Sudden sharp intake of breath.
I wake, in darkness engulfing my senses.
The deafening silence screams
Making me deaf to the smallest sound.
Blinking back the caliginosity,
Seeming darker still with open eyes.
All comprehension of dimension
Lost in the decline of evening's torch.
As the twilight diminished to nought,
All that is left is vastness.
Yet lo, in the shadow it manifests,
Greyness emerging from the pitch.
As evolution of my perception heightens,
The tendrils of near-invisible light
Start to show the form of the room.
The noise in my head calms
As my eyes adjust to the night.
The room once again has form,
Dimension, security, familiarity.
I hear my breath, slowed and sure
And I know I am safe to close my eyes once more.

It's dark again,
The fear of night is screaming to feel the pain.
The dark night making hearts weak,
The silence is crying out loud like a freak.
Can't recall the illumination in nights,
Nothing no more feels right.
I'm in a dark forest with dusky trees,
With no hope no light,
No longer i can fight.
A cracking voice could be heard,
The caliginosity of night making everything shudder.
I remember that sweet morning,
The sun was shining ever so brightly,
But it all turned dark unexpectedly.
Haunted by some unknown shadows,
The wicked souls drowning me into the shallows.
It's dark again,
All my strength, explaining and attempts are just vain,
It's a hidden pain so you won't hear me complain.
But somewhere a little sparkle could be seen,
The mysterious light from my soul where have you been?
Could it be my imagination?
But it seems real.
As the hope that died in my heart comes to life,
I can feel I'm reaching out to light.
It's dark again,
I should be my own light,
A war with myself,
I have to fight.
That's when i realised,
This is not the end,
Cause where strength dies hope begins.

Unfettered mind in the deepest night,
files on batwings to immense new heights.
While nestled dreamers immersed in sleep,
meet with night things in dreamtime’s keep.
Crickets and frogs will lull them to sleep,
shadows playing about pulls minds into the keep.
Therein they will find eyes glowing bright,
owls and bats, cats with nocturnal sight.
The cadence of the unseen rings loud and clear;
twisting and entwining all through the ears.
disguised faces, places will play in obscurity;
twisted scenarios, reel in caliginosity.
In murky compendium stories will swarm,
riding dark horses and onyx unicorns.
A curious note, these night things can teach;
then enter one’s dreams and attach like a leash.
Archetypal patterns, sound, smell and sight,
gather together and may give one a fright
but, there’s always a message, quite loud and clear;
pay attention to dreams, never show any fear.
For guidance is given all dreamers alike,
don’t wait until life fails you with a rigid strike.
Learn to discern the esoteric meanings
and apply it securely for life’s new beginnings.

The dusk casts its shadow upon the land
robbing the light,
setting the stage for caliginosity .
Moonlight faint against transitioning light
stretches eerie fingers onto a land
that allows no man.
Twisted steel, mimicking an uncanny monster,
stationary,
only its shadow moves with moon passing.
Silence, cold and unrelenting as death
is undisturbed by gentle breeze,
yet,
faintly, a rustle interrupts calling attention be paid,
will be ignored forever more.
Huge sockets once capable of sight
blindly bear witness,
a planet once beautiful and bright,
races through the universe
devoid of life.
