It is quite common to kiss 'ouchys' on those wee.
At three, my son asked to have bath autonomy.
I tossed a washcloth, then stood where he could not see.
Soon, he called out with words that completely shook me,
"Mom, it washed red and sore, please come kiss my pee-pee."
Shopping, strolling him down the grocery store aisle
where female hygiene products are sorted in piles,
my son, age four, earnestly said, "When I'm grown, I'll
buy all these things with flowers on them for my wife."
His words styled a smile in me that would last for life.
I used mild-applied wooden spoons for mood anchors.
This set me up for disgust from food cart flankers
when my son yelled, "Look Mom, a hole bag of spankers."
My child, four, eyed that, not the shelved Power Rangers?
I hoped no one would report child welfare dangers.
Once, when a minister summed up his sermon's span
asking "Who's the greatest force in the universe?",
my son, at five, stood up with some dramatic plan.
Lifting his toy hero as high as small ones can,
he enthusiastically declared, "Batman!"
Thoughts of vacation, developed my fav word pearl,
"How many times do I wake up before Disney World?"

So much hate
Such is fate
I look around
Hear the bugle sound
Hearts are bound
Let freedom ring
To whom do we sing
Far to the left, far to the right
But it's in the middle we fight
By strength we unite
Ruled by the iron hand
Demanding we all march in that band
Enthusiastically cheering nothing at all
We must build our wall
Or we surely shall fall
Leaderless leaders leading the blind
All are afraid to be left behind
dont know what they want
Votes they taunt
Where are we going
I'm not in the knowing
Uncertainty in the forecast
Common sense fading fast
Can only hope it doesn't last
Come tomorrow
Pride I may have to borrow
Cuts here cuts there
Hey that ain't fair
Shake my head and stare
Who knows what comes in next
But we shall read about it in some text
All a late night drama show
All I know
As the stomach turns
The world burns

Zany zealot
Fervently on fire
Enthusiastically single-minded
Fanatical and furiously frenzied
He tries to convert everyone he meets
He cannot get a job, has had twelve interviews
We cannot help him, he is a selective listener
If it does not fit with his schemata, he does not hear it

If you stand strongly with and for Liberty
I will fearlessly join you
If you stand firmly for Freedom
I will cheer the noble gestures of your kingdom
If you stand enthusiastically for Equality
I will ecstatically stand with you too
If you stand for good democracy
I will help you spread the seeds of Love
I will happily clap when the doves are hovering above
If you stand solidly for fair and equal justice
I will help you ring the bells of peace
I will fervently pray for you all the time
I will sporadically listen to the tintinnabulation of the chime
Brothers and sisters, I have tears of hope in my eyes today
Otherwise
My pen is able and ready amidst the fray
And it won’t be so wise
Because I love my fellow human beings, our people
Who are black, red, white, yellow and purple.
P.S. This poem is dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and to our brothers and sisters.

Joy enthusiastically circles me
I jump in the air, attempting to touch her
She dances a merry step
Slightly out of touch, laughing at my efforts
The trees watch and snicker
Their leaves flickering silver and green
Understanding better than I
Joy is more important than we will ever know
For when we are gone, joy is gone
Hope is buried, for without one there cannot be the other
The wind and I stare at the trees
Understanding the importance of joy

As a gymnast with zestful glee
Going to and fro she likes to flee
Climbing up then down freely
Swinging herself wondrously
Showing off to pet monkey she does see on the tree.
With jubilant and vibrant spree
There she is, very mobile as she can be
Exercising faith* spiritedly and enthusiastically
Hopping with pull-ups, strengthening knee
Mimicking pet monkey, assisting her at the counts of one-two-three.
*Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

marie is a giddy gliding dragonfly
flitting, flirting, flying high
light, lithe, lively too
enthusiastically exuding energy of two
swooping sassily among the grateful gladiolas in the glade
kissing yellow daffodils and tulips, never afraid
landing on lovely lilies with a dainty touch
a delicate demure dragonfly, we all love very much.

Relish your inside voice, listen to what you need for you
Enthusiastically face each day, expect to give your best self
Speak your truth, stand up for yourself and for others
Provide a listening ear to whomever needs one
Encourage others to become their true selves also
Create a niche in the world where people seek you out
Trust your inner voice to guide you and show you YOUR way

alabaster alligators always allow
bulbous bickering baboons access to their waterway
canal etiquette at its best
deliberately welcoming these interlopers
enthusiastically waving them into their canal
frisky forest fey watch, expecting to see the worst
giving excited baboons no credit for wise choices yet
having prior experiences with the alligators
ideally, they would like to expect the best

knowing not the ruthlessness of the clever alligators

May 27 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Esther 1-3
Key Verse – Esther 1:4 When he shewed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honour of his excellent majesty many days, even an hundred and fourscore days.
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO IS SOVEREIGN
OVER ANY HUMAN RULER OF GLORIOUS KINGDOM
Praise be to God Who is sovereign over any human ruler
of glorious kingdom since He alone can:
Redeem souls eternally
Rejuvenate service earnestly
Refresh spirituality enthusiastically
Replenish sustenance everyday
Respond to supplications eagerly
Esther 2:3 Praise be to the Lord
for purifying us while we are:
Fighting for His godly cause
Following His governing call
Fulfilling His great charges
Focusing on His guiding commands
Feasting in His gracious compassion
Esther 3:1 Praise be to the Saviour
for promoting us toward:
Perfection of our behaviour
Protection along His Bible-brace
Praise for His blessings
Power in building-up
Presentation of our best. Amen!

a leisurely spring day with a friendly southernly wind from the west
I hang from an oak tree nearly hitting my round chin on my flat chest
from homes of unsuspecting neighbors, I hear dainty titters and more.
doddering Mrs. McCollough left for rancid happy foods grocery store.
bullish Rutherford rerun, the angry wife throws out all his same stuff.
he kicks the set kitchen table over before leaving in an angry loud huff.
i am enthusiastically spying in my unassuming upside-down pose.
Super confident that I now know much more than anyone knows.
nose reports Mr Clerkoff is baking a raspberry cobbler again - yum!
ears relay newlywed wife has her puppy dog groom well under her thumb. dangling fingers gently touch the soft dew born grass; I am relaxed too.
if you have not had this kind of gleaning education, I feel sorry for you.

Christmas does not have an X in it
Hark the herald angels sing
Rest ye Merry Gentlemen
I love this time of the year
Sadness pervades some though, remember that
Thoughtfulness and empathy go a long way
Mary and Joseph prevail at this time of year
Always remember the manger story and Jesus’ birth
Star in the East is something to remember
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year
Everyone does not feel it, so please approach cautiously
Love is always in fashion, God is love after all
Excited children are thrilled with holiday magic
Believers sometimes have tears in their eyes
Regale each other with Christmas stories of old
Attentive children sit at grandma’s knee
These are the best days for many, but not all
Empathetic people watch for each other’s emotions
Santa is not the reason for the season
Joy, peace, good will toward Men
Enthusiastically give your helping hands
Show others you care
Universal love and hope
Season for miracles
