares food. She needs no golden spoon to eat. Food is golden for her.
I love food too much
can't have diet in future
because I see food
Ronald Reagan in his prime
Was a foodie, way ahead of his time
Though others thought it 'kvetch-able'
He daringly labeled ketchup, on meat, a vegetable!

Masticator
To salty, crunchy foods I gravitate:
Popcorn, fries, potato chips and nachos
And on my plate some food to masticate:
Fried chicken, pizza, hamburgers and tacos!
A large hot soup can soothe my appetite,
But serve it, please, with crackers I can BITE!
Sarong Song/ Chocolate Lament
For breakfast I sat down with sweetened cocoa;
I snacked on Hershey kisses all day long.
Then chocolate cream éclairs I had with dinner.
I’m changing my bikini for sarong.
A Masticator’s Fate?
Behind my mother I am following.
The white hairs keep appearing; it’s with dread
I picture myself one day swallowing
My food with dentures stuck inside my head!
For the What is a Randomling? Poetry Contest
Three rhymed poems presented as a set on one theme
Generally you are like sweet corn soup,
But at times you are hot n sour soup,
Your cheeks are red as cherry tomato,
Your hands are soft as mashed potato,
You are spicy as chicken-fry,
You are sweet as apple-pie,
It seems you are my complete meal,
Which no one can dare to steal....
