We don't sing, 'Rain, rain, go away; please come back another day'.
Where I live, rain is always expected to come, but is never 'a given'.
If rain is to 'stand up and deliver', we must pray to God for it.
In September, I said goodbye to the rain that never came.
I know, to some, that might cast the sound of strange words.
I tell you, droughts can do strange things to the mind of men.
Summer rain that never came never realized our heated strains.
All the same though, our hope for next summer's rain remains.
In October, the Easterners are proactively engaged for hurricanes.
In November, we'll appreciate the blessings that outweigh all the pains.
In December, we'll celebrate the greatest gift ever given to mankind.
We'll pause to recall happy times with dolls, play guns, choo choo trains.

Women and children muddle through debris
Scouring the rubble for possessions lost
War-torn Middle Easterners might agree
That there is nothing worth this cost
So many children will not have beds tonight
Because nations believe might makes right

The end of September and they got snow in Calgary
Hang on, thought Calgary was Utopia starting with a “C”
All you easterners
Or should I say, nerds
Those who thought it was utopia were rudely mistaken, SEE!
Since the 90s my teachers
taught me, gave me the tools
since then, I've learned
Tibetan Buddhists have no rules
Some Karmic life-changing practices:
Tame my ego
Place others first
Give unconditionally
All this thinking is intertwined
can't be separated, you will find
Karma's much more I've found
than "what goes around comes around"
Karmic consequence means higher rebirth
notice the Buddha, he's touching the earth
grounded intention to do the right thing
is the way to liberation good acts bring
Westerners think individuals breed success
easterners foster Karma "loving kindness"
dissolve the ego, meditate, look within
you end up "awake" but it's tough to begin
My life has been changed in every which way
living Buddhist principles through each day
if you could choose a practice to possess
it might well be Karmic Kindness
Get ready for the fireworks
they're coming from outside
South of border? Middle East?
Obama prints a guide
An easy living handbook
tells everything that's free
All the tricks to scam us all
just take what you can see
Free Medical and cash advance
your Bridge card's coming soon
Sign you up, so you can vote
they promise you the "Moon"
Teach you how a protest works
you'll learn about unrest
How to "feel offended fast"
Obamas favorite test
Screaming "civil rights are gone"
the Cops aren't on your side?
He's pounding that into their heads
and doing it with pride
The image of a Socialist
yet he has lots of cash
Telling you why you are poor
and why they think you're trash
He'll pit the Middle Easterners
to those that will not work
Then blend in all Un-documented
and treat you like a jerk
He'll tell them friction's surely caused
those not paying their fair share
Divide us more and show the world
that he really doesn't care.
