Premium MemberUncharted Rimas Dissolutas

Those lyrics in the key of sea
give me all of the Summer vibes.
Even when dearly departed,
you can feel sunshine singing.

A clear horizon, that palm tree,
that’s what the melody describes.
A warm night is how it started,
electrifed steel drums stinging.

That Vernal affair uncharted
lives on in the notes left ringing.

Premium MemberThe Hood

It's an area totally different from the rest
From the language to the people's style of dress
Kids young in age but wise with street smarts
Teens sagging and hanging out at liquor marts
Shoes on power lines showing various drug spots
Girls playing double dutch in empty car lots
Loud music blarring from a car with chrome rims
Men lifting weights in a yard turned into a gym
The smell of marijuana just as loud as cigarettes
Where colors worn communicates you with a set
Run down apartment buildings ran by slum lords
Where complaints are registered but go ignored
Businesses looking horrible due to graffiti
Where you always find bootleggers selling dvds
Everyone you meet goes by a strange nickname
Where the less fortunate ask for spare change
Well known people grew up with this background
So the hood isn't as horrible as it may sound
Its helps people to be grateful and to improvise
To get their education and to become wise
Not continuing the cycle but finding a way out
This describes hood life and what it's all about

One Word

One word which describes the reason for all the fighting in the world.
JUSTICE,
The bully feels justified in hitting the small man first.
And the small man finds it fitting to fight back for Justice.
Yes Injustice is the reason why...for all the fighting in the world today.

Hear ya Say ooh-lah la, lag lag lag la

A deceitful person is a awful character
Dare I say who
to which describes such a charter
who is this that
shares such traits
Spoken as evil and
In such a debates
Calm the shores
When clouds bring rain
She said she did it
If I am to believe such things
the lines are drawn with
a perfected mention
Stand down Bouis'
Stand at attention
Who is the ah-soothing figure
Said I am
Her man
Now who could figure
Made me centered
With her intentions
Ah-nasty woman
Might I mention
She knew me
She loved me
Like she wanted me
Had me going
Thought I could be
Her all and all
Her number one
Said she only wanted me
All in fun

I say ooh lah-lah lag lag lag
I say ooh ah-soothing lah lah-lah
One thang babies
I like this show and tell
Phat as you is
Got me under yo' spell
Hard as ah rock
Time to enter
Bang you out
Just for slender
Told me later
Baby coming
I acted all coy
Acted real dumb and
Told that lady
I was raised real simple
Altar kiss
On my lips or
Dimple
I say ah-ooh lag
Let me hear you say
Ooh lah-la-lalah
Hmmm ooh
Ooh we , we gone standing
All in love
We all romancin'
It's love when I say
Ooh la, lah-lah la lag!

Premium MemberA Different Love

Like deep questions in outer space,
Dwelling out there with troubling trails,
Her Depts are undetectable,
And questions abound.

Born in neither heaven nor hell,
She's more than a show and tell.
Reckless ruin better describes her,
An ever-consuming sinkhole.

If ever she enters your heart,
Forgive and bid her depart
Lest you be swallowed up
And filled with tombs of shame.

None should be tempted to descend
Into a black hole filled with pain and sin.
She's the cheating kind, that's not very kind.
It's a lonely place, starving for companionship.

It appears to be loving and harmless.
Pleasure and passion, yes; true love, not.
Black hole love is a deceptive romance
That must be avoided at all costs.

No title

A bond like ours is like a bud,
Innocent with no identity to mud or blood.
A bud is small and delicate,
It describes our bond as I dedicate.

A flower bud is fragile and vulnerable,
Giving our bond a name is unreliable.
A bud has full potential for growth,
So is our bond and must be nurtured by both.

Let's not rush our friendship to the unknown,
Rather let's allow it to be grown.
I do care about you, I do like you,
But it's not to the point where it turns into love.

The words you spew ,
Only you know if they are true.
I only asked for a good time,
And you gave me a dish of grime.

My tongue may be coarse,
I say words with no remorse .
I just want to know our course,
Because what we are doing looks like force.

God all the way

God all the way
I can’t explain how I survive
I can’t be so sure
When words describes how it happen
Cos all i do is who i am
Am not the best or the greatest
But am living my life
The rest is up to God
It been a journey worth it
The ups and downs
The good and ugly times
The bitter and sweet days
And more was worth passing through
I just can’t explain how am co-existing
Yet words are not enough to say
Thank you God

God all the way
Day after day i keep moving
I understand that there is life
In movement
So I never worry about the opinion
Of those that wish me
The evils that are not aline with my destiny
Am ready to accept what life offers
Am humble enough to be sensitive
Life can’t be always a promise land
So when I trade my ways
I never forget the protection of God
So again I tell you no lie
Words are not enough to say is
God all the way

Premium MemberBlood Is Thicker Than Water

Water describes a stranger while blood describes a family member
This statement has been around for as long as i can remember
When it comes to different situations why is this statement used
When the truth is when you're in need of help your family has refused
Family isn't the the blood it used to be because its been watered down
Its selfishness, lies and money bringing all families to the ground
There's constant argument and not getting along with one another
There's fighting over the inheritance of their almost dead mother
There's competing between siblings on who's better than who
What happen to sticking close together the way your mother has taught you
A proverb says friends are sticking closer than a brother
So really there is no such thing as blood being thicker than water.

