Scarlet heart, smile for me now or never
The thought of you brings me scarlet fever
Your red pigment reminds me of saccharine caress
Your orange tinge reminisces sour-sweet embrace
Your playful voice brings thundering rhapsody
Your luscious lips are like zones of fantasy
Your beauty is perpetually exquisite
Your daring look, only fools would resist

World
One
And all
Blessed and kind
Nature and souls bind
Clings, remain soft but not fragile
In God's hands, no strong marbles clutches the ground ductile
No boulders can silence the caves' echoes in the Cordillera of man's gifted lands
Seas and oceans combined, grounds drifting like blind, storms and clouds may rage over sands but floods cannot capsize arks of men as God and Love prevails.

as if the great expanse collapsed
eclipsing hearthstones
amid the cordillera
where sun begins to beg
her true name
life stops alongside the eucalyptus
and the words warm
dripping honey to the south
shadows dance
and straight below we stand
just letting go
past particles
in the winds of time
in the tropic of us
we thrust our faith, our knowledge
our fortune and fortitudes
character, a dying breed
in need
moments held close
mouthed in mystery
we lick the solemm soul of the earth
before we soar
to destiny and destinations set free

Here I am again hiking near a mountaintop
as the aroma of hibiscus reminds me
of my charmed youth, of a serenity the winds
cannot contain. As I reach its mid- peak,
my breath spills of gratitude, gently affirmed.
It didn't matter if maple trees were older now
perhaps, rustling hems of boughs
or if the mossy ferns gathered like cracked
thistles on a late afternoon.
I was bathed with soft of light beyond
the ridges inhaling the serene madness
of a nature-pilgrim... as if the moment
stretched into a dance of family trails.
I wander on… and now, my sweet memory retains
a journey of girlhood days: on Mt.Cordillera,
the fullness of my spring lips, my summer cheeks
embrace a rapture I am unable to touch
or cuddle in my arms.
While gazing at how new starlight emit its beauty;
all I know is on this angelic evening’s bliss…
I become a child of eight again.
