Premium MemberHer Sigh

A sigh passed from her soft lips,
like ice cracking over the pond.
It was not for fear I trembled,
but for passion freed from its bonds.

A glance entreated from her bright eyes,
like a hunter’s horn across the fields.
It was not for pain I flinched,
but for the path I could not yield.

A caress lingered from her slender hand,
like molten fire on the plains.
It was not for anguish that I moaned,
but for the need I can't explain.

A warmth passed between us
from heart to heart and
through her hand.

When she pressed
against my chest,
I was lost before I began.

Great Saint George

George faced the two ships of splendorous light
Entreated, and vowed to shatter the false gods
Openly soldiering on, through Christ’s name
Rome, heard this bright name and brought their wheel of swords
George even climbed up their ladder of knives
Enduring this, his crimson cross now shines high

Partly inspired by the "Incantation of St. George" from the medieval Chinese text "On the Xiapu Ritual Manual Mani the Buddha of Light"

Terra Incognita

He had a dream in the still of the night,
Someone beckoned on him,
Someone implored him to come,
He looked distressed and troubled.

He was worried
He knew it was an urgent plea,
But it was a place no one had ever been,
It was a place shrouded in mystery.

Many had tried to go,
Many as such who was entreated to come,
They didn’t succeed,
They could only go as far as its boundary.

He summoned courage,
He took alongside other men,
Those with fiery hearts who had sworn an oath.
Who had pledged an allegiance to a worthy course.

They embarked on the journey,
They broke through and prevailed,
They conquered and subdued,
They brought light into the town.

The town was revolutionized,
The men were immortalized.

Premium MemberNever Nothing Un-Savoring Comes Out Your Mouth-Betroth To Me Would You Please-

You look into my eyes, the mirror to my soul;
Entreated, enchanted you explore;
You look upon me in love or is it lust;
How do I know in you I can trust?

Pacify the acts of endearment;
Untie those feelings of confinement;
Into reality of life;
I need enlightenment;

I love your inner soul;
I love the way God made you so. . .
Beautiful comes out;
Never nothing un-savoring comes out your mouth;

You belong to God first and then your earthly Father and Mother;
Now I’m asking of all three
May I be your betroth, be yours, may I be…
A husband to you, for you matter

Into reality of life;
I need enlightenment;
Those acts of endearment;
No longer a conflict;
Untie those feelings of confinement;

Never nothing  un-savoring comes out your mouth;
I love your inner soul;
I love the way God made you so. . .
Beautiful come wayward out;

lost for words,
      panting passionate eyes
         tangled, bare,
within,
      a brief lull burnished heart

  winds supple love
      entreated rhythmic strokes
          to fill the longing

And It Came To Pass

David gat himself up and wives,
And did in transportation thrive.
That the philistines had governed,
Isreal,Hebron,and all urban.
Then he entreated God for his land,
And the Lord was entreated of him.
Thousands of souls paid homage to his hand,
As his spear wrought a bloody movie.
Then Abner flee beyond ridges,
And his foe he did cast aside like bridges.
Till a witty casual aged in wisdom,
Put aside Abner's thriving whoredom.
      For Asahel had fallen before Abner,
     Through Bithron's plain,Abner did traverse.

Hand of Divinity

How can love be so constricted
to turn from one and to another
it is boundless
love is truly undivided

And how in all the strangers eyes we see
we feel so very separated
yet in endless love we have existed
for always it will be

Love the sea of endless blessing
promise in every motes creation
by the hand of its divinity
are we united in witnessing eternity

To compassion we are conscripted
to be the voice of empathy
please follow her with tender heart entreated
this is loves only plea

To stand together in common grace
hand in hand with common knowledge
each imprint of devotion
elevates the design of being human

Lay down your difference and isolation
it is only yourselves you fight against
hold each other as if you were children
and see, how much more we can be

Love the call of endless blessing
promises in every motes creation
the loving hand of its divinity
and so we are all united in witnessing eternity

For in compassion we are uplifted
to be the embrace of loves intention
please follow her with tender footsteps
this is love and to love is her only plea

Premium MemberWisdom From Above - James 3: 17

Wisdom is a much sought commodity
many would seek it above any jewel
Solomon had it above anyone living
but didn’t always use it being a fool

The wisdom that comes down from heaven
is full of peace and indescribably pure
giving our minds clearness and focus
with a gritted determination to endure

It also has such gentleness of spirit
having a real willingness to yield
to righteousness bringing God honour
so your ailments can be divinely healed

This wisdom has the fullest mercy
producing many fruits for your good
this being truly impartial always
showing no hypocrisy clearly understood

All of this is truly God given
nothing of earth could create this
what blessing to receive such wisdom
complete in Christ this truly is

(But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.’)

