It's straight, I think, and gladly start,
Faith and hope and trust fill my heart;
Flora and fauna and fields fresh,
Climbers and creepers crawl enmesh...!
Trails with bushes and choke and block,
I twist and turn and thwack the lock;
Hills and vales and mountain- cliffs curl,
Way unto way many ways furl...!
Dogs and cats are part of the way,
Could cattle and hogs keep away;
Mild and wild are beasts of jungles,
Seem perplexed as though in bungles...!
Men and women rich and poor join,
Good and bad seem sides of same coin;
Yet, when Jesus says: I'm the way,
Who will, with him, succeed to stay...?

Lament the clumsy stumble bum who bungles his debut
By mumbling his monologue and missing every cue.
He wanders freely off his mark and often flubs his lines.
His timing’s unpredictable. His rhythm bumps and grinds.
He hams it up like Barrymore and eats the scenery whole.
His critics shame him endlessly, then eulogize his soul.
But though the humbled imbecile stands slack-jawed center stage,
He’s chosen best supporting actor this post-modern age.
His talents prove sufficient in the arts of song and dance
To stand him for election and provide him with a chance.
So he shall be the candidate his party comes to choose.
No matter how the voting goes, he knows he just can't lose.

I wish
I were a cold, cold lifeless stone
when crushed by a careless trudging foot
no pain bemoans.
I wish
I were a nebulous cloud
the playful wind bungles round around
now lady-like floats
then ghost-like bloats
unharmed by its might.
I wish
I were a massive cathedral
where life's grandeur and puniness
unfold
tangle up
and blend
that stands on unimpressed and uninvolved.
I wish
I could run away from the claws
of unending pain and conflict
then easy it would be!
But what are these gifts for
of heart
and mind
and love?
If there would be...
no glow at sunrise?
no thrill at the call of the beloved?
no ecstasy at the birth of a child?
no rapture at success?
no bliss at the dawn of truth?
no aches and pains?
no agonies and poignant torture of loneliness?
I wish
I knew what there is to gain by being human
When the clouds have vanished
I wish to know, and sure am I
I'd still wish to be human,
.............even pay the price.

Barely belaboring the billions of bungles,
Listening to the cold, clamorous Cleveland-like clungles,
Within the bowels of the half-hearted, hard-headed hungles,
Judiciously jeering at the jealous jaguars juicy joy jungles,
She swung the serendipitous swiggles from their silly slow swungles.

The end of this year is a time for reflection
For some, even cover ups to avoid detection
To lay to rest the bungles and rumbles
The fashions, fads, and unintentional fumbles
Time to admit the year was not very good
Whether you were rich or lived in the hood
Especially after COVID-19 showed its ugly face
Where safety seemed possible only in space.
The end of this year is a time for resolutions
For making decisions that provide good solutions
Making the new year better for all concerned
Living the lessons of the past we have learned
Hopefully, with friends and family free to call
May the coming New Year be the best of all.

Out in the jungle, there is a great predator
which is well known, by all of its prey
It sometimes bungles, a hunt of a creature
not one to moan, it goes on with the day
A tigers’ life, is all about survival
and they can smell, that of a new arrival
They are fighters, who like to travel
and grow, so they can prevail
Just like humans, they love a pool
because they want, all that’s cool
Just like humans, they have to kill
because it’s their stomachs, they have to fill
This cat is strong in life, with its size of freight
it has no say in its future, but wants’ what’s wright
It doesn’t want to fall in strive, just to give in to plight
it wants to stay in nature, so it can show its might

Bungles She wears imitations
The Mom doesn’t ever know
Her children not that to hold
To see her in gold
Even her at this old

Money has functions four
Exchange, value, deffered costs and store
It adds to more power in life
For more wealth, luxury and pride
Gold and perfume are assured
And our family future is secured
Yet more is aimed with lotto tickets
Put debit and credit cards in pockets
As most gifts are given in cash
And shopping is never a rash
Friends multiply as riches are abounding
But some try wicked dealings
With no thinking, no self-esteem
They can’t do right it seems
Cluttered mind, few do illegal vices
And render life fully febrile
Some of them forget past struggles
As they venture in race for more money
Their family life bungles
Till bad eyesight and bones are creaky
For they feel “others are better than me”
What sin they are through
Why do they not choose virtue
Try to be fair with money and family
And keep themselves up lawfully

Money has functions four
Exchange, value, later costs and store
It adds to power in life
For more wealth, luxury car and wife
Gold and perfume are assured
Still more is aimed with lotto tickets
Compounded interest secured
With debit and credit cards in pockets
Most gifts are given in cash
Friends multiply as riches are abounding
And shopping is never a rash
But some involve in wicked dealings
No thinking, no self-esteem
Cluttered mind, some terrible vices
They can’t do right it seems
Their living turns into a roll of dice
Some forget past struggles
And venture in race for more money
While family life bungles
Till bad eyesight and bones are creaky
What sin they’ve been through
Why consider “others better than me”
They must cease to be a fool
One should be fair with money and family
