The best is yet to come
Jesus has already won.

Usurping hand’s derailment
Detracts my scribblings too;

I lose lucid inspiration's glue.
Weirdest passions do this quill
Assail with craftiest forces still;
Turning minutes of finest Muse
Into dullest bouts the poet rues.

DRIVING ALONG THE ROADS
THE PATHS SEEMS WRONG
THE LOAD CARRY IT'S OWN
SELFISH AS CAN BE
DETOURED, ANOTHER ROAD
COMING THROUGH
GOT AWAY FROM YOU
SIGNS TO FOLLOW
STOP, YIELD, SLOW DOWN
MAKE IT TO TOWN
ROAD CLOSED
HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES
SLIPPERY PAVEMENTS
SELFISHNESS ENDED.

as a warm, New England Fall day.
The leaves were shining brighter
than the street post lamps at midnight.
I’m cruising along the highway.