Entreated

ENTREATED

The gigantic motion patrolled
In the dark room immersed myself
No! This can't be it's no more
Giving out a shrilly sharp vocal
My throat adhering to dryness
What a slurred pilgrimage
I didn't realise it wasn't over
Drapping across my numb limbs
Crawling in the dark room shivering
A dark shadow appeared in roar
What a sunken face with bones
Was it a ghost or a demon ?
No pop as my voice faded in the dark
Chattering of things I knew not about
Tears rolling down endlessly-
Remembering the teachings in cathedral
Would this really save me from furnace?
blood smearing seemed a ritual
Drinking from that skull like cup
Presented by long bone like hands
all I would mumble was readings
Had the saviour arrived to lend a hand!
Maybe yes maybe no I tried to swear
It wasn't really though my fear overwhelmed
My conscience had gone for a trip
Far far away from my world though
Entrapped in my own thoughts of loss
I preferred taking it solo
The mission meant to be accomplished
Only by self and step by step
I took the wrath to my own hands
and all was only a symbol of cowardice.

Cold Muse

Burning for the cold touch of your hand
Yearning for you to understand
That my heart is more than an empty can
And you are but a carnal man.

When we make love
The look in your eyes is hollow
When we make love
The tone in your voice is static.

Pretending everything's ok
Make-believing this nightmare is a daydream
Crying in the shower whenever I'm alone
Waiting on pins & needles for you to phone.

Lingering between the sheets
Hoping to retreat back to the beginning
Where you & I first entreated
The muse of love & all her vices.

The First Debate

Like gladiators, though in suits,
They marched onto the stage,
Their confidence or nervousness
Impossible to gauge.

The moderator welcomed them.
The crowd gave their applause;
And then we held our breaths, in hope
Of seeing someone’s flaws.

Their words lashed out, attacking,
Modern weapons they were wielding;
And both repeated errors –
To the truth they weren’t yielding.

We squirmed a bit at things they said
And silently entreated,
Encouraging our candidate
To not act so defeated.

The commentators waited
‘Til the battle reached its end
And then declared the winner,
Which supporters would defend.

At home, we turned the tube off
And, elated or dismayed,
We wondered if the undecided
Might have gotten swayed.

With two more competitions
Plus the VP’s set to meet,
It’s too soon to determine
Who will end up in defeat.

From Earth With Love

Before dying
Wriggling soil
Asked the children

Would you give
The leafy eyes
Only to see me?

Before the fall
Writhing earth
Entreated the children

would you give
The ears of green trees
Only to hear me?

To the world of the matured
Went the little ones
Searching leafy eyes and ears.

Will they return?

If return
Will the soil and earth remain?

Seductive Delight

The first taste of warmth as lips clasp and kiss,
Softly held in his solo covet bliss,
I cede to the wild passion that persist;
Loose count as each moment beats to coexist.

Lifted in arms to undergo joy and thrill,
Of entreated desire yielding to his will,
Taken thus I quiver touched by his skill;
Conquered bewitch and seduced in the drill.

Raw yearnings stay for our divine pleasure;
As love raptures feast in the leisure.

The Last Kiss

The last kiss is blown
into the Sanskrit winds,
passing indecipherably,
planted on the sky.
All that is discerned
are emotions bared therein
the calm of clock towers fossilised
to claim what hurries by.

So time sinks feet in instants
of merciful prayer,
locking down the shoulders
bowed in reverent grief.
Yet the smile her memory carves
on the stone entreated lips
pays homage to sweet life
stolen by a jackdaw thief.

The last kiss is made
into the fade of day
and shimmers in remembrance
of a beauty without taint.
That she catches it with laughing eyes
and wipes the tears away,
and conveys it to the heavens
to bestow upon a saint.
