Such love that has imprisoned me to many hells,
Neglected nights navigate the pernicious smells…
With fiendish fury left flagitious and forsaken,
Amidst cold caves of ice the demons have awaken;
A virtuous vixen like a deceptive desired disciple,
An edacious Eve offering her appetizing apple…
I am enslaved and entombed upon loves lament,
Left to repellently rot within calamitous cement;
Relinquished ravaged ruins of my heart remain,
Parasitical palpitations penetrate pensive pain…
Derelict desertions devour the longing light,
Empty echoes decapitate within shunning sight;
Where slings and arrows cancerously conjugate,
And where stranded silent sorrows accumulate.

Life...
On the wake of a new morning...
With countless hopes ascending...
And endless dreams ever knocking...
In excitement of a new beginning...
By persuasions smoothly rolling...
Sometimes with courage unrelenting...
Other times terrible and despairing...
Into desertions of lights dimming...
Yet in irresistable stages unfolding...
Each at a time taking a leading...
Few a reality; many a daydreaming...
The others in hibernation, waiting...
Often with promises unbecoming...
When beaten to wounds unhealing...
Which by taunts of smiles disappearing...
Suddenly flashes like some lightning...
Such a one so terrific and blinding...
Quick at frightening anyone smiling...
But despite many threats rolling...
Some a tough folks keep on moving...
To the rhythm of victory-in-the-making...
As long as they live remembering...
That all that started has an ending...
For all is but living and adventuring...
Life.

All bow low unto Pharaoh,
Queen of all upper, and lower Egypt.
Hollowed halls echo thy name,
Nefertiti.
Cast red sails towards infinity's,
Swift currents.
Nile waters part steadily
Anubis guardian of the dead,
Receive thus living deity.
Let sacred alters burn bright,
Light sacrifices ashen embers,
In thine honers reverence.
Beneath desertions desert ruins,
Lies etched upon mortar's stone.
A royal tomb bearing her,
Majesties,
Unspoken name, Nefertiti.
Golden saddles press against,
Mortals realm,
Behold a phantom goddess,
Brushed ageless,
By times untarnished memory,
The pasted reveals truths,
Magnificence.
Through redemption's flame,
Two scepters crisis cross,
Within beauty's touch.
An ancient throne has,
Been reclaimed.
Raise great sphinx, from
Your sacred resting place,
Shake free fetters sandy mane,
Breath once again,
His might’s roar harold’s,
Her return.
Soft winds blow against,
Freedoms breeze,
Exposing a glittering figure,
Standing tall,
Beside the great monolith.
All bow low unto Pharaoh,
Queen of all upper, and lower
Egypt.
Hollowed halls echo thy name.
Nefertiti.

She's marrying again,
and the promises flying
when her lips were mine -
they're now dying.
I broke near all
'til she couldn't take
what I'd become, and left
in truth for my own sake.
Pain being an elusive thing,
beyond descript' or human speech,
yet only availed by human touch
was healing come within my reach.
I'd come to her so damaged,
a human deeply scored
by assertions and desertions;
she rose to hero accord.
I'd believed her presence part of me,
our lives entwined forever,
and in that life I did find healing.
And does love die? No. Never.

Pain, excruciating pain
Gripping spine, disabling
Till vigor and strength drain
Prayers you chant and Hymns sing
Hospital, Doctors, MRI’s and X-rays
Cash, Debit Cards, depleting bank account
Money vanishes, but pain stays
Nothing could misery surmount
Calves stiff, nerves sore
Walking with stick, still in pain
Whoever said, whoever swore
“Pleasure and pain are links of a chain”
Sad poems, heart-wrenching news
Failed love, desertions, betrayals
Pain intrudes with or without excuse
No distinction in paupers and royals
Pain is the destiny of man
It is a heartache or pain in spine
Man's birth is through pain and death from pain
Gripping like fog the life's sunshine
You wish and pray it goes
It cures, soothes nor heals
With time it grows and grows
Till death your life steals
