It’s been 10 years since you last saw me.
I’m softer. Matured. Unrecognizable. And yet 
the feeling of your roaming eyes still darkens my skin,
the phantom sensations making me retch.
Your vile intentions occupy a corner of my brain
with no sign of conceding territory.
I can’t go to the doctor
lest that hotel room comes rushing back

Those that sow unrest, within the people's breast; bones of contention'
Sedition, false invention. Subversion seeping ; lost leaders no connection.'
The running sore of bribery; the massaging of anxiety division in society

That steals away my humanity, my comparisons

We were both boozed up
I stumbled on your lap. 
Is the memory still clear?

Visible marks and entangled feet--
We were both consumed by fire
Ablazed by the need-- urges and desire--
Is the memory still there?
