Long Thin Blade of Weariness...
gloom of daze parries the long thin blade of weariness
metaphors adjust frequency matched patterns of
interwoven connectivity through mirrored meaning...
sameness, a variation of conformity, eventuates in
perennial lack for something notable to
be rendered as an attendant distraction...
corsets laced tightly although it be hidden...
armatures support long in the tooth masses of
wobbly flesh and bones devouring kindred signs of desire...
levied endowments of netting bespoken quietly
as their whispered confluence of thoughts,
still wet from their birth, makes for an interesting
Sunday brunch as served by some, received by others
halve to have not - who says who scrapes the salt
from the mines of harvested beingness?
who doth say anything at all?

Oh how I rue this deciduous time;
relentless in it’s passing year by year
while robbing memories we hold so dear,
and shedding yonker that was once our prime.
Through time we plod this monumental climb;
the cliffs of life we grapple fighting fear
while ever facing time’s relentless jeer
as youth is spent on chasing dreams sublime.
And yet we’ve heard it said that as we age
we gain more wisdom with each passing phase,
endowments mastered as life’s dream pursues.
But still with passing time the battles rage,
and loss of youth we shed as hopes abrase.
Deciduous time this aging poet rues.

The ocean of the almighty has swept me in,
Each battle of existence I easily win;
Needs of health, wealth, fame, fortune, and endowments met,
My life, like the rhythm of the cosmos, is set...!
I feel as though Buddha, the truly enlightened,
I enter a state of nirvana, unfrightened;
Likes and dislikes, like twigs in falls, are now withered,
Divine grace, like daily bread, per need, delivered...!
I seek him in truth; eat his body; drink his blood;
His life flows in me, like the waters of a flood;
I am meek and humble of heart to uphold him,
My joy, like a pitcher near wells, fills to the brim...!
His body was broken, and blood was shed; for me,
His grace makes me, here on earth, his kingdom to see;
There's no involution, but evolution now,
Christ is my life; in him I live; to him I bow...!

Flora and fauna of birds, beasts, microbes, soils, atmospheres,
Should only these contribute to the forest components?
Height and densities of trees and plants, and their thriving years...
Aren't silver, gold, diamonds, and gems woodland endowments?
Who cares much for herbs and shrubs where tiny insects abide?
Flies, bees, frogs, rodents, bats, and rats playfully hide and seek.
Ants, crickets, grasshoppers, centipedes, and millipedes hide
Behind grass, leaves, and mud to escape threats as they are weak.
With animals, vegetation, and evergreen landscapes
Air to breathe, food, medicines, wood, and fodder they provide
Forests reduce pollutants in air, water, sound, and space.
Protect humans from floods, droughts, soil erosion, and landslides.
Though like a student in primary school, I might recite
Abiding midst a forest is a venturous delight.

Crystal lures light like our lives conscious
Mortality sends a spectrum refracted
Other side rainbow radiates rambunctious
Eternally by ethics our arc's impacted
Physical excursion learns penultimate aim
Sheltering fellows primes soul fulfilled
Surreptitious assistance dismisses all fame
Caring colours granted greatest guild
Continued life after quick earth fraction
Thrives free of friction or ailments
Citizens immortal link a rainbow sanctum
Embrace death's ever endowments

"Precious water--the elixir of life,
yet we still its sources with blase' knife."
A town in the desert awaits rescue from thirst.
Water supply gone, result of a twenty-year drought
that's worsening
Gifts from nature are for us to revere
They have life spans and deserve our care
yet we abuse
Industry pours poison into streams, ending them.
Discarded plastics suffocate the oceans
Fresh air--words
Forests burning or drowning
Wildlife and sea creatures are dying
we're killing
Mother Nature gave hints; now she is yelling
We didn't listen when she told us
she was in peril
Her endowments will last forever, we tell ourselves
Start visualizing chasing tumbleweeds, languishing
in a cactus shade

Nature's Treasures
She sees their crowns had impressively grown
Taller than the obelisk now merely ancient stone
Deepest green like emeralds set on her mystic ring
Forever cognizant and nurtured by a life-giving spring
A gentle presence caresses leaves fervently breathing
Reaching toward heaven imbibing celestial blessing
Over her heart a talisman deciphers cryptic rune
Trees are endowments from beyond the moon
Without trees and grasses fostered by a star...
Planet Earth may inevitably mirror God of War!

