I can’t rid of the bags under my eyes
The crowfeet despise, all were lies,
Conjured was an illusion of you
Throughout my groping confusion
evasive, flimsy
A-m-o-r-p-h-i-c, innuendos
I was subjected to your derision
dissing me relentlessly
deriding my appearance,
disparaging my intellect
as I stumbled and fell into the abyss
Mocking doesn’t suit my countenance
My lips desert dry, thirsty, parched
An amazon no longer beats its drum
My buoyant nature now laden with coarsened shroud
Leaving a cardboard moon deprived of its shine
Stars like candles blown out one by one
No use waiting for the rising Sun
The end of world does come,
stopped spinning neath heavy ebon clouds
Expectations unreal
All zeal gone, listless is my spirit
along with my illumination
Now you see me
unmasked in raw anguish

jowls hang from endless
torment endured
like the drenched and cold, wounded hawk
taken flight, eagle-eyed, a warrioress
more determined and bold, traveling on
with unlimited range
and self-esteemed

SUNSET vs' SUNRISE
** Sunset **
The afterglow flame
Creeping under the cold creek
Daylight, gone again
** Soap Dish **
Daytime TV blues
Tune in tomorrows soap box
Dramatic, dusk wind
** Evening Star **
Tired sound waves
Waiting for eventfulness
Hour of the beast
** Atmospheric **
Phenomenon Light
Under the zodiacal night
Kisses and shivers
** Twilight **
Locked in my slumber
Vampire face awaken
Thirst like no other
** Sundown **
Aurora fading
What goes up, has to come down

Same Situation
Mentally agonizing;
Sunny side egg twist
~~ New Moon ~~
beautiful sun rays
Sun awaits for ebony
beautiful moonbeam
~~ Adjust the Setting ~~
Breathtaking sunrise
Beyond the horizon sky
Sherbert colored beach
~~ Skipping Rocks ~~
Glitter dusk on lids
Birds sing me a lullaby
Kids playing by lake
~~ Sunrise Industry ~~
Shining superstar
Golden streets with no stop sign
Lunch time draws nearer
by;p.d.
The trees were bare
Barren of their leaves
Droplets like tears
Hung from their arms
Blackened, their bark.
At their feet, snow
Soft, fresh white shimmer
A winter picture
There a wrapped figure
Walks slowly in the snow.
My door, he came to knock
Had spotted him go
Through the window
As in a dream
My heart felt no fear.
Though he looked weary
Had grown a beard
His eyes shone bright
Their crowfeet lines
Laughter filled, loving life.
Brought him by the fire
To shake the freeze
Off his hands and feet
A meal to warm his heart
His smile, my reward.
Told me many stories
Of his many travels
A key yet to unravel
Spoke to him of my dream
And we became a team.
Outside, no longer shunned
The sun melted all the snow
Revealing the green meadows
Snow bells began to bloom
Ringing in the Spring season.
