Why am I thinking
Of ice cream melting like snow
On seas of our tongue

Catie, even in jest you are an excellent reader, for the tongue is a concrete symbol of the voice, you have found a key ... now decode ice cream, snow and seas ... but remember things only melt when there is a temperature difference (so is there fire?). This is part of my experiment in less is more, and so using symbols I can with thin ice make eternity beneath our feet. The tribute is to DG because her Haiku suggested the less is more idea. Thanks for the reading

Deb will really get a kick out of this, David! And when I'm ready to spend a week at sea (have the money, that is), I'll be sure to let you know. It's truly my dream to live on the ocean. Thanks for your comments. Love, Carolyn
