Ballistics of Political Regime

My vision is hidden beneath your eyelids,
don't you feel the weight, the meaning.
Clearly, we belong, we both are strong,
it won't be long before we crumble.
But our fight still stands, in our demands.
There is true fire fed by furious desire,
beliefs on steroids and will to kill.

Prewritten patriotic-religious,
consequential and potential surrender,
of mind and sadistic ballistics of our political,
regime will fall, covered in our sweat and,
guts, and our win will forever be red-
if you know what I mean, follow my lead!!

So-brothers and sisters, our plans are clear,
and nothing short of boisterous, our,
actions will be prosperous, our voices heard.

Our true intentions will suffocate those,
who affiliate against the truth, our history,
will once again rebuild our working class,
which will stand tall against the machines of war.

Consequential Prez

Trump says, Consequential Prez gets shot at,
Might e’en say, beauties ‘lone molested get!
Checked, if he felt all fine,
Found, bitter than quinine--
A kind who e’en when clean-bowled, yells ‘how’s that’.

Poet’s note: There was a second unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Trump. Luckily safe, he was quick to turn the incident unto some kind of bragging points in his favour. Yet perhaps only an inconsequential man loves to project him as consequential.

Poem I wrote at the beginning of the school year

We all bathe here in the leaking fluid of the school's belly,
unconcerned by the world, because as far as we're concerned,
the only thing that matters are the results for a test.

Art is dying
because we are forced to hinder our creativity.
All we are left with when the seven hours are up
are impressions of our former selves.
Works of art that this world can change and indoctrinate.

Life implodes in the palm of my hand
because nothing is essential
or consequential
when you imprison it in a grade book.

I miss the days
when word and pictures would flow forth
and my mind was free to rest
instead of worrying when the day may come
that I would need to put the lock-down drills into practice.

Life With Pain

I live with pain every day of my life
Silently praying and smiling throughout,
And cry myself to sleep every night.

How quaint I may appear, but without spite
And `rise to labour day in and day out
I live in pain every day of my life.

I hurt tearfully without reprieve in sight
And struggle the dressing and undressing bout
And cry myself to sleep every night.

Trite games people engage in with delight
And disavow all consequential rout
I live in pain every day of my life.

I resigned to fate and accept the blight
And cannot undo that which has been brought
And cry myself to sleep every night.

Healthy people expose spirits contrite
When they see my predicament and flout
I live with pain every day of my life
And cry myself to sleep every night.

Geology, the science of the earth,
elucidates the intricacies of
creation of continents and opening of oceans,
explores the complex framework
of the multilayered deep interior,
and unravels the enigmatic structure
of the mighty mountains,
deciphers from the fossils,
the evolutionary trends of life.
The arcane aspects of earth’s ancient architecture,
imprinted in the petrified rock strata,
enunciate the 4.5 billion year history of the planet.

My expertise as a geologist
lies in the study of rock structures,
that ascertain the deformation pattern,
consequential to the interplay of tectonic forces,
drifting the evolving continents,
forming the changing montage of mountain chains,
like the old Caledonia and the young Himalaya,
and creating earthquake-causing seismic faults,
like in the Saint Andreas and in the Anatolia.

A piece of rock is not just
a chunk of ordinary stale stone to me,
the lattice of the entwined minerals
enumerates the lyrical anecdote
of the eventful eons of the earth,
motivates me with poetic passion,
as I unfold the mysteries of the blue planet.

A hectic stare across the cliff,
grabs my prying mindfulness.
but yet I hanker after urban fare,
such ruptured loyalty alas,
has a solid grip as I inhale,
the rampant toxic seaweed odor,
for which release a bland choice,
as bulging dark gray torrents,
remind us of some threat,
a fancy name as birthmark,
blemish, or craven riddle,
consequential strain I fear,
might alter this delay,
how city haven slant,
bustle, blast, benign graft,
has fallout clearly vetted,
sink block, suction pump,
remedial quick brush off,
two rocky worlds aside,
where common ground,
that less distinct blight,
consuming blind thought,
downpour on the crevice,
outskirt mere sideshow,
flight a gut reaction say,
let valor plot or plod,
whatever barren sabotage,
malaise, daft wanton dash,
each muddled exit’s close loop,
one must master by right,
ominous veil now pending,
scatter brained inkling wrought,
lure, allure, attachment beckons,
departure problematic when pressed,
bursts of rain, bursts of sound,
seeking shelter but clueless,
would things be otherwise,
in large built up areas,
I ponder this dilemma,
while dreaming of fair vales,
or mystic laneways of yore

A Rational Man

The brain-washed also washed.
‘Settled science’ led him forward confidently
into a simulated life.

It was while listening to the talking heads,
pundits, and cognoscenti
that he was struck by a miniscule,
yet consequential doubt.

Dismayed, he sensed
the props of his borrowed knowledge
begin to shred and peel away.
Eventually, his entire belief system
faltered,
friends hearing of this heresy
deserted him.

He wandered into a forest
where every tree was different
in its own peculiar way,
Both order and chaos
seemed to be
but one cohesive happening.

Legend has it
he deliberately lost his way
in order to find out
what had been overlooked by so many.
He is still looking.

Been a Little Inconsequential Lately Touche

Been a little
Seen a little
Dreamed a little
Cradled a little
Cried a little
Loved a little
Lost a little
Been bitten a little
Bought a little
Sold very little
Been happy a little
Been sad a little
Felt pain a little
Joy a little
Been belittled

But rarely of late
Say
Little meaningful
Or
Nothing little

Consequential at all

When little matters
Most of all

Words Over Words

We had words over words.
Though this saddens some
I find myself encouraged,
more hopeful for the future.

We had words over words
instead of rocks over words
or bullets over words
or bombs bursting over words.

The bruising of an ego
is less consequential
than the loss of a limb
or the loss of a life.

We had words over words,
we will live to write another day.

Amendable Stake of Life Back In School

Schooling life- a main pursuit to learn,
Is surrounded by various impairments:
As much as catching fun-fill cruises, spurn!

Easier said than done- taking the right turn;
Good enough to measure apt adjustments,
Schooling life- a main pursuit to learn.

Goals avoid suffering consequential burn;
Been on phone longer than reading confronts-
As much as catching fun-fill cruises, spurn!

Aims widen scopes to balance grades concern
"Phone-'let there be light;' book- darkness affronts"
Schooling life- a main pursuit to learn.

Objectives object what football games yearn,
Both on field and view centre attachments,
As much as catching fun-fill cruises, spurn!

Late night matches during exams, pattern
Crying-read sleepy eyes' grace advancements...
Schooling life-a main pursuit to learn,
As much as catching fun-fill cruises, spurn!

Assumptions

There are certain deleterious effects
consequential developments and
conditional signs and symptoms
of being called-out, named, accused, or branded
of being, ever so slightly, a poet.

People may assume you live s cloistered, retiring,
purely academic existence, sipping only the rarified air
of your meditative being. Or

they might label you and your ephemeral art
as the drunken babble of an incoherent street poet. And

sometimes this is indeed a fact in all the case scenario's
here-for-to mentioned above, however in actuality,
though you perhaps might wax philosophical
on rare occasions, for instance when you opine
upon the mysterious disappearance of one matching
sock of any given pair of once matching socks,

however, in the main you are just a guy or gal
sitting with a laptop perched precariously on your belly,
trying to sound a whole lot brighter, more whimsical
and interesting than you really are.
