DOWN MY WINDOW PANE
flood rivers ,of incessant rain
The wind is whispering Wisshkobi Ode,
I hear the drums beat, beating in my head;
as above the wise grandfathers still tread.

Podium Place 1
Amidst the field of seeding grass,carefree;
Lush clover scents the nectar seeking bee.
The American created by Adelaide Crapsey
re-post inspired by Constance contest
We,like annual flowers,fade,then die
As clouds evaporate up in the sky.
(American Doublet) the unique couplet form createdby Adelaide Crapsey ,th American poet who also created her unique version of the cinquain.
A HAIBUN Doublet
A HAIBUN DOUBLET
An empty space,filled by light brings simplicity to life,the empty heart,fills with pain,
cries out why,again,again,and still the emptiness remains;Simplicity forgotten
in complexity will drown,darkness overwhelms the mind,despair see nought,with eyes blind;light fills up the empty space and illumes the vacant place,hope blots out disappointment as my emptiness relents.
Within the soul of my experience unconscious seeds of tomorrow's joy, awaiting the warmth of encouragement lay dormant,seeking inspiration's light; Times,past,times present,amalgams of verse Unshaped,until imagination's birth,burst from the spring of my maturity
spring rain today
how green my memories-
ah I live again
Singularity brings forth clarity
on which imagination then flies free.
You may hear me recite this haibun and much of my PS anthology on youtube under my pen name ichthyschiro

flood rivers,of incessant rain
The pure expression of Art Nouveau signs
of whiplash curves in undulating lines

Amidst the field of seeding grass,carefree;
Lush clover scents the nectar seeking bee.
When desires meet and emotions convulse
Fixation unties that inner impulse.
