OH! CARMELITA YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU,
OH! CARMELITA YOU KNOW MY LOVE IS TRUE
OH! CARMELITA WHY’D YOU HAVE TO GO……….
AND LEAVE ME ALONE…………..…ME AND MEXICO?
I’VE LOVED MY CARMELITA SINCE I WAS JUST A BOY
WHEN I SAW HER SMILING IT FILLED MY HEART WITH JOY
I NEVER THOUGHT THE DAY WOULD COME
WHEN SHE WOULD EVER GO..............
AND LEAVE ME ALONE ......................…ME AND MEXICO
COME BACK CARMELITA, COME BACK TO ME
COME BACK CARMELITA I’M AS LONELY AS CAN BE.
COME BACK CARMELITA TO THIS BOY WHO LOVES YOU SO .......
COME BACK TO ME…….…ME AND MEXICO
OH! CARMELITA YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU.
OH! CARMELITA YOU KNOW MY LOVE IS TRUE.
OH! CARMELITA WHY'D YOU HAVE TO GO ......
AND LEAVE ME ALONE.....ME AND MEXICO
PICK..... ( OH! CARMELITA )

Oh, my lady dance for me
In liberty free
Float on the floor
In erythematic rhythms the world adores
Let thy silhouette amber glee
Rays of glamour shine on the whole
Dance for me
In freedom and liberty
Effortlessly
Move ever so majestically
Let the people sway
As you move their way
Oh, my lady dance for me
Entice me with your foot steps
Caress us with your movements
Set up free
Dance with me
As you dance on the floor
The dress you wear flows like flag in the wind on a pole
Carmelita dancing free
And dancing all you want to be
It's like your dancing on air
My Senorita
You dazzle me dancing free
You flow ever so brilliantly
Please, please dance for me
Carmelita
Warmth laced amid fragrant; sweet water
Perfumed flowers as her breast they kissed
Embers craving ecstasy which danced
Atop time's hidden pages; designs...
Spanish tiles and, beautiful Carmelita
With softened hands carving their names ?
Etched deep these walls; the beauty within, love.
Warmth laced amid fragrant; sweet water
Perfumed flowers as our breast, they kissed
Embers craving ecstasy which danced
Atop their hidden pages; designs...
Spanish tiles and beautiful Carmelita
With softened hands carving our names
Etched deep these walls; the beauty in love.
Warmth laced amid fragrant; sweet water
Perfumed flowers as our breast, they kissed
Embers craving ecstasy which danced
Atop their hidden pages; designs...
Spanish tiles and beautiful Carmelita
With softened hands carving our names
Etched deep these walls; the beauty in love.
Zorro of the sorrow small,
kissed a lady in the hall,
coming back still feeling bliss,
caught the same girl, was a miss,
not Carmelita at all.
thinking she was,
Carmelita in the dark,
kissed her mouth,
hands did wander way on south,
had a pistol nothing neater.
panting sweet was Carmelita,
fire burning in her heater,
enraptured plunging, something sweeter
stayed until the time had come.
spent the Zorro's, brow did furrow,
coming to the candle light,
Where was the sweetest Carmelita,
some old shiela smiling bright?
Zorro said "oh good to meet ya,"
bounding on black Diablo, in flight!
Don Johnson 14-aug-11
They say the good die young
But what about the sweet and old
Or the middle aged woman
Who kept her family from the cold
Pray for those whom she touched
And many more like she
For this one moment let’s be equal
And pay silence so they travel in peace
Release at least one from all sin
The story of Carmelita Rochelle Gibbs
Is what this piece is about
I truly send my heart out to her kids
And hope their future holds grace
Let them hold a falling star
And know the soul of their MOM
Will never stray from their heart
