Jumper -Deux

90 Floors up.
Lazy just another day at work
But now is my time.
But together with her for lunch
No time to ask why.
My lovely dreamt of beautiful girl
From the blue sky a death.
Given time I will give her everything
Everything now but as dust.
Such dreams and plans I have for tomorrow

Dedicated to the lost in New York 2001

The Ballad of the Rabbit and the Fox

Come sing the ballad of the fox and the rabbit
A song so in the spirit of Christmas
It is a dark forest they inhabit
Hunger had made the fox ravenous
She trapped the rabbit in her snare
Her teeth bared she was about to spring
The rabbit knew the time was near
Just then from the starlit sky they heard a ting-a-ling
Snowflakes form Santa’s sledge fell on the fox
She heard the bells jingle and music flow
Behind the rabbit she saw the tiny gift box
And the burrow with fairy lights aglow
The sly fox slowly bowed her head
The Christmas spirit curbed her hunger
She let the rabbit go instead
And with happiness her heart grew younger
The predator turned saviour
And took the rabbit home
Her red coat shone with all the splendour
For the time to love and share had come

Cleanse Time......

Oh to cleanse time, a different life.
A life and time when all's true smile.

Oh to cleanse time, to cleanse the slate,
to go back to a time, before pain.

Oh to cleanse time when love was new,
the beginning’s so beautiful; memories
won’t leave you.

Oh to cleanse time when you knew
the true me and, I the true you.

Oh to cleanse time, before chemicals
addiction; oh reason to celebrate with
just smiles you re using.

Oh to cleanse time, when free not a,
dream. A time for life, a life's new
meaning.

My time being cleansed, a voice on
the line. A time to cleanse the lonely,
leave lonely behind.
Tess...

After All This Time of Being On My Own

After all this time of being on my own

I’ve been going through things

Over and over again in my mind

And I keep wondering

If there was anything
that I could’ve done

To prevent everything

From going so wrong

So that I could’ve turned
things back around

Because I thought you were the one

And that’s why I kept holding on

But after all this time

That has come and gone

I had to learn

How to get back up again

After falling down so many times

And hurting like I had been

But you know one thing that it has done

After getting through all the confusion

It has made me a stronger person

And if I do have to spend the rest of my life

Being on my own and all alone

Without anyone else around

I know in my mind that I’ll be just fine

Because at least I can say
that I was able to love someone

Completely and more deeply
then I had ever loved anyone

Recovery

...inspired by 'The Traveller' by W.H. Auden

The shadows from his younger days shake his resolve,
and make a mockery of time 'til time be lost
to moments of bewilderment, ne'er to evolve,
they bounce and bluster errantly, much to his cost.

Shades and silences, outbursts of ungoverned rage,
cruelty breeds rancor, e'en in the meek at heart,
kept and restricted, like a creature in a cage,
no literature for him, gentility or art.

Dissimulation, trickery and guile he plies
as tools to engineer his self-preservation,
he tells quaint versions of the truth, and bald-faced lies,
so's to avoid the whip and recrimination.

Childhood should be the nursery of hope and mirth,
not fear and perturbation, for the budding soul,
a testament to love, where supplicants may dwell;

not tyranny or willfulness, a wayward goal,
shun darkness, disillusionment from God's green earth,
cast demons, evildoers to the depths of hell!

Where modern Gladiators go to collide
Like solders in prison these warriors ride

Mono el mono this is how they believe
No smoking mirrors or tricks up their sleeve

Guillotine, arm bars and rear naked chokes
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu certainly isn’t no joke

Royce Gracie changed Mixed Martial Arts
“The Natural” Randy Couture, man what a heart!

Many men have risen and many have fell
To the powerful striking of Chuck Liddell

Ken Shamrock is a warrior who deserves his fame
At UFC 100 Mark Coleman proved he still has game

Big time wrestler Brock Lesnar proved he is no joke
As Anderson Silva continues making fools out of folk

Lyoto Machida is now a champion again
Along with the true Prodigy B.J. Penn

Who is my favorite fighter in the UFC
Without any doubt that would be GSP

From This To Then.

From the first time we met,
to the first time we touched.
From the first time we kissed,
to the first time we hugged.
From when you met my dad,
to when I met your mom.
From when you said "I love you",
to the first time I said "I love you too".
From when you first kneeled down,
to when I said I do.
From when we went on our honey moon
To when we came back home.
I realized I always have you,
just like you have me too.
I never want to let you go,
but I think that you should know.
I'll always be your trusted friend,
wife and much much more.
From when we first met,
to when we'll last be together
now and forever.....
