We don’t talk anymore,
We don’t meet anywhere,
Blocked from every screen,
Like we were never there.
I burned all the pictures,
Deleted your number too,
Buried every single memory,
That reminded me of you.
The tears have now dried up,
No more crying in the dark,
Between the two of us,
There is left no single spark.
Almost nothing remains,
We are worlds apart, it’s true...Yet,
what kind of love is this?
It just refuses to fade out of view.
Loving you from miles away,
A missing piece of life today.
A ripped-out page that none can sew,
Save for the only hand I knew.
Yet waiting is a blessing told,
To heal the page and shape the mold.
This quest for you will never cease,
Till present moments bring us peace.
the endless ocean
with rippling and foaming waves
simply glides and sways
Life is a journey through darkness.
It contains many lessons and challenges,
Where mornings can be difficult.
We do not eat fish every day;
We often spend hungry nights.
We want education but have no money,
Yet we ask for the things the rich possess.
They do not understand our poverty,
Which today resembles slavery.
We dream of touching wealth,
As if birds could kill lions.
In our dreams we enjoy life,
Building beautiful houses,
As if owls worked during the day.
Then we wake up and see nothing,
Thinking that robbers have come
And stolen our yellow flowers.
Heartache has become a habit,
Filled with endless worrying thoughts.
Horses are nowhere to be seen;
We are forced to walk all day,
Sleeping on riverbanks,
Like broken horses
Haunted by evil,
Which ruins their entire lives.
It keeps on going as according to some plan
Till all the burning questions turn to embers
Days drag on by like endless caravans
I’ve heard my name is on the list of members
I’ve tried some fortune, like the others do
My income couldn’t cover all expenses
Required paperwork got me subdued
So little privacy was left for recompenses
The time I spent was my invisible co-writer
Of what I meant to say, and what I missed
The evening sun just for a moment burns bit brighter
No mystery unfolds, we've seen all this..
ENDLESS
Love is endless;
So is the healing she gives:
Healing her own pain.
I roam into a tunnel of ebon night
when stars crumble like grated ash,
the remnants of a heavy day fills
a bleak alley with rubble and debris--
Somehow, the howl of life grows
ghastly, creepy : stray dogs lapping piles
of left-over food in a garbage thick
with ravaged bones, while breezes
laugh at my emptiness mocking
time’s losses and farewells...I bleed
upon the fangs of anguish defying
this phantom within me that lurks, hollers
loud as I slip into the void
of endless black : my lungs cry,
while my knees tumble
on rough cement: and an old man
strums haunted notes from his stale corner…
an overture to a raw, insolent flight.
the irate alarm clock loudly beeps
springing him wide awake.
funny though, as time
continues to stand still
in the nothingness of twilight.
lying supine, he looks up at the ceiling,
caged in his dark and grim thoughts.
in the hush, an ocean of anxiety churns
in the pit of his stomach,
but it's all in his head.
meanwhile, dirty laundry sprawls across his bed.
the flicker of a moribund light
has burnt out between his eyelids.
stretched shadows pretend to be demons.
the conquered spirit...
tucks in its weather-beaten wings,
numb to the cold, dreadful uncertainty
that tomorrow brings. with each breath,
it feels like a slow, mundane death
where hope is only a faint whisper.
Looking out my ever-open front door
as the closing day slowly dies
the sun bleeding iridescent colours
across endless turning skies
as I live and breathe
so you won't forget
I'll draw back the curtains
before fading into the sunset
and yet
leave something behind
to illuminate the room
remind those who follow
and dispel any gloom
as the sooner the better
now would be opportune
to shine a light
my words please mark,
to you I say,
“When it's dark
out there,
know what's watt, don't shirk,
put your hands in the air,
for many hands make light work.”
Deep within the twinkling
clouds lies Toylandia, a
magical island where toys
come alive.
Teddy bears wear tiny
golden crowns and dance
with beautiful, glittering fairy
dolls.
Toy trains chug along tracks
made of rainbow strawberry
licorice, blowing bubbles into
the blueberry sky.
Every morning, colorful
plastic blocks build
themselves into magnificent,
soaring castles.
Friendly dinosaur toys gently
carry smiling children across
rivers of sweet chocolate milk.
The trees are made of green
cotton candy, sprouting shiny
marbles and bouncy balls.
At night, soft wind- up music
boxes play a gentle, soothing
lullaby to the stars.
No batteries are ever needed
here, for pure imagination
powers the whole land.
The toys gather around a
warm campfire, sharing
happy stories and eating
marshmallow clouds.
It is a wonderful place of
endless playtime, where the
fun never, ever stops.
Tunnels cut through a mountain chain,
an unending chain,
a chain that binds;
that twists and turns on itself again,
delivering pain
and darkness that blinds.
At the end of each there is a hope,
a ray of light to which you grope.
When you reach it at tunnel’s end
the next begins as if to portend
the coming of others, unending nights.
The mouth of one the other bites.
As you slip into this endless void
you turn right back trying to avoid
the pitch of blackness and faster than fast,
your wheels turn and pistons thrust,
until the image of the turning wheel
first slows down and then stands still.
It starts again, but spinning back
taking you deeper into the black.
Your whole life becomes this blur,
past, present, future become a slur
and the yearn for eternal rest
becomes a fantasy, a dream at best.
Tunnels cut through a mountain chain,
an unending chain,
a chain that binds,
that twists and turns through another plain
through the living brain
of unsound minds.
The shattered glass on the wall shows a crooked reflection of the soul I once had,
That child smiles at me as if she can't see the life ahead- no time limit to her joy, no suffering in sight,
Bloodstained shadows envelop me, like the embrace of a home I've never been to.
I never thought i'd have to bid valediction to a memory i'd fabricated- but when you've been isolated in your realm and burdened by your creation, that child's light begins to fade...
The helmet on my head is forged from divine carcass: the spine of an unfortunate challenger.
My crown is my armour, my symbols of office, I can't risk my throne or my realm or my mind.
My sanity is spent but reality is bent to my bidding: I can't crack the facade if the illusion is the truth.
The tasks never finish
From the beginning to end
Do this do that
The do it again
Just to fill the time
From school to home
The tasks flow
Like water from the river
Into the ocean
Resting on the edge of the raging sea,
He comes to me reaching past the fear,
Just to seek the passion I hide,
Strong with the force of nature in his hands,
Comes the release of a thousand lifetimes,
Stifling my raw emotion with just the touch of his hand,
Resisting him seems to be useless for his passion
Tears into my soul,
Like the angry sea crashing upon the seashore,
As i lay awaiting his return,
The gentleness of his touch takes my spirit
For a sweet ride,
Heavenly lifting me into realms unknown,
Swiftly I hunger for his kiss and his tender embrace,
Endlessly searching his eyes for compassion,
Only to find the innocence of his young soul,
Gently believeing love could conquerer all,
Still cautiously taking in every ounce of my passion,
With each breath escaping from his tender lips,
Draws my senses into the abyss of surging pleasure,
My secret desire come to me quickly and relieve this
undying hunger to have every part of you with me....
Love has no time, it is free and can move freely without worrying about time.
Love has no limit, it can grow and flow, like the wind it can blow anywhere and anytime.
Love is like the river flowing through the mountain, it can take any path it wants.
Love is like energy, it has a power that makes us all jump with glee.
Love is so fun it makes us feel like we need it to survive on.
Love will find us all, we will find all the things that make us feel swell.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.
