MOTHER OF MOUNTAINS

Oh mountain mother if I may,
put forth my praise of thee,
of noble strength, steadfast and true,
Your full beauty none can see.

Violently birthed by mother earth,
jutting up through the dirt and trees.
Stretching toward the sun and stars,
catching clouds upon the breeze.

Dinosaurs walked in the shadow
of your majestic purple face,
adorned with gleaming snow white locks,
foothills flow from your embrace.

Glacial ice cuting slowly deep,
it's lines expose your age.
Your regal peak, stern and steep,
like a brash old mother sage.

A universal femme fatale,
invoking art and reverie.
You can not be moved or conquered
nor captured by mere poetry.

Grand words praise your nobility,
songs strive your peaks to soar,
by mortal tongue, no justice done,
as your truth transcends all lore.

Cut the Pain Away

Here she goes again
Cuting away the pain
We see the scars inflicted in her body
Thinking she's crazy

We quick to criticize
Saying she's an emo in disguise
We call her names
Saying she's insane

We fail to see the pain in her eyse
Fail to realize
The reason why
She want to die

As the days go by
The cuts get deeper
Marks become more server
And death becomes near

You see her blood
Flowing like water
But wouldn't bother to help
Saying she's a attention seeker
To her Its Now or never
For her death is better

Cuting Off Your Arm

es1/29/11

Now that you've cut off your arm

and got everyone in such an alarm

we hope you don't loose sight

                                     that you probably weren't right

and now we are hoping you don't by the farm
