When Noise Suddenly Kept Quiet

He always kept on talking.
In a loud voice, he let listeners
mark his sword of words.
With a scream, he painted
the dream’s delight and colors
in the plateau.
He ranted when the daybreak
gradually dawned.
He gladly viewed in the air
the energetic flap of nurtured
trust and answer.
Until the strong current pursued
and forcibly silenced him,
the murmur of waterfall
and the giant cascade investigated him,
the flying sharp splash shouted at him.
The fierce eyes stopped him,
the castigating claws and furious fangs
in the woods rebuked him.
Only then he uttered no sound.
Only then the deafening hush roared
like a mute thunder.
Serenity with sincerity.
Tranquility with deep
wisdom and policy.

A Word With My Soul

So vivacious you are,
Purifying and invigorating,
Changing, becoming bewildered,
With despondent moods perplexing.

Stimulation to cry, urging sadness,
A misunderstanding with confusion,
Encircling the shattered body where you exist,
Manipulated by evil deeds and illusion.

Residing closely within me,
It was not in my ear you breathed,
Only into the heart, you whispered,
Where a dagger became sheathed.

Mingling inside me yearning for more,
Constantly plunging into my weakness,
Without words or communication,
Only to compassion in the bleakness.

My God has an unspeakable truth,
Rooted within the depths of emotions,
Castigating me into a false living,
With a soul so stubborn and ferocious.

Premium MemberThe Simplest of Thank-You's

Can I thank you in passing for helping 'me'
for easing 'my way' into the Presidency

                    *******
Bush Jr. might have thanked Clinton for an economy
that produced a budget surplus, amazingly

But he focused on his own alleged decency
  deriding his predecessor's public immorality

Mr. Obama didn't thank Mr. Bush for his fight against terror
instead castigating George W. for his economic errors

And Mr Trump declined to give Mr. Obama his due
for steady job growth, a comeback in stock prices too

Now Mr. Biden touts his own 'magnificent job' on vaccinations
ignoring Mr. Trump's Operation Warp Speed, the true causation

                    *******
The elites lecture us: We have to be more civil, more polite
When the simplest of thank-you's they can't even get right

Bird Gone Cold

How bad I feel when the glass fell?
Accompanying my chattering heart is the loud clatter
Piercing through my heart is your cold silence
Reasons for which I can't phantom

You deprive me your smile
You deny me your pretty face.

As I watch a one time smiley turn a 'frownie'
A one time kitty turn a fierce cat
Just like the shore sand,
Your smile washes away,
Just like the dark night
A frown still across your face

Smile for me please,
For in your smile
Is embedded a ray of hope
In your pretty face
I see a beautiful picture
Of a lady with a future.

I am not immune to begin wrong
But I had options I couldn't choose from
Sing for me, bird sing!
Same me from this 'self castigating'
Let your name manifest itself tonight
And let me meet joy.

Upon Somber Gallows Stands The Condemned

Upon somber gallows stands the condemned,
anxious crowd slobbering for his demise.
Preacher and faithful begin bible hymn
concerning fools not clever, swift or wise.

There dancing spirits castigating him,
this lone, dejected and now shaking thief.
His dark, haunting past now so very dim
bereft of all hope and steeped in deep grief.

Beelzebub stands there with wicked grin,
to welcome home the coming of the fruits.
His harvest dark and heaped over in sin,
crowd crying loud to see his swinging boots!

Soon darkness will bring on its last release,
as stiff rope snaps into a sudden drop.
Deadly correction makes this lost soul cease,
when his life and time will forever stop!

Gallows true, having done their cheerful deed,
crowd lurches forth in a collective swoon.
Beelzebub, gathers fruit of his seed
and reaps happy crowd's dark joy as a boon!

THIS CALMING SEA

I sit here in the darkness at a window
that mirrors my wild mane, unruly me
Imagine how in time this house will grow
around me, a Rapunzel, you will see

My hair in braids grow down a castle vast
The nurses turned to wicked witches, wild
If you don't save me, I will never last
A lonely, lost, love seeking smallish child

Their screams are in my head, such ugly sound
Of capture, castigating, lashing words
My hands, over my ears, have never found
Relief from them, I wish I were a bird

To fly away, and leave my legs behind
To have my arms be wings to carry me
(To where no harm or evil ever find)
Eternally over this calming sea

Trump Cucaracha Cockaraca

Trump Cucaracha Cockaraca

All of Trump's elegance started to erupt
Talking about how everyone is corrupt
He clumsily choses to be celebrating
And adversaries constantly castigating.

He slipped all of his savings under a rug
Net worth equals nichol which was a plug
And all stock marketeers have concurred
None of Trump's stock should be preferred.

Whopping grand finale' eventually knew
Earnings are owned by only a select few
Who are positioned at top of his high ladder
All his money was made into a family matter.

Then there is this thing called Trump Vodka
That is a bunch of cucaracha and cockaraca
Wondering why up his lips like to pucker
His Trump supporters have become a sucker.

The Dance Poetic Repeated

THE DANCE POETIC (just a play with words, acrostic variation)

    T tantalizing, titillating theater, transpires
    H head-on, hesitating hovering hoopla,
E edging effortless extinguished expose' entities.

    D    Dancing dubious distinguished debonair devils;
A anxious actors awaiting attendant accompaniment,
N nuances neither needing necessity nor neglect,
    C castigating casualites continual concordance,
E eager entangled entrance exiting each everyone.

P Pursue petulant possibilities presented passively
O on old odd occasions occupying oblivious obtuseness
E etching embers escaping easy exhibitions exiting
T the touch to trivial tickled trepidation touching tomorrow,
I inhibited inches indicate inklings incidental
C come charm, chance cascading co-mingling cognise coos.

Repeat and join the joyous jubilations of The Poetic Dance.

Meditating

not looking hearing or speaking
nailed by the side of the humming
naked ocean at the feet waving
beating crashing reincarnating
in every eternal moment
rampant rivers of love crescendoing
remnants of the flood of lust decelerating
rumble of the prayerful sea invigorating
rays the fragments of light softening
ceaselessly aware of the moment
driven by the sweetness of our destiny
castigating the rising desires of the flesh
we sat there silently back to the back
on the edge of the old sea bridge
closely scrutinising, waiting peacefully
for the new life in the
belly of a distant
star

On Ps Preaching

There is a place for the poetic preacher,
even in this forum---one can so feature
a castigating word, narrow-minded screed,
up to each person to decide what they read,
and while I don’t much like damning lines,
exploding like old-fashioned land mines,
I’ll hold my tongue while they do their work,
unless they become an insufferable jerk.

Filthy, Stinking Money

Stinking, dirty money
Foul, festering money
Putrid, gassy money
Rotten, disgusting money
Oppressing, cruel money
Castigating, merciless money
Admonishing, finger-wagging money
Subjugating, stone-faced money

Aah, money…
That your kiss is so sweet,
Your embrace so sensuous,
Your possibilities so tempting…
I am dirty with your scent