I am a distant Island
At the far end of the land
You revere its cold breeze in the day
And long for its warmth at night
So far away, you could only imagine
You know its origin and its potential
As it knows yours
This Island thinks;
It thinks of you in the day, at night and every time between
And wants that of you too.
Engulf yourself in its awe
And long for it forever
A longing of Love
The sea beneath its feet
Thus sways its sands, its leg around
Its needs you with him
To help stand firm
Lest it’s exhume by the ocean
This sea is shy;
It is shy of your empathetic heart
It is shy of your conviction,
your radiant face, your endowments.
It knows not how not to offend you
Nor how to transpose love upon you
or how to please you.
Do come guide this island
For it needs you by its side to withstand the ocean currents
It needs you that you become another Island beside
That you create with him other Islands
And hold more firmly against the ocean
It needs you
That you help it
In obeying its Lord,
God,Allah
Together you enter the Eternal bliss
Of thine Lord Allah in Jannah.

WHISTLE!
In this very fraction of second
you showed me how you would end.
huh....! Am short of words
to tell what has happened!
With unpacked endowments
with unlived moments
With unpaid emolument
With undelivered love
Would you really leave
and Shut
just like that...?
Hope no, as you did my beloved Life
you know, We have to settle our strife,
and, with uncleared belief
how can I imagine such a grief!?
Ma Dear! I will await your whistle
before death's-eye twinkle
you know the nature of this jungle
the things that I need to handle,
Thus,
be it with bell or even a yell, just tell
beforehandly please whistle whistle.

Before the writing,
collecting memories
silent endowments
pages without lines
Before the writing,
I traveled a dreamer
imagining truant
what tomorrow defines
Before the writing,
the words clouded over
passing in bunches
like birds on the wing
Before the writing,
the wind was my compass
direction e’er changing
intention to sing
Before the writing,
my spirit a bachelor
no phrases to husband
no verses to wed
Before the writing,
immersed in tomorrow
my freedom untethered
—to go where it led

The calendar counts the weeks and months of COVID.
Yet, every pensive daybreak I am granted that for which I never asked.
Of course, suffering sickness and death tolls are endlessly morbid.
Still, my morning strolls find dazzling nooks where wonder is unmasked.
Plentiful pansies splash passion rainbows over meadowlands unrequited.
Common Windmill palm trees display fan palms like broad hands.
Neighborhood lawns spawn hankerings for cornucopias delighted.
Each new day contains unique complexions, signature ambient wavebands.
I am an animal of textures, but the relentless pandemic compels tactile chill.
By what right am I awarded these winsome private moments on each stroll?
Rain drums on the roof like an invocation, and I touch the palpable thrill.
Nature’s rhythms are carried on wings of monarchs and in the birth of a tadpole.
At last, I am not alone but connected to rugged bluffs and smooth beaches.
Finally, I realize without these endowments, existence would be impossible.
I am meant to discover all the simple prodigious self-ordering reaches.
In understanding them, I see no beginning or end, only that I am tangible.

I felt compelled to sniff the incoming
My passion is the light Aurora
The arrival brought such sorrow
If you warned me about Gomorrah
arise yonder son soul rise
rise up into the skies
show us your lights
brilliance and brights
Rise up
Dawn
I crave the desk dawning Dawn
Eagerly I look for the landing
Understood a polar Don
Of drips that are standing
Deep into the darkness dipping
I crave the ecliptic early endowments
I crave the light legacies l i c e n t i o u s n e s s
I crave the drippings dust darkness rent
And Humanity never slighten
Arise yonder sun so rise
Rise up into the
Skies show us your lights
Brilliant bright
Rise up
Dawn
The lonely licentiousness launching
Wandering now? Now I crave the dusk dawning dystopia gone
Rise up dawn
