A pen...
That bleed ink to den
That write to vault
Without any fault
Lend me a voice;
That echo without fear
To criticize the carrier head
Who we choose to lead
Lend me a mouth;
That speak harshly warmth
In the middle of storm and waves
Without the aim of fames
A pen that pour ink like fountain
A voice that gives ear hearing
A mouth that speaks aloud in maze
Who devote to lend me?
So many people go out of their way to help our fellow human beings
The people who work at our food banks volunteer their time behind the scenes
Our healthcare workers help to keep us alive
The scientists who find cures to diseases that will help us survive
The first responders who respond to drug overdoses or are out there fighting crime
People who clean up our beaches in their own free time
The courteous drivers who stop to allow you to enter the road
How about the people who just help out in the kitchen without being told
The adults who devote their time to coaching your children
Or how about the citizens who donate to help fill those charity boxes to the brim
So who is the big winner, I will let you decide
Go out and help someone out,it's a sense of pride
Ladies please take note
this is a massage for
the little man in the boat.
To whom so much of myself
I willingly devote.
I hope you understand,
the way you melt in my mouth
and not in my hand.
I am forever
your number one fan.
You spend more time
than any dentist,
looking down my throat.
And I have to admit,
I've always admired your boat.
From the first time
you taught me what to do.
We had fun like teenagers
skinny dipping in your canoe.
As I became the engine
to your motorboat,
you laugh whenever a hair
gets caught in my throat.
You say I'm doing it right
when I can't breath.
I thought it was funny
the first time I sneezed.
Shame me, hate me; throw me
down on the threshing floor.
Do what'ere needs to be
to hurt me to my core.
Throw me to the open sea,
Or shoo me out the door.
Make me pay a violent fee
Till my riches have no more.
Take my happiness and my glee.
Perhaps beat me till I'm sore.
Lock me up and throw the key;
And my wish for food, ignore
But i will never plea
to a cause i do abhor.
For from God's side I'll never flee
To the way I was before.
I always like having time to devote
Taking people for a ride in my boat
Up and down river we all will float
Should watch us and try to take note.
Alligator with sun screen could be seen
Form here to bridge, somewhere in between
While watching water flow through the reeds
Isn't it amazing how God fulfills our needs.
Saw some osprey high up in their nest
Brought food for young and they did digest
And in every song sang seemed to say
God has granted us another great day.
