Dreading Lunch Duty
I could call in sick except I don’t.
It is only nine more days until summer break.
And I am taking Friday off.
That is only two days from now.
I keep thinking I could leave early.
Because the worst part of my day is coming up.
I watch the clock.
Forty-one minutes until lunch duty.
The dreaded, horrible, awful, terrible, lunch duty.

Dreading My Return To Work
I was dreading my return to work. There would be a multitude of questions
especially by that sod, Riley. He and I had never gotten along; he was too weird. Death was desolating but an untimely death at the hands of a murderer seemed somehow a tiny bit worse.
I realized with a heartfelt pang that I

The buoyant glide of milder waves
Is tamed, as siren’s drawl allures,
That even ravaged ghost behaves
While steering me by the coast,

Dreading the Dawn
This long night has to pass,
while the fate of morning still unseen
dreading the dawn,the fear struck
but still hoping somethig might change..
few hours of blood and tears,
counting my breath with utmost fear,
with this unfair judgement of lord,
still facing the truth, which is not..
taking the guilt of other's sins,
unravelling the rhymes of my own past,
still anticipating somethig
