Amazingly, Alice assaulted an antelope
Because Bobby’s beavers became bold,
Considering cantilevered canines
Deliberately devastating donor’s doled.
Evelyn entirely excited electric eels
Failing forlornly from forward fencing,
Gaining ground gathering genuine gold
Her happiness heralded high financing.
I indicated initially incapable innocents
Justifying joyous juxtaposition jousting
Keeping kind Kenneth’s kindreds knit
Losing language like legally lost lusting.
Maybe minding manners means more
Neither newness nor novel necessary,
Occasionally opening old occlusions
Promises perfectly positioned pituitary.
Quite questionable quicky quirks
Rage rampantly removing regulations,
Summarily startling some supervisors
Touching their tempermental trepidations.
Until unusual undertakings understood
Veritable vigilantes visited volunteers,
Wildly waiting where we wandered
X-citedly X-iting X-istential X-ospheres
Yonder youthful yaks yielded...yikes!
Zebras zigzagged zestfully ziggurat-likes.

Wiggzy Wormzy
Burrowing
Saying neighbourly hies
As he writhed
From top to bottom
Of the veggie garden
Wiggzy Wormzy
Waving
Sharing friendly hi-fives
As he cantilevered
From leaf to roof
Of the veggie garden

Fallingwater is a house
Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright
And tours are given of its rooms
To bring one great delight.
The home is cantilevered
So the owners'd have a view
Of a lovely waterfall, a vista
Visited by few.
Every door and every window
Can be opened all around
So the residents or visitors
Could relish every sound.
All the terraces and woodwork,
Every fireplace and lamp
Is so obvious a Wright work,
Just as if he'd left a stamp.
After touring and observing
Such a setting so divine,
I can only state the obvious -
I wish that place were mine!

The cantilevered soul
looks up--
Wonders at the mood,
Strikes out alone.
Reduces
All to stone.
He revels in sight;
He sees beyond.
To see or be seen is
his motto.
Truly he will fall
From that old wall
and break
not gently.

Natural Processes
That basket, the one that sets here, on this table, this table where he leans, leaning heavily upon his elbow, khaki left leg cocked-up. Where is it, his self-sought? In that rack of pipes from which he gestures, gesticulates with the stems, smoke, hot air? In that Bentley, in the basement carved out under the deck cantilevered over the brook that once powered a factory and made ribbons, is in pieces, in pieces in precise order? In that life lived under shadows, in the long partnership not waiting for answers not found in his corner, his pipes, his pronouncements? Is that the arrogance of the commonplace, refuge of the soon forgotten, those natural processes?
I hesitate to carry on, carry on, fearing what I might find in that brook, that basement, under the shadows.

Light is rhythm on the end
Of spiral cantilevered space
Bouncing photons’ dreams of birth
Monolithic thoughts that tend
A viral panting pulse to race
For views of worth
Is yet a way to balance time?
Is still an answer found in rhyme?
With written word we speak with ease
To yet unborn on foreign seas
To far flung worlds our words can travel
And worthy thoughts may yet unravel
Secrets lost in ancient past by ancestors
That could not last
To see the fruits of all their thoughts
Fall bursting seeds yet less aborts upon a head
an open mind that shudders from such ecstasy
and for an instant sees like me
and writes to yet another
I reach and greet you
lonely soul
From one gone on to one anon
