There afar in yon darkened keep,
Beyond my casement high,
Stands the stone of an angel lost
That yet earthly lingers nigh.
The wind blows and the mist flows
From the graven chill,
And thus upon she wanders forth,
For she loves me still.
O’ to sorrow, to journey forth,
Hath become her spirit’s end;
To breach amid the nightly mist
And carry upon the wind!
The moon glows and time slows,
As she wanders from the nil;
Thus many years she’s borne upon,
For she loves me still.
My one true love grieves in death,
Thus she doth not sleep,
As yet she treks her earthly course
From yon darkened keep.
As the wind blows, the mist flows,
Forever and ever ‘til,
And thereupon she’ll wander forth,
For she loves me still.

O’er Yon Mountain
O’er yon mountain where the wind blows strong,
Do I here a lark singing his song?
Or could he be calling to his mate,
Saying “Come sit with me on the garden gate”.
O’er yon mountain where the sun shines bright,
The flowers are growing to the bee’s delight.
The bee gathers the nectar to survive,
He will fly it faraway to his honey hive.
O’er yon mountain where the grass is green,
Any morning a doe can be seen.
Her fawn are also eating near by,
She watches and listens closely to a coyote cry.
O’er yon mountain where the trees grow tall,
Where the snow can reach you chin in early fall.
Where the smoke from the cabin can be seen far away,
Where the aroma of good food, can reach clear into the next day.
O’er yon mountain where the sun will set,
A stranger o’er there I’ve never met.
If there’s a quiet place you want to be,
Then come on o’er yon mountain and sit with me.

Wind plots path confronts tree micro-mass mole,
Legions of leaves, twigs, armored branches whole,
Ill-equipped convictions were extensive,
Stamina, held, losses were intensive.
Sun floats freely above and takes delight,
Wielding its rays, every way, all its might,
Shines through numerous limbs abandoned truth,
Dries foundation, steep its fingers, soiled root.
Rain downpours, floods, futile and unyielding,
Guilty stands accused, exposed, unfeeling,
Its decay, branch, leaves fall, full exposure,
Typical tree, being plain, disclosure.
Commonality as being a tree,
Frail, hail, fail, sail, parts of my history.

Sonnet
May this, thy day, be a bright miracle,
Replete with well loved family and friends.
Not one cloud darest to the sunlight dim,
Love thou art feeling, that which never ends.
And may the light that shineth upon thee
Senteth from God and angels up above,
Be there to keep thy troubles few and wee.
May years together magnify thy love.
Problems cometh but quickly shall abate,
Divided as they now by two shalt be,
All of thy joys increased to twice as great
When shareth by two lovers such as ye.
May this, thy newly joined and wedded bliss
Be sealed fast by thy first connubial kiss.

Lè yon fanm renmen ou
Ou pa ka fè anyen mal
Ou ka chame li ak yon ti chanson
Nan men ou, li pa bezwen anpil.
Lè yon fanm renmen ou
Mond lan sanble li trè bèl
Tout bagay anfò, an pinpan
Lè yon fanm adore ou.
Se tout ane a ki printan
Ti zwazo yo ap repoze e yap chante
Timoun yo ap jwe e yap ri
Gen anpil bonè ak kè kontan.
Lè ou voye flè pou li
Lè ou bay li bèl bijou
Li bo ou tankou yon ti bebe
E li ba ou akolad pou tout yon ane.
Lè yon fanm renmen ou
Ou santi ou ekstrèmman byen
Kay la gen anpil, yon dividal manje
Paske li bay ase pou vant ou plin.
Lè yon fanm renmen ou
Syèl la klere epi li ble
Lanmè a manyifik e trè klè
Lè yon fanm renmen ou.
Lè yon fanm renmen ou
Solèy la cho e li pike
Nwaj yo ap vwayaje
Lè yon fanm adore ou.

Dramatic Verse
Oh look! There he sits by yon fall,
Does he hear the water's call?
Is he waiting to catch a glimpse from far away,
That is what I have brought to him this day.
I bring news to my earthbound angel,
As in yon fall his feet doth dangle.
Suddenly his eyes lift from yon fall and lock upon mine,
He is once more looking for a sign.
As I walk to him and sit beside him on the wall...
That is encircling this magical waterfall...
He takes my hand,
And becomes my husband.
As he kisses for the first time as his wife,
The reflections in yon fall get so bright.
As I gaze upon the reflections what do I see...
A very happy eternity for him and me.

In yonder glen where thistles bloom,
'Midst heathered hills and meadows groom.
A lark ascends with lilting cheer,
Its song a ballad sweet and clear.
The haggis grazes on the brae,
As daylight wanes at close of day.
Auld tales of kin and bonnie lore,
Whispered by the river's shore.
By yon bonnie banks, auld and grand,
Lovers stroll, hand in hand.
Beneath the moon's enchanting light,
They dance to tunes of Highland night.
Oh, gentle winds, oh, rugged glade,
Where Burns himself might find a shade.
With every verse, a heartfelt plea,
For love, for land, for liberty.

The life I was living has gone
Off to hither and thither and yon,
Though I’m trying my best to make do
With whatever it takes to get through.
So I read and I read and I read,
Which provides some escape that I need
And I FaceTime or chat with my friends,
Which I’ll do ‘til this craziness ends.
And I walk, play some games, watch TV -
Keeping busy to me is the key –
But I hope that as time marches on,
Life comes back here from hither and yon.

Yon romantic thrill~~~
With earnest love warming hearts
Passionate around fidelity ties
Fervent midst loyalty bliss
Your commitment of lifetime togetherness
As a blessed couple stays fiery
Weathering every winter coldness challenge…
While celebrating your jubilant wedding anniversary
Here we are, your love’s fulfilled products
As well as your vibrant marriage fruits
Rejoice in beholding your sweetness
While grateful to God, the Source of love*
Who keeps on upholding your partnership
Within His fellowship, vibrantly divine
Anchored upon trust, kindness and respect...
Yon romantic thrill!!!

More than just a nightmare in the world,
there is delight in quest and its fair response,
O thee notion, O love will hold,
for nothing I knew slips off this sense,
touch fair little by little to cultivate,
twas a stir of life,
nor there can repel hope.
