Indigenous Feel of Peaceful Love

Indigenous feel of peaceful love Interferencing touch of skin
There has been no where better I have been
So empowered , clean , free
Often like Im at ease , drinking a tea ,

With stream ,
Although a dream It may seem

Weightlessly I can consumate
a lot more tonnage
At lifes pondurousness ,

Positive evoke , Energy we soak ,
Life comes on a stroke , but we stroke ...
So much left to unlock .

Potential in the abnormality , we catch stars with dignity ,
As one comes as one goes
  Fly Away.. the crows
  Come over , our doves
Closer together , the line draws
  the hole hollows

 Heart follows
   Sweet marshmellows
   and melons

We're here in the comfort
     in the fort of love

Delight In Heart

Delight in heart
  Our eyes are in sight
         Despite any height
There is no rules to abide
Just us by each others side

Laughter we seek
  in the oblique
  Let yourself leak
  As
     From the heart we click.

Speech like music
  and music like silenced words.
      So elusive...
         Diffusive.
          With all the chords

Flows in ears,
Outpours in soul as it cheers,

"Blush on cheeks
 Slowly Blinks ...
  Leans in
    for a kiss,
    Soft bliss
      and encountered a wordless miss"

In the glimpse
          Sweet freeze
                     Love Rinse

To the grey hair

We won't despair.

Premium Member The Life of This Writer

writing is daydreaming on paper or sometimes straight into a computer.
notes crossed out, smacked around, slashed, re-visited, starred, circled,
checked, underlined, slashed out again, retrieved.

after print has happened, it all begins anew. I count the syllables,
make six hundred tally marks on the page, slash out, cross out, circle,
write OKAY in big letters, draw arrows, put Xs, start rearranging.
Using 1, 2, 3, and A, B,C, as I valiantly try to figure out where
the next line is going, or whether to even keep it.

I sit down to figure it out, and decide it will be easier to begin
again, rather than edit what has already been typed. So I begin again,
slashing, dashing, drawing, starring, circling, smacking, cracking,
discarding, resurrecting.

Mum's Christmas Dinner

She stays awake for hours, cutting Xs in the sprouts,
Then peels all the tatties, a ton or thereabouts,
Slicing and dicing parsnips is next up in the plan,
Chops up carrots and a swede, and put them in a pan,
Mixes up her sage and onion and stuffs it in the bird,
Along with some pork sausage meat that’s been pre-prepared,
She takes apart the oven, to fit the turkey in,
Hangs it up with bits of string, there’s no room in the tin,
Wraps sausages in bacon, in case they catch a chill,
But makes sure they‘re all cooked thoroughly, so the family won’t get ill,
Cooks the bird for hours, while the table’s being laid,
With all the finest crockery (and some of lower grade),
Makes space around the table, brings in extra chairs,
Adorns the place with candles and other Christmas wares,
Lays out a Christmas cracker in everybody’s place,
Complete with rather tacky joke, no doubt of a straight face,
And brings out all the condiments, the pickles and the sauce,
The salt and pepper, the mustard and radish known as “horse”,
Next she makes the starter, the simplest course by far,
A cocktail made up of prawns and a sauce out of a jar.
The family then all piles in, and argues over seats,
The children are already full of chocolates and treats,
Grandmother is mumbling, “Kids should be seen not heard”,
Meanwhile back in the kitchen Mum’s wrestling with the bird,
She tries to carve up slices, but ends up with turkey chunks,
While Dad and Gramps have become a pair of Christmas drunks,
They start an argument about which wine goes with the meat,
And restless children run around, not staying in their seat,
Mother tries to keep her calm and bravely soldiers on,
But the roasties are all blackened and the sprouts are over done,
Mum enters the dining room looking very puffed,
She throws the turkey down and shouts ,“There you go! Get stuffed!”

Premium Member I Never Got Math

Math, the words strike terror in my soul. I never got it.
Well, maybe once, but a long time ago, before you were born.

When I returned to college after a twenty-five year hiatus,
A math teacher discovered that I had forgotten all of it.
               Everything was gone.
The xs and ys and parenthesis were an anomolly to me.

She was kind, and patient.
She re-taught me from ground zero,
amazed that I had lost every memory of math
probably thanks to a less-than kind or understanding math teacher.

That was twenty-three years ago.
I am pretty sure if I had to understand math again today,

I would have to start at third grade level, page one.

