The Vestal and the Ladybug

There was a little ladybug in my house tonight
that means pleasing luck and prosperity hindsight
as her son Jesus riding a pack animal burro
Mary Ladybird our Lady spots joy and with sorrow
from her cloak in primal paintings of lineage rare
I wonder if the black spots were the color of her hair
the name means scarlet hence the color known red
I'm glad it was spotted before it crawled in our bed
they both have enemies but camouflage greatly well
immaculate conception is differed though with smell
their ancestry or bloodline represents them as the 7
for up to two years they travel with guardians 11:11
If you view this number frequently in time do watch
it's mine in field of study and birth chart is topnotch
the Lady Bird 1 or 8 depending on various statistics
and the Lady Beetle insect in accordance characteristics

Premium Member It Knocked, So I Built a Door

Someone once said,

        "If opportunity doesn't knock,
         build a door."

It Knocked, So I Built A Door

Building doors, and other construction,
That I performed
Was the most incredible opportunity
That I couldn't ignore.

I'm at a retired state now,
From being a carpenter stake
But it was such a great adventure
I had to take.

The building, like "Jesus did,
When God became Man."

Great profession it was in like kind,
That one could achieve in his mind.
If its indeed in your heart,
A passion that you possess.

You'll succeed there it's guaranteed,
A success!

Opportunity knocked again for me,
But in a place, I never thought I would be
In a field of study, different from before
In the literary world of creative writing,
Sometimes about doors.

So, here I sit, writing as I do,
The grandest of opportunities
That now displays to you.
A muse, if you wish, to me,
A product of options success.

Tribute To the Intellectual Pathfinder

Majored in Social Anthropology -
Healdtown a significant influence
in his life .Not only was Mafeje an
influential academic, he was a man
of brilliance, intellect and insight.

His trials and tribulations were many. For example,
Archibald addressed a crowd which was ‘illegally gathered’,
and for that reason he was arrested. He did not despair.
A force in the fight against injustices and marginalisation.
A custodian of African heritage, awareness and identity.

A protector of the African identity, of African roots and rights;
Mafeje contributed to South Africa and its nationals. An ‘intellectual
pathfinder’ who played his role in enhancing the people of Africa’s
knowledge and self –worth. That which he bestowed, both on the scholarly
and political spheres was no mean feat. He shone in both scholastic and
insightful ways. A man of brilliance, intellect and insight. A focused pathfinder.

He laid the foundation for future African scholars embarking on a similar path of study. He also raised the benchmark in his field of study. A fountain of
knowledge and an author and researcher of repute.A focused pathfinder.
