Fray

The tailor rests in her workshop alone.
Grabbing the thread for the day's work ahead,
she begins pushing needle through cloth.

In exercise, she customizes garments, stitch by stitch,
Though it's slow, her craftsmanship shows
uniquely perfect alterations to all her customers' clothes.

Free of charge she'll embroider!
Weaving colorful flosses in and out,
she's leaving shapes and symbols of brightness about.

Now, next door resides a factory--
Producing pants and gray garb by the pound,
sewing seams a million a minute,
machines militarily hum-- a deafening sound.

Though it's quick, embroidery: $2.50 a stitch!
Soon soulless, the town paces around;
robotic sporting same-sized sacks,
bland factory templates surround.

Yet the tailor still rests in her workshop alone:
knowing stitches sincere are those that are *****,
perfect to the individual, not the machine.

Premium MemberTugging On Heart Strings

This verse might bite, straight into some hearts
Hack open tough sternums, pull rib cages apart
Anaesthesia's unnecessary, wouldn't do any good
It ain't bypass surgery, I'll be keeping the blood

Yeah a mission of mercy, an operation to save face
Your fate has been chosen, not here touching base
I'm searching for strings, inside your heart valves
For this vampire flosses, and scared of root canal

HELL

Well this is hell isn't it?
Tolerating a throbbing screen and pounding a stationery keyboard
blazes at the screen and says,
"Jesus Wept there's got to be more to life than this, surely".
Writers Block.
Flosses teeth.
Gazes in the mirror and says,
"What are you looking at now?"
"What's behind me", she answers the reflection, peering at the mirror.
Turns away, walks out of the room.

Bar None 2

No holds barred, utter defeat is what I see in those cards
No holds barred, utter defeat is what I see in those cards

Read these cowards faces like pages of a book

Haters wanna steal my fame, they're something like a crook

They must think I'm a tree, lumber-jackin', trying to see me fall

Can't stop my hustle, pockets on full, theirs looking small

I stay on my feet, similar to a pair of shoes

I'm the Road-runner, they're Wiles-E-Coyote--doing nothing but lose

See me, I'm ballin', even if I was injured I wouldn't quit

When I Rap, I'm a cobra, straight-venom I spit

I see no competition, in this game I'm a predator

Fools get out of place, get erased, call me an editor

I'm the talk of the town, females gossipin', haters hatin'

Hottest in the streets, this ain't an election, no debatin'

I took a couple losses, came across and fought a couple bosses

It's a dirty game, like a mouth you never brushes or flosses

Stay on point, I'm sharper than barb-wire

I'm the king 'round here, so you can call me Sire

I'M Just Me

I may not be Skinny
And my Boobs are bigger
Then the other girls
I'm chubby with Curves
And All you want is a skinny
chick with a fake bake tan
I got more or better to offer you
Then the other Girls do
So why wont you just give me that chance
I can love you better then they can
I'm far from perfect
I can be a geek
And I love to sing and dance out loud
But hey those are just some of my
Flosses that I got
I just wish you could see me for who I really am.
