You can feel the love overwhelm the air,
there's magic floating everywhere,
people stand watching with wide eyes,
the newborn baby as it cries.
A beautiful and perfect baby child,
everything that's happened has been so wild,
but waiting for this baby's birth,
makes the long nine months of so much worth.
A little bundle with eyes so bright,
for the very first time these eyes see light,
with clean pink skin, small hands and feet,
they wrap the blanket so tight and neat.
Family and friends all come to be,
with the baby they waited so long to see,
with smiles and laughs from everyone,
for this newborn baby that makes life more fun!
Though I wanted you to stay a tiny baby,
and keep you in my arms so tight,
I know you are going to grow
But always remember
through the years
I still love you so.
The years have rushed by
and all I can do is sigh.
I have to realize
your a baby no more.
And I ask the Lord up above
to keep you in his thoughts
and keep you safe from harm.
I am always with you
even if we are miles apart.
You were once my baby angel,
but now I have to let you grow.
I cry when I see you
Because I see how far you have come,
Your a beautiful young woman now
and you have made me very proud.
run baby run because your demons are coming for you, run baby run the time to pay your

A Mother’s Joy
A mother’s joy is to see her self living on in her daughter
Strong, beautiful and alive
Taking life, ahead on with no regrets
Knowing that the world is her without limitations
That’s been implanted in her for many years
Yes my baby girl life is hard
But we get what we want no matter how many times we may fall
We always have to learn the hard way, but we do learn
A mother’s joy is seeing her baby girl raising her own babies
I’ve must of done something right to have you by my side!
That smile you get upon your face
Lets me know that you are happy and doing alright
I may not always be the most importation person in your life
But you are to mine!
A mother’s love is being able to let go
You told me that it’s a mother’s job is to always be there when their children are in trouble
No my baby girl
It’s not our job, it’s ours love that keeps us there
A mother’s joy is to see another day, another year, and another grandchild grow and
become another branch from our tree
These are the things a mother keeps locked up in her hearts
In a little box called a mother’s joy!
We were not children of privilege,
But truly didn't know it.
If our mama had a favorite,
She surely didn't show it.
Lewis was the eldest of seven
And took his position seriously.
Lloyd was playful and Charlie a joker
Who could make us laugh hysterically.
Glenn the fourth son, a peaceful lad,
Was very big and strong.
He was the baby for four years,
Before I came along.
I was the long wanted daughter
And youngest until nearly three,
When my sister Gladys was added,
The perfect playmate for me.
Seven years later Our Baby Joe,
Was born in the fall.
We welcomed him and he became
The beloved pet of all.
Our mother and daddy were loving
And never lost control.
We each had our own special place
And played a definite role.
I loved my brothers and sister
And I simply don't recall
An instance of sibling rivalry.
I think there was none at all.
My parents deserve the credit
For raising a happy brood,
Who loved and cared for each other
As brothers and sisters should.
