Premium Member Words of Encouragement

Words of Encouragement

Sometimes you need this from the ones you admire most
The best compliments are from those who are close
High fives can't be given by someone with a closed fist
Commending others isn't something you should resist
Receiving it is like that boost of energy that keep you going
Its a warm sweater when winds of discouragement start blowing
We would never know what a couple of words can do
One day you might need those same words to be used on you
Motivation gives everyone a reason to strive harder or start new
So always give others that extra push with a few lines or two

A Commendation of September Light

Hymnals of light in the autumnal woods
shafts of sunlight
printing prayers on every shadowed trunk.
Only September has this light,
October will come with a witches broom,
a stiff switch to scour and scythe,
that light will be a death song
one sung by ancient and native winds.
For now, maybe just for this day,
the woodland acres glow
they seem to tremble slightly
as a gentile sunlight
ushers in last rites and blessings.

Gentle Sway By the Centre

Gentle sway by the centre

The bell tolls for thee
Most Gracious servant
bearing thou to thy deserved rest
And as thou art earthly borne by men of the sea
our prayers that flights of angels
have now carrieth thee to the merciful throne
of our heavenly Father,
through him who hast shown
the Way, the Truth and the Life
Where we commend thy eternal soul –
forgiven, pardoned and received –
to the tabernacle of light prepared for thee
Wither thou goest
may we attain the same gracious gift
when we are callest to lie upon the catafalque
and are escorted to our place of rest.

Premium Member Commendation To a Faithful Servant

Shining with Christ’s calmness
In his faithful stewardship by God’s grace…
Rejoicing is Sir Rey, always grateful to the Lord.

Rendering his best service to the Master
Endeavoring to please Him with faith…
Yielded is Tatay Rey, submitting his all cheerfully.

Championing truth of God’s Word
Assertive is Preacher Rey in declaring the Gospel*
Loving the Saviour is his delight
Moved along his prayer-devotion’s fervor
Affirming his commitment, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

*Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

"A very blessed birthday to Rev. Rey Calma: Tatay, Preacher, Area Leader, Servant of the Lord"

Commendation

Again from the shadows
Rises that scoundrel
Riding on envy
Armed with naked cynics
Dedicated not to betray
The Lord of hatred
For he is ordered
To scoff the adore
Yet he is unsure
About the shine that still hold
Eternal is the nature’s mystery
What comes in its way, becomes history.
