  It's been almost Nine months since you left us  
  and my heart still aches.
  I miss you so much- your smiles that lit up the room, your stories that carried wisdom, and those Reality checks that only You could give.

Blessed Are

Blessed are the poor in spirit, they say,
But the world kicks them down every day.
Crowns of hope crushed beneath gilded shoes,
While rulers feast and pick and choose.

Blessed are those who mourn in the night,
Yet no hand comforts, no eyes catch the sight.
Tears mix with ash on streets that burn,
While the powerful whisper, “Nothing to learn.”

Ageing

Does it seem inevitable to you
That ageing provide with calmness
You get sociopathic too
More addicted to aloneness
When you were young you felt salvaged
Protected by the wise and sane
But you’ve grown old and disengaged
And everything’s becoming plain
The wise support the power drunk
Against their will, but maybe not
Some of them watch their wisdom sunk
They might enjoy it quite

BLESSED WITNESS-

Blessed witness
Come to me my child
Father says to me in a still voice
You're my mine beloved
I created you from heaven
Sent you down to earth
Through a spiritual tunnel
Grew within a womb  of your mother
Father fertile the egg of mama
You'll incubate inside mother's womb
Until you emerge
Spirit first encased in flesh Before during and after, past, present

Unworthy, Yet Blessed

Blessed be the Lord God Almighty,
Who delivereth His generals from the snares of the enemy.

In their great fall, He forsook them not,
But upheld them with His hand and called them once more.
He is the Shepherd who leaves not His own,
The Watchman who allows no harm to overtake His chosen.

Blessed be His Word;
Wise are all His

WHAT MAKES ME SMILE

  Waking up to a brand-new day with a smile—
A gentle smile.
Remembering school days with friends,
Playing in the mud with pets,
Watering my favorite rose plant,
Hoping to see it bloom... and smile.

A smile on the faces of loved ones
Lights up the path ahead with glow.
A healthy breakfast, a smooth ride—
Fueling joy to face the tasks

Remind Me Lord How Blessed I Am

Remind me, Lord, how blessed I am!
I have no disease, from which to fear.

Nor, do I live to be a winning poet!
I am just average, and I do know it.
A family outstanding, fills my heart with joy.
A grandchild, off with honors, to University!
