Speaking from experience
as not one to falter
at the altar
its no illusion
why I came to this
wedded bliss conclusion
the institution of marriage
is one I won't disparage
for better or worse
wedlock is the bedrock
of civilisation
and of course
the only
reason for divorce

I stand, where paths diverge,
With merry Andrew, years’ faithful surge.
The Creator’s hand, a craftsman’s embrace,
Yet dreamscapes falter, bound by time’s
Trace.
At tri-junction, like a gazelle carved in grace,
Amid ancient trees, a sanctified space,
Rooted, seeking signs yet unseen,
The road ahead-a riddle,
Serene.
Branches murmur, leaves weave lore,
Tales of renewal, of hearts once torn.
Choices beckon-left’s holds the known, paths,
Right reveals a frontier, where wild seeds
Are sown

I'm helpless, helplessly so,
Bound to the weight of mine own woe.
Mine hands do shake, mine limbs do fail,
And every deed is carved in frail.
I wander around aimlessly,
A wretch who doth not wish to be.
Mine fingers break what once stood tall,
Mine lips do lie, mine own to fall.
I tear, I spoil, I set to waste,
I choke on all I swore to taste.
Till breath is thin and time is slow,
I'm helpless, helplessly so.

We’ve been, seen but not become
soul’s light that bids us welcome,
since as yet we stand not still,
not quite aligned with God’s will.
Subtle flickers of disdain,
stifled dreams that cause us pain,
from time to time, raise their head,
signalling that we’re ill bred.
What avail the Holy Grail
if feral instincts prevail,
clouding sight, veiling God’s light,
making us cower in fright?
Although we do hear love call,
we’re headed for a long haul,
slowly erasing fissures
to reclaim heaven’s treasures.

Do you write the words
or do they write you
Are the feelings tattered
or something new
Do you speak in tongues
or in muted silence
Are the moments sacred
or void of credence
Do the questions answer
themselves in time
Do the phrases mingle
but never rhyme
Do the reasons falter
excuse to reign
Do the moments linger
—tomorrow framed

I FALTER I CHOOSE NOT THE SINS OF My father
Must I falter
I eliminate the sins of my father
Must I fall Lord, being condemned, by those spiritual choices of my father
Should I fall Lord
Or should I rise and fight those
Impulses that seem to tug and bind
I am reminded
I am not his, and also t hat I belong to a living God
So as the world may find this quite odd
I choose not to be lead by the sins of my earthen father
AMEN

N-ever let your faith falter
E-ven if the night is blue;

A-llow your trust to glow,

A-im and hope for sunshine, never let your faith falter.

Together we lie on the crimson sheet
Hands pressed together, we are now complete
Worlds apart in so many ways
Our eyes fixed on each other with agaze
Years have passed since we last laughed
We need to rediscover our craft
But, Time is short when you reach life’s peak
Our body’s are worn down like a showroom antique
Our love for each other will never falter or cease
It’s now time for us to close our eyes and make peace

Regardless if I spend time as a salter
From here to beyond Gibralter
Going to make you falter
I don't care if you pray at an altar
Catch them by the collar
Not going to let go even if they holler
Spent time growing up in squalor
Never was I the best scholar
Getting my hands dirty for blue cheese and not no dollars
Another rascal
I heard about the scandal
And pscyhobabble
Talking about people like they're cattle
I can understand why you're feeling frazzled
And rather rattled
Toward me so many confide and tattle
But don't worry this will get handled
And it's not going to be a hassle
I will make sure they are used as an example
Getting continually trampled
By cleats and sandals
It will be worth the risk and gamble
No matter how far I have to travel
I will make sure I win the battle
Even if they got to get shackled
And put in front of a panel
Or left lifeless below or above bits of gravel
After all time will always tell and unravel
Regardless of if you believe it had anything to do with a bite from an apple

i love you but i falter too! Time to time i used to lose,
momentum but now shifting in rhythm observe this
potential its exponential, if you mine you mind's,
connection to divine these eyes will open in time,
follow your own grind cause i'd never waste my own
time, unless i scheduled it to remind,
that we are a part of divine,
though we seem far entwined this very present
brought by language seems fine.
and the scars on our thighs, no longer waist high,
no misery we hide, a pride thats bottled up in divide,
wonder for life, we searched and found right,
and for all the trip was live, cause every morning,
four till five, though i cherish it now, as clouds i sprawl,
to see you after-all, you're the reason i called,
could life be involved?

Lest I Should Falter
I sit and watch as clouds gather above
huddled under my umbrella, singing along
to pitter-patter droplets destitute of
emotional mourning, or yearning, or love
befitting the day; our emotionless song.
But billowy winds stir up in the trees
which howl in despair and fright
and cast off their crowns, but bend not their knees
nor surrender their will to the relentless breeze
befitting the day, and our dreadful plight.
Some days all of Earth refuses the sun
pulls up the blanket and hopes to drown
but that which transpires will not be undone --
Salute! Salute! Then wish it away, or fight it, or try to run
but I’ll sit it out, as numb as the rain falling down.
For this is the beauty of nature and rain,
the inspiring fight of the sentinel trees
which never surrender, nor bow to the pain
which fight through the gales and refuse to wane
for other days come, brighter and warmer than these.

No Halter and Will Falter
An ego likes leading you to the altar
And may be big as rock of Gibraltar
She had forgotten to wear her halter
Then both of them started to falter.

A beautiful blade of grass, gleaming of a sad dew sits on the ground accompanied by many.
All are casual, some soft, some dry,
Yet all so plain and simply satisfying.
The human touch does not hesitate to fall on them,
As they curl and deteriorate,
But a force so powerful takes them on.
A dry tired weed lays on the ground,
Blooming of a yellow powder.
It is dusty, but simply beautiful.
The children come out to play, gentle at their touch.
The weed is picked by the soft hands of the interested,
Still innocent only to be left,
With the collection of common blades.
Oh, so beautiful.
