So many words, such boring waffle
Posturing peacocks, whispering snakes,
Actions so twisted doubtful if lawful
A bunch of connivers, dithering flakes.

In the House which they rule
They pointed and frowned
Lectures unending as if back at school,
Comments unwelcomed, arguments drowned.

Then to the Senate the matter was sent
Pelosi's grandstanding the Media in tow,
Swaying opinion her only intent
Her hands animated, her face all aglow.

But Mitch was just waiting,
Lurking, knives drawn,
Biding his time skillfully baiting,
For he had the Queen, they just the Pawn.

Here comes their bleating
Lost sheep wailing foul
They accuse us of cheating
Which makes me just howl.
Boy I like winning
It's such a huge high,
I so can't stop grinning
While watching them cry.

Now the deal's done
This farce put to bed,
I'll continue to stun
As I forge way ahead

They thought they could win
By playing the part
But if acting's a sin
I've mastered that art.

Another four years
Of me and my tribe,
No matter their tears
To me they'll subscribe.

Bleating of the Sheep

Black faces of wooly lost voices,
do you hear the siren call
of Little Miss Bo Peep?

Can you see her waving
a dollar ensign,
Grand Opening mall flag?

Does this retail muzak rhapsody
securely lull you to sleep?
You got so much Egyptian trust
in Lady Cleopatra libidinous liberty

Has material comfort
become your grazing, green pastures ...
open range captivity?

Shear vote opportunity
is a naked obsession bleat
Cast another empty pocketbook bawl ballot,
and watch your precious
idolatry covering
get blanket poll tax fleeced

Angry bleating of the sheep,
another empty promise
that you hoped
the wolf shepherds would keep

So truly, light-minded naive ...
how falsely deep you believe
Did you think a vote
would set your anxieties free?

The chronic weep of color barrier pain,
be dead end tears
mixed with golden shower purple reign

Oh, woe woe ... woe
to the bleating of the lost sheep

Eat the viol worms of your vanity

Premium MemberBleating Lamb

Lord,
Let me view the world
At each new dawn,
Through childish eyes.
Fixate my thoughts,
Not on sounds
Of an awakening city,
But the mournful cry
Of one bleating Lamb.

Lost and Bleating

O Dear God,
I just wanted something better, just wanted something more
Thought I could go out there and get it
Cleverly maneuver and make it
Somehow got stuck in this stinking hole.

I nibbled at the bush, felt the thorns brush
Thought deeper inside the thorns won't be much
Just a little more, O God, I tried just a little more
Before I knew, it was too late
I am caught in the middle of thorns I hate.

I am in pain, can you hear me bleating?
I am in fear, can you hear my crying?
When you look at the ninety-nine
Oh God, will you see I am missing in the line?
Please do! Please do! I need you to!

It's dark and dreary in the cold night
Wolves are howling, beasts are sniffing
Please, dear God, come, get me home!

I can't believe I am in the sun
I can't believe I am in my pen
You came and parted the thorns
Your bruised hands gently picked me
On Your shoulders they laid me
Carried me home, carried me home!

You knew how to do it
You knew how to make it
I just had to bleat, I just had to bleat
And wait, when my heart missed frightened beats.
