Poetry is an art.
The possibilities are endless...
With everything seemingly possible
Including style, form and space.
Requires inspiration, little education but it helps
Intense imagination, a vast vocabulary
Loose interpretation, creativity
Private investigating, entertainment value
And massive amounts of attention and admiration.

Falling stars
Drops unnoticed
Midnight sky.
Before it rains
Comes the black clouds
Over our heads.
Sun always shines
When there's no clouds
To block its rays.
Peaceful weather
Comes after gales
Seen every eyes.
Ominous and squishy thing in bureau drawer
I know because I head his silly roar,
Which angered me, shaken to my core.
You’ll go check it, if me you do adore…
What am I supposed to do? Ignore?
Your checking was rather pathetically poor.
I only gave you one tiny bitty chore.
Why must you right now go to the store?
Maybe I will run down to the seashore.
I stick out my tongue at the closing door.
I’m right back where I started before.
The interloper makes a tiny roar.
Next I call up my new armoire’,
Love you I say. He says “Love you more!”
Hey, what else do you need from the store?
I have multiples, you see, at least four.
Our husband’s life will never be a bore.
I’m not making this up, it’s not an urban lore.
That bureau drawer is starting to ascend and soar.
Good bye, I say to that ominous roar.
why do I love you when all haste say's
that I shouldn't first there was rome
the way the sun danced behind me
over venice canals then there
was Kabul the hints
of the infamous mauve sky catering
to my thighs I could even see how
downtown munich bathed beneath me
an yet all I could envision is that day
that way we danced at Langley
how could our entire surroundings
become so bleakly crafted
above ancient tongues desire
of youthful follies why do I love you
let me count the ways
when everything is said
I guess I loved you more
when I thought you were dead
somewhere over Arlington road
meaningful gestures created
with karma and military orders
us sailing out to sea a quiet vessel
wearing my name on the backside of forever

Knows where you’re at; at all times so you’re easy to find,
Without an extended hand there exploring your mind.
Cataloging everything your liking, supporting, and sharing,
Likes and dislikes insights and pimp fights.
Knowing what you’re pursuing and what you’re trying to achieve,
Your family tree is in its reach and what friends to go see.
Just by knowing the frequency of the likes and comments,
Collecting your data like we’re nature born terrorist.
Where ever you log in your placement is being noted,
Every status they run it through a series of code words.
They have your hometown and where you live now,
Any of them match a singular eye will match your footsteps.
Giving blind vision to the sheep that’s why all you see are echoes,
You know what they know but you don’t know you know all up the ego.
