Across the space of desolation,
enfolding the desert of existence
where instead of thornbush
the Holy Spirit grows juniper,
the journey in the labyrinth of torment
is to reach the oasis of bliss,
from where He calls to come to the waters.

I travel from the abyss of despair
on the blessed inward journey
through the layers of consciousness,
perceive the radiance of the divine beacon
in the sanctum of the devout soul,
illumining the corridor to the abode of peace.
The portals of the inner domain then open,
where for me God blooms the piety lotus,
suffused with the gleam of His grace.

Insightful of the benevolence of God,
my soul shines with ethereal radiance
like the flaring brilliance of a billion suns
in the infinite depth of the inner space.
In my self-searching spiritual odyssey
toward the edge of enlightened eternity,
I perceive His gracious support,
making me glow in the galaxy of acumen,
turning me into a living light.

Premium MemberSilent Glances

Jazzy nights filled with romance
                      and glassy dreams !
Buildings lit beneath a sleepy sky
             of smudge coal gray

His hand gently placed in mine,
a breath away from me
he sits,
sailor of my fantasies, ardor of my beating heart...

A sailboat retires for the night
on the dock over quiet waters
inside the cafe, music plays softly
                                    like sensual summer winds
He gifts me a smile,
                                       and stars appear,
                                sending light into mine !

Velvet time, layered moments
                 filled with enfolding bliss

                        We share one kiss !

Truth be told,
he is the soulmate I longed for all my life
I am lost in love's hammock,
                        rocked by his slow candor,
I feel loved, clothed in fleece...

Jazzy nights filled with perfume
                               and a budding slow romance
The saxophone plays on ....
we speaking softly to each other,
                               through silent glances.

In the opaque night across the space of silence,
enfolding the languid landscape of my existence,
bereft of the beguiled essence in indolent life,
my pathway meanders in the labyrinth of torment.

Trudging at the fringe of trying forbearance,
I hear listless the whispering wind of wisdom
tell me, this journey has no meaningful end.
I’m entangled in the nebulous mesh of ambiguity.

The ill-conceived venture of the errant mind
finds gloomy dead end in the introspection path.
That’s when the serpentine force opens the innate door,
releasing the feminine energy of yogic awareness.

My soul shines then with the ethereal radiance
in the infinite depth of the discernment space,
like the flaring brilliance of dormant tantric power,
flashing through the seven chakras of perception.

In my self-searching spiritual odyssey
toward the edge of the enlightened eternity,
I perceive the acuity centres configure consciousness
and turn it into living beacon, lighting my inner self.

Premium MemberMy Heart, Felled as a Tree

Deprived of your love I become a will-o-the-wisp,
a ghostlike entity, whose illumination has faded
with the echoing of your final word, "Goodbye."
Not a daunting wisp of the shimmering kind,
nor one to haunt or harm. Feel no alarm from me
for I am no longer whole, the woman I used to be.

Without your hand to hold, your lips to kiss,
your arms enfolding me close to your chest,
there would be no love to quell my need.
Desire would wither like a forsaken seed.
Felled, would be my heart as if it were a tree.
The brokenness of me would be conceded,
left alone to live with yearning and in misery.

My heart would die a little each day,
without hope of being resurrected.
Its beat would slow, severely impeded.
I would live in a grayling world on my own
where Winter winds would chill my bones.
I would stand on the edge of a frozen lake
contemplating inching my way to the middle,
knowing water flows there, swiftly to the sea.
A break in the ice would end my heartache
as I ride on the current like a felled tree.

Premium MemberDissolve

I am like a little seltzer pill.
Effervescent bubbles deep inside.
You are the liquid all around me, all around...
Uncovering the joy that I would hide.
I want to dissolve myself in you.
	I want to dissolve.
So, wrap yourself around me as my body fades away.
	I want to dissolve.

I am like the ice in wintertime.
Cold and hard and oh, so slippery.
You are the sun beaming down. beaming down.
Evaporating all of what is me.
I want to dissolve myself in you.
	I want to dissolve.
So, wrap yourself around me as my body fades away.
	I want to dissolve.

It must be so much more than love.
This desperate need to bare myself to you.
You are the Pacific all around my tiny shell.
Enfolding me with in your balmy blue.
And your saline eats away at my defenses.
Eroding all my carefully made fences.
	Watch me dissolve...

In the end I want to be a part of you.
Swimming, drifting all around your soul.
I want to soak up all I can of you
Until my empty spirit becomes full.
I want to dissolve myself in you.
	I want to dissolve.
So, wrap yourself around me as my body fades away.
	I want to dissolve.

Beneath Darkling Coverlets

Some flowers bloom well into twilight,
moonlight mesmerizes them,
leads them into dreams of distant dawns.

The velvet drapes of summer
do not offend them,
rather they entice
as they bathe
within deeply tidal lullabies.
Gently the blossoms succumb,
gentle is the soft enfolding.

