Determinism

If we have one letter to
claim as ours or that crucial of a thing
let we be prepared to go to war, yes war
the world already may have had it's own
which virgins are at the moment damn and joking
 and telling stories?,
ah!, let it not be that false sometimes lally claims
 of woohs! or Is!?.

The myth that human script is written by God,
Determines us, Indians, like magical rod;
Stunk as though by scorpions, we feel,
Venom-filled, yet, do not want to be healed...!

Everything will happen, as per script, we say,
Like kite by wind, flies and sways;
Whether we struggle or remain lethargic lot,
What is written only will be our jackpot...!

The rich think, they are so, by a merry script,
The poor think there write has no might;
Beggars think, nothing else they could be,
All live, as though trapped birds, never free…!

Thinkers try, in their way, to show right path,
Yet, reason, in many of us, is like stream in desert, lost;
Philosophies and theologies go hidden,
At the touch of fate like gold in coal mine...!

Wisdom and intelligence if not shake,
The roots of ignorance and blind faith…
True faith and discernment, if not walk hand in hand,
Life will have no triumph, in heaven or earth...!

Macadamia Determinism

'If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door'
                      Milton Berle

Outstretched clever Macadamia tree
Bears talents of both Mama and Papa
Fruit materialised due to insect interlopers
Dangled able honey hundred raceme

Languished beneath its branched limbs
Belonging to this land and each other
Our dream developed entity envelopes
Steadily relishing everything which comes

Impediments proffered excuses to resist
To remain staid, refrain from addendum

Instead choosing skyline over stagnation
Sacrifices made to subsume wider merits
Beholding splendour of shade waved bracts
Combined courage brought bountiful outcome

Prospect extends with each Summer harvest
Macadamia Mama Papa caretaker provides
Canopy which oversees posterity of centuries
Husk crack reveals creamiest tongue rolled gems

Atheist

I am acetylcholine
I am self-aware

I am norepinephrine
I am energy

I am serotonin
I am emotion

I am GABA
I am pain

I am dopamine
I am pleasure

I am an ancestral soup
Of neurochemical harmony

My steps are predetermined

There are no choices
There is no truth

Faith is superfluous
Hope is an illusion
Love is obviated

Determinism

I was born a thief
a liar
a fornication
an adulterer
a murder
a sinner
why, then, am I punish

Because you have a choice

Material Determinism

Are we just meat and butter
Dull slabs for the cutter
Do genes contol hiddenly?
Have we no power or free will
What science concludes
Is fed back to it on a loopy chain
