In sixty-five and half years been
Lock-in love with you again
And again, our marriage soft-land
Dreamland at times and times dryland
Those Valentines' gifts counterpoise
Disclose your feelings and expose
Your desire to not reinsure
Anymore your love for me, bore

Lips lustered with Venus-enchantment flirt as
Imagineer steers your swoon to the Moon on a love song..
Beyond oneness with another, the lover and artiste
Relishes color in counterpoise to white rising light, and so flows
Abstracts across a sunrise canvas to laud a treaty ‘tween night and day

Which path makes more sense
If choice is the reasonable poise?
No wonder then that you forfeit
The security that grounds and binds
For it may yet be good to risk
Such adversely vain consequences
For counterpoise yields balance
Beyond the scope of blind odyssey

Charcoal grey, silver grey, shading to white,
Changing and shifting,
Pewter grey, ashy grey, darkness then light,
Trailing and lifting.
A quiet avalanche of melting clouds
In horizontal fall,
Covering distant hill tops like a shroud
Or funeral pall.
Shapes form, reform, then float away
In careful counterpoise,
Then balance, hover, shift and sway,
There is no noise.
A sudden change, the wind picks up,
Disorder in the sky,
Which way to go at first unclear,
Then the clouds begin to fly.
Across the vast and open prairie skies
The clouds stampede,
Driven by wayward winds they fall and rise
At breakneck speed.
Such confidence we can never realise.
Here on the ground we hesitate and stumble.
They are in their element.

In culture of counterfeits
a snip of intelligent gene
brings the pink tears
for the brown eyes.
A virgin goes for a spade
in the naked sun.
Let me think of polymorphism.
Can there be an answer-
for oblique questions ?
Can this tottering frame live ?
Life can still stalk the death
and stand for the body in the sack ?
Fielding the enquiry about race –
gap, you said the walls
are crumbling. I read the message
half-believing.
As a whole, the glory lives.
Is that true ?

The gentle rain falls on
the emaciated Buddha.
Stand out from the controversy.
A foam-born goddess will
counterpoise the questions.
The grievers are sitting
in a circle for the dying moon.
The charred breast of earth
sends the flames.
Who has closed the window
of morning glory ? My blackened
words are traveling fast
to reach the stars. I am
held in a shadow.
