Carson Poems - Poems about Carson

Reincarnation of King Saul

The handed instruction was ‘Within two hours’
Purchase two arresting flowers
With an overpowering scent
For A Heart pitiably rent
And a head sorrowfully bent …

And dutifully I went,
From head to toe A Gent
But back with flowers lent,
But for the same purpose meant;
The handed money with me,
The Nice Flowers for Free!

And to my person
It was no dent
But not

The Unknown Dreamer
David J Walker

I saw myself in a rerun of
the Johnny Carson show
from 1974
	       with five more
guests before
	        I would blow
through the curtains and take a bow

Oh
I remember how
he announced
my name clearly and then went
Into

Who Is Christopher Carson Burton

Who is Christopher Carson Burton?
Who am I?
Do I know?
Do anybody know who I am?
I'm just a regular guy a nobody.
A regular guy who grew from poverty.
Someone who was abandoned.
Someone who thought wouldn't make it.
I never ask to live

The Carson Affect

Knowledge is not wisdom just as seeing is not believing
It's just the matter of some in so to be as so deceiving
Knowledge is of the world where wisdom's purely divine
In when being unfurled knowledge loses all of it's shine

God's has the Best Advice for those who are truly wise
His Son paid our price, one day

Spoiled By Carson Eelman- 7th Grader

A tribute to Ray Bradbury's The Veldt

Spoiled
by Carson Eelman

The nursery is a curious place
a place where dreams came true
inside lied an African Veldt.
In there the leaves would sway,
as the grass danced in the wind,
the lions roar, the sun beats hot,
it seems so real but know it's not.

In a world where thoughts come true,
what evil acts

Premium MemberBugle Calls At Fort Carson

I hear the clarion bugle calls at Fort Carson when conditions are just right,
Sounding "Reveille" at break of dawn to the mournful sound of "Taps" at night!

"Reveille" 'wakes soldiers from their well-deserved rest to begin another day
Of training to protect our freedoms, though they do it for very meager pay!

The bugle sounds "Chow Call" at

Premium MemberParade At the Fort Carson Post Exchange (Px)

Today, I was sitting in the PX snack bar sipping a cup o' joe,
Just biding my time while my spouse was busily spending dough!
There was a host of intriguing people passing by in review.
I couldn't help but muse about them as I savored my cup o' brew.

I peered back thro' the mists of time when
