Clarification: Dg

Madam, you think you know
When knowing not you think no more
The surface speaks and shows
But the ignorance of those who come
By rules, or anxiety's sweet conceit
To find what they did not plant
But yet would reap from me.
Language is all our fault, the way
We borrow and use one another
Conforming to a simple drip
Of irrelevancy. I bring new meaning
Where sentence pause at broken lines
With unbroken multiply of new meanings
I bring fresh interpretations
To haggard images, metaphors are now
Conotations. You see, madam
You are superficial where I am
Full of respect for learned ignorance.

             ii
I beg you read more of me in better prose
That which, languishing, I contributed
On genre and aesthetics for rcher light
Two faces rubbing nose to nose
Have desires greater than a kiss
And yet can get nowhere without
Literally opening a literal door
To returned cathartisized
To the place their tongues went dry before
You too would naked come again
And shine the candle on a milked breast

Why am I thinking
Of ice cream melting like snow
On seas of our tongue

Thornbird Paradox (For Dg)

Tell my heart no humpty dumpty tale of love
For I have seen winter's deceit flowed like tears
And sit green where the grass was brown
As Methusalah's dream of heaven. So let me
Believe that one that bird nestless
Shall break out singing at the edge of my heart
So let me dream of love

Callous and cold I did not know
When first you came soft as rain upon the skin
How foolish I thought I was the dance
That make the clouds to melt their milk
Ah but the music still play, my love
And thornbird refuses to cry
Refuses to fly
Until you come again, until I live
For a man must live before he dies.

Then speak no more in silence what is true
Nor dance alone behind the fence of dream
I am awake where sleep longs to break through
And give that Midas all my broken screams
Shall gold be cold as ice evermore
Shall winter's milk not sail the barren tongue
The thornbird finds no trees on sandy shore
The song is phoenix ash in its lung

O let me touch the garment where virtue leaps
O let me one jolt of memory that love may keep
A song to sing to where virgins weep
The silence of the fusing flesh, the joy time reaps

Premium MemberDifferent--Repost For Dg

We look for acceptance in the things we do
We are all different in the way we perceive
I am who I am and so are you
We can live together if we believe

See that kid with the purple hair
He sure is different, can't you tell
If we can't accept him and show we care
Then we are the one's who should rot in hell

See that girl, she's only fourteen
Pregnant already, for goodness sake
If we don't love her and we treat her mean
We will lie in the bed we make

See that girl with the dragon tattoo
She sure s different, isn't she
When she gets put down, she feels blue
So I guess she's a lot like you and me

Children all should know their worth
They should all have their own dream
Each one is different from the day of birth
Each will struggle with their self-esteem

Too many times we look but do not see
We instill a sense of fear
They are different than we would have them be
So we listen but we do not hear.