Premium MemberEmotional Poet

I gave myself this name because it describes me well
I enjoy writing about my happiness and where I fail
Just by reading my poetry you're getting to know me
If I haven't introduced myself I go by the name Key
Keyonda is my full name although I don't like it
So I use either name depending who I'm talking with
I started writing poetry at the age of sixteen
Keeping me less stressed and balanced in between
An emotional person is constantly busy in the mind
Although on the outside everything seems just fine
Expressed emotions are better when written down
Emotions that are real gives them their unique sound.

REFLECT

Reflection
Describes how one is seen
Shows your opposite gene,
In the light of day, I see the smiles
Spreading around, bring it for a while.

Ends up, we all fake it, it seems
It was a reflection of what the world wanted to be seen
Interchangeable we grief
Leaving the past a mirror of our relief

With every step on this winding road,
I shed my burdens, I lighten the load.
Through valleys deep and mountains tall,
My heart beats louder, I dare to call.

All in all,
The one reflection was a darkened
recall to the unreal Yarkand
Far from all, I placed the mirror and
What lies ahead, a mystery veiled,
In fragile hopes, my heart is sailed.

With every beat, my heart reveals,
The essence of what deeply feels
With every turn, a lesson learned,
Embracing each flame, my spirit burned

Describes how one is seen
Shows your opposite gene,
In others’ eyes, a glimpse of me,
Together, we find what it means to be free.

All in all
The one reflection was a darker me

To all my children Trust only God our Creator

You cannot trust people and that is a fact!
To meet their own needs, they will stab you in your back.
We all are self-centered, each to some degree.
God's word says the only one to trust is Me!
Even the sweetest person can turn on a dime.
If you can catch them at the wrong day or time.
In Romans three-ten he says there's no righteous man.
Then in verse three-eleven, he says no one understands.
If the One who created us describes us this way.
Don't you think you should trust whatever He say?
The news confirms what He is saying is right.
Families betraying each other, road rage and street fights!
I'm not immune, I have done bad things too.
I've had people say " Ken, that just was not you!"
We all have a fallen nature and are prone to do wrong.
The good news there's forgiveness at our Father's throne.
Guilt hit's our conscious and it's a sign we've done bad.
Repentance restores us and again we are glad.
My children your dad loves you, all I know I must tell.
Obey or disobey God, means for us Heaven or Hell!
You are free to disregard me and all that I say.
But know you'll regret letting your pride rule you someday!
Love Dad.

civilian

civilian
thoughts and washed plates possibly?
that you own my country or an answer
of assembly and ranks i am unfile-able
above too cream, too polished for beams

an irish american from ireland
and i was saying
this is how we created allow you to learn
i a loud and happy
by bellows and bass
the inordinate coordinate reflex
of my speech is war confronted you, when
yes i am a military measure writer
that describes the universe you inhabit
i am under no obligation to the allegiance you die from
nor is description legal from me to you to use
only as a legitimate means not to condescend
how much power i wield
my influence over earth's fertile blanding
while time came about you all failed us.
we sought to instruct yet the civil war is you
i am general assembly, good day
plagiarism is attempting to earmark theft of my treasury notes

Premium MemberWarming The Winter Cold

Winter has such a blues effect
it's cold winds and frosty ice
even snow showers fill the air
daily forecast is a throw of the dice

This picture paints cold as blue
the colour scheme is icy cold
describes many a heart without feeling
been broken often, as has been told

Remember, summer will come
take these winter blues far away
let the sun shine u[on your face
sing these blues down the road way

Winter cold stops you from thinking
bringing a chilling sound to you inside
wisdom comes in that special moment
learn to win well against the tide

No matter the chill inside
outside is seemingly peculiarly warm
show your metal moving to gain
be inspired to climb your storm

Premium MemberA Better Man

Am I a better man today
Than yesterday? Who knows
Outwardly nobody can say
Inwardly there I was..
I was, this pretty much describes
Me in the present tense
I’m living in the past that dies
Within a plot I sense
It saves a better life for us
That’s where I belong
Isn't in something you may trust
Apart of life that's gone
Those days with darling love I keep
In files of memory
I never thought it goes that deep
Deeper than we can see.

Big Mouth

The mouth is the thing we find perfect
Finding things we call the subject
It’s really the mouth that finds our grace
The mouth that often points out disgrace
The mouth describes a particular taste
It knows each seasons put on it’s plate
The mouth decides what’s bitter and sweet
Take the poison or cure illness complete
It tells the truth or tells the lies
Tells of deception only seen by the eyes
It never keeps secrets on words it relys
It takes and gives and blows away flies
Lips may kiss teeth can bite
Silence show indifference
A shout become a fight
The mouth is a thing that gives us no clue
Eventually what will happen to me and you
