For My Daughter

Though I wanted you to stay a tiny baby, and keep you in my arms so tight, I know you are going to grow But always remember through the years I still love you so. The years have rushed by and all I can do is sigh. I have to realize your a baby no more. And I ask the Lord up above to keep you in his thoughts and keep you safe from harm. I am always with you even if we are miles apart. You were once my baby angel, but now I have to let you grow. I cry when I see you Because I see how far you have come, Your a beautiful young woman now and you have made me very proud.
