Tugging On Heart Strings

This verse might bite, straight into some hearts Hack open tough sternums, pull rib cages apart Anaesthesia's unnecessary, wouldn't do any good It ain't bypass surgery, I'll be keeping the blood Yeah a mission of mercy, an operation to save face Your fate has been chosen, not here touching base I'm searching for strings, inside your heart valves For this vampire flosses, and scared of root canal Something Spooky 8 to 16 lines Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Tania Kitchin 12/10/2021