A warmed and darkening air descends
to couple with the intimate scents
of floral favors, perfumes that linger
upon wafts of intimacy.
all hidden by sequestering shadows,
an efflorescence is shared
within a sanctuary of confidential pleasures,

raptures far from
the harsh dazzle of daylights
prying gaze.

The haze of the South

the warmth in the eyes
is how the mountain outlines
left in me, unspoken

by sunsets
by the ghosts of what never happened
the echoes measured the distance

still not having found a form, they wander
just like you and me
through our valleys

the saddened silence in me
I'll enshrine as an aftertaste
of the grape sun

look at who you are now, sweetheart
desperately enfolding me
with the warmth of the land of the Upper Rhine

Premium MemberAureate Dreams

Flood of anonymous agony
inundates the debris of hope,
weed-webbed wasteland
of receding reverie
erodes in delirium
within turbulent essence,
wreckage of life piles up,
            unlived,
transforms rapture garden
into winter badland
of foreboding discontent,
            perceived.

Future meadow waits
to be sauntered
            sanguine,
invents fantasy alchemy,
making magical gold
from ferrous aspirations,
gilding rusted crust
of weathering present,
           metamorphosed,
marigold ecstasy blooms
in the Midas-touched mind,
           mesmerized.

Wrapped by golden rays
of garnet sun,
setting sublime
beyond the content ocean,
entranced mind rolls
in twilight zone
on sapphire life waves,
            broken,
yearning psyche is drawn
within the anguish trough,
crashes on existential shore,
shaped by the shadow
of pearlescent past,
           petrified
in the collapsed sandcastle
on the beleaguered beach
of the stilled time,
enfolding the blanched grains
of aureate dreams,
          d i s i n t e g r a t e d…..

Premium MemberGoodnight Kisses

     At the tail-end of a drawn-out day, I feel
the gentle arms of Morpheus enfolding me.
I have not one but two
soft cheeks to kiss goodnight, first,
             my sleepy doe-eyed baby, then...
the big one clutching the little; my better half.

Black Colt Vesper

I lay my dark and spiraled finger
against pure and corded wildwood,
In the wailing current
of the rich wheels of wilderness,
Before the sonant vesper
of dreaming by a worshiping colt,
Shielded from sheaths of stone
by a tree marked in enfolding moss;
The flashing tongues of rolling air
in fluent, black, and breathing flesh,
Smoking in its morning cloak
of great, weaving draperies of fog:
Steeled ink, lashed still and damp
against the awning jaws of dawn.
And from the deep comes soaring
the melody of waters roaring,
Suspended in elephantine glory,
in masterly paintings of old quarry.

My love awakens me
with playful purrs,
with kitty licks
and padded paws --

we are never far
from our primitives,

to know the world by
touch, and God through
tactile mystery, replicating
senses till soaring --

Oh, one can philosophize
and theologize!
or one can cling to the
moment~ lips diving,
arms like vulture wings
enfolding, love’s cooing
triggering a salivating, primal
response – Coffee can wait!

We seek knowledge
on the outside --
the mind of science
the body of senses
spatial summations --

yet, truer beams lead always
home

rays of sunlight entering
permeating the physical, uniting
with like energy

with mind
with soul --

moonlight entrancing

romantic such relationship

spiritual enchantment

swirls of stars of galaxies

patterns of atoms our
basic expression-threads aligning
self to others – an unfolding
enfolding more greatly
aware, ever expanding
inward outward respiring
universe

both reflection
and substance

cords and vibrations

ship that travels through

while the embryonic that supports
cherishes
and nurtures all --

we are God entanglements

seeking greater expression

total consciousness

we awaken from dream

to dream further-out

Will, our Divine Grace and
luxury of infinite creation --

The Goddess Comes

The dark skirts of the night rise up,
dawn's ankles appear as pale as pearls.
Some have spoken of the Goddess,
hailed the coming of Her light.

Sometimes,
as the sun crests a yet unseen horizon
I feel her enfolding arms - sense
the perfume of Her early flowering.

Other's toss and turn fretfully,
but those who invite Her in
fall in love,
they lay still and self-empty,
allow Her
Her next moves.

Premium MemberTears of Joy

Tears of joy
Ran down her face
As she held her baby boy
In a tender embrace
Enfolding him with loving care
This moment wasn't one to share
A precious time to get to know
And teach this heaven-sent newborn
How to grow,
Into a strong and loving boy
Who made his Mother shed tears of joy

Premium MemberThe Function of Each Body Part

Cheeks were meant for kissing
Hands were meant for holding
Ears were meant for listening
Arms were meant for enfolding

Eyes were meant for ogling
Mouths were meant for stuffing
Hair was meant for brushing
Cheeks were meant for blushing

Minds were for manipulating
Knees were meant for kneeling
Bums were meant for bumming around
Thoughts for disagreeing

Feet were meant for walking
Palms were for reading the future
Toes were meant for counting
Common sense is for avoiding bloopers

Tongues were meant for wagging
Sores were meant for rubbing
Eyebrows were meant for raising
But hearts my very very good friends

Hearts were meant for loving