Once Upon a Mobile Charger

Once upon a time of mobile
chargers,
Lives a small frighten
kittyhawk,
Sacred and lost in the jungle
of Xs!
Trapped for months and
hours,

One day she broke her chain,
And flew days until she reach
a place,
A tree beside a brook called
'POETRY',
And met many new friends,

Caught a glance of a Nuhawk
by another branch,
They soon got along well and
broke into song,
Romantic duet so strong,
Hundreds gathered to listen
and dance.

By late that evening a few
remain,
An Ancient Ox,two
turtledoves,a GhostOwl,and a
ladybug,
When it was finished she
rested her head on his crest.
Which brought the crowd into
rapture!

A happy ending is what we
are after,
Love is not blind for these
fellows,
More to come from the leaves
of Poet's Corner,
Would you stay and hear
some more...?

Until another present us a
bard to tell,
Of lonely hearts finding love
again,
I leave you with the story of
Kittyhawk and her lover....
Adios Amigoes and
Senoritas !!

Always Been Crazy

Always been crazy, dizzy even,
for gumdrops,
hankering iced jellyrolls.
Keen longing makes nougat
outlandishly pleasing.
Quick!
Relish stimulating temptation
until vigorous willpower
Xs yummy's zaniness.

Wrote this ABC..... poem for the recent contest, but by the time I got there, the contest was gone, dang! Hope you enjoy it anyway... I sure did enjoy writing it!

Us

A lovable person
Beautiful smile
Cute face, chunky waist
Deviled mind
Enhanced intellgence
Filled with happy times
Gentle tender kisses
Held by you
In a
Jar filled with
Kiddy games we
Loved to play
Months before it got to late
Numbers lost
Over time while
Painted notes of ours
Quest to
Run in colored
Seas
Torn apart in
Unrated love
Vowels
Washed with
Xs and Os
You sealed with a
Zeolus kiss that we both miss

Tatty Brothers

My brother has just got inked,
with style - he's quite a dude
in this we are somewhat linked
as I am also tattooed.

neck and ankle, inked up twice
displaying them with class
though mine is not quite as nice
as it's placed upon my ****!

two Xs,and two chevrons
daughters and direction
as opposed to a gurt pig
my rugby club connection

all worn with pride and passion
suiting one another
each of them our own fashion
for us - me and my brother.

Premium Member You Are You

I asked when he came
what is your name?
He replied in a reflex
I am called X.
I thought he was joking
or a mad man in the making.
I smiled and asked why
you are not called XY?
There are many Xs
who pride on their success,
there are many Ys
who think they’re the only wise.

I asked if you’re nameless
would people see you faceless?
You said for life’s race to start
one gets a name tag at birth.
Someone had said truly
name doesn’t matter really,
rose is what it is because
a rose is a rose is a rose.
Your name maybe X,Y or U
but you are you are you.

Insomnia

I cried "my father" less twice
Say thrice for I called the second
Hiding my scared face from the lightening flash

True the light is light
Or what else could be lighter?
After weaning through acclaimed deception
Embracing the light in truth that has its root in lies
Scientifically proven by Xs and Ys
And Constants “K” and/or measured in Joule

I forbid the memory that flashes in this forest of night
Hammering in my head
Even in the light the thunder-strike thunders
Shaking the sole of my toe-less feet in repulsive horror of sleep

Sleeping wide awake, remembering the cooing bird of noontime

Lost in echoing thought…With watery eyes like rain waiting its turn
“Wait for the morning when light chases dreams and terror is silent”

The Light Fairy

The light fairy

Lucent light
 At times the triggering dark
Followed by the glowing spark..

 It'll vary
   Sometimes we'll need to carry
       The unknown strike ...

There's merrily no hurry
Sweet moments will stay in our memory diary
No matter what there will shine our love fairy
      Happy Monthly versary

If Art Was Time

If I were to collage next year
I’d place bronze across gold
and third over first,
stick paper upon electric,
paste glutton below thirst.

If I were to sculpt next year
I’d chisel women into boardrooms,
chip away white to reveal colour,
smooth borders, fences and walls,
curve catwalks with something fuller.

If I were to paint next year
I’d splash rainbows over churches
and shade Xs in boxes to stay,
I’d smudge pay gaps, titles and labels,
etch over surgeries, filters and Black Friday.

But if I were to sketch last year,
using invisible ink I’d draw a stage, ruined,
without watercolour I’d wax a bridge, rammed apart,
in fine liner I’d retouch a city’s cycle path, attacked,
keeping a vanishing point in sight and restart.

So if art was time, and I free to design,
I’d graffiti the White House
with handprints the paint of all races,
I’d stencil love above hate,
and erase hurtful mouths from all faces.
